Home of the Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach, New South Wales is a must for finding any vacation rentals or condo rentals in Australia. The state is Australia’s most populous, with over 7 million people and nearly 4.5 million in the state capital of Sydney. Located on the South East coast, most airlines will fly through Sydney before transferring across to the rest of the country. This makes for the perfect place to rent accommodation to truly experience the city and surrounding areas (and get over your jet-lag too)!
In Sydney, there are endless opportunities of things to see and do, with plenty of accommodations in the central business district (CBD) or near quant beachside suburbs. The city is well-known for its commerce, culture, arts, fashion and entertainment. If finding a vacation rental in the heart of the city is appealing, an area known as the Rocks is just around the corner from the Syndey Opera House and the Harbour Bridge – two tourist sites that can’t be missed. From here, you can take a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach, a quaint surfer style suburb. But Bondi Beach is perhaps the most famous in Sydney, with white sand beaches and excellent surf, let alone opportunities for people watching. There are plenty of condo rentals here too.
Outside of the city, you will find diverse landscapes throughout the state of New South Wales, including snow topped ski hills, beautiful beaches, and green farms. While Australia is not typically known for the snow, the Snowy Hills are part of the Great Dividing Range (straddling its border with Victoria) and has skiing and lodging at the Thredbo and Perisher ski resorts. Other adventures to explore include the lush forests of the Blue Mountains, the ‘real’ Australian Outback to the West of the state capital, as well as wineries and farms for the foodie in you.
A popular multi-day trip includes driving along the Eastern coastline heading South towards Melbourne or North to Brisbane, staying in vacation rentals or condo rentals along the way. This is a great way to see small towns and villas, while experiencing the laid-back surf culture of Australia. Book your accommodations today!
