Our home is unique since it is only 2 blocks from St. Mary's hospital and 9 blocks from Mayo Clinic. 2 bedrooms on the main floor and one upstairs. King bed in one main floor bedroom. Each other bedroom has a queen size bed in it. The bathroom is also located on the main floor. Over 2,200 square feet for you to enjoy. Relax in a safe neighborhood. There are 3 steps to get into the home, so it is easy access for most. Oak hardwood floors on the main level and fir hardwood floor upstairs. We are only 2 blocks from restaurants, a mall, and soon a grocery store. A compact single-car garage is next to the house. Please park in the garage/driveway or you will get a parking ticket from the city of Rochester. Only permitted parking is allowed on the streets between 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. All other times you may park on the street. This is due to the closeness of St. Mary's hospital. 2-3 vehicles could park in the driveway besides the one in the garage. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range and cooking utensils, Keurig and regular 12 cup coffee makers, small electric appliances, a pot/pan set, baking pans, glassware, cutlery, Corelle dishware, plastic dishware for kids, and also some paper plates for you to use due to the lack of a dishwasher. A basic selection of cooking spices and condiments is stocked in anticipation of your arrival. There is a 'Smart' TV which has cable and several apps to access YOUR personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other personal streaming TV accounts. You may watch TV in a heat/massage chair in the living room. There is unique accent lighting in the dining/living room. There is high speed wireless internet service available throughout the house. There are alarm clocks at each bedside. Please also check out the assortment of DVDs, board games, jigsaw puzzles, toys, and books for your use. There is central air and heating in the house. The bathroom has a full bath with shower. The bedroom upstairs also has a Smart TV. In the basement there is a full size washer and dryer for you to use. There is an iron and ironing board available for you use. No smoking is allowed in the house. Please use the backyard if you need to smoke. Pets are not allowed in the house, due to many people having allergies and medical issues. We have a rental certificate to rent this home legally to you. We have been serving in the business industry since 2003. We are covered by faith and trust in Him. God has led us to this home to help you with your needs. A beautiful view of the fields with our rooms on the backside and side of the building. For visitors seeing loved ones in the nursing home, we are right beside it as well. Residents of the Valley View Apartments can access Highway 14 less than one mile to the north, and from there can head towards Brookings to the West or Mankato to the East. Recreation activities include a swimming pool, Central Park with picnic shelters and playground equipment and Kuhar Park which is located on the scenic Cottonwood River. Red Rock Central High School is located in Lamberton. Lamberton is situated along Highway 14, just to the west of New Ulm. The Red Rock Central School District serves the cities of Lamberton, Sanborn, Storden and Jeffers. Campus is located just a few blocks north of the property. The Valley View Apartments are on the south side of Lamberton. This is an ideal location, being that it is right across 9th Avenue from our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, the community pool , and the local school. Being on the souther edge of town provides residents with beautiful views of the prairie. However the size of the town allows for walkability to any of the local retailers, entertainment options and amenities. Major employers include the Meadowlands Farmers Co-Op, Red Rock Central Schools, Valley View Manor Nursing Facility and French Ag Research Inc. The DM&E Railroad runs through Lamberton daily. Lamberton is also home to the University of Minnesota’s Southwest Research Outreach Center. Founded in 1959, the center is now an 840 acre research facility. The primary faculty and the Advisory Committee collaborate with technicians, scientists and the community on multiple research endeavors. On- going research at the center includes soils, crops, entomology, pathology, horticulture, water quality and forestry. The Southwest Research Outreach Center is one of six research stations in the State and is the foremost center for agriculture research in southwest Minnesota.
