The best way to and from your vacation rental, villa rentals, apartment rentals or other accommodation is by bus. The main bus area has a schedule of what buses go to which beaches and timings for each. Be sure and buy a round trip ticket. Taxis are also available but with a limited amount on the island you will sit in your apartment rental or villa rental for a long time waiting for one. Mykonos tends to be very crowded with visitors during July and August. The best time to visit is mid-May to June

The white sand beaches are an irresistible draw and visitors throng to them for water sports or just tanning in the sun. At Elia Beach
there is an awesome restaurant called Elia and is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun set into the Aegean after a full day of playing in the sand and sun. After the sun starts to set some of the beaches turn into party clubs and start to swing. Paradise Beach
offers the Tropicana and is a must see at least once. The Kalua Bar at Paraga Beach
is another must see. There are a number of bars and restaurants on the beaches some even sporting outdoor pool areas.
In town it’s a short stroll from your accommodation to one of the many clubs in town. The Little Venice area has many of the best bars on the islands. Bars like the Galleraki Bar, Scarpa, Remezzo or Asta
. Many of the first timers to the island go to the Scandinavian Bar and Space, and it is always a treat to follow the locals to their favorite watering hole.
