We have a Majestic Oceanfront Outer Banks Vacation Rental available. All 3 buildings come with your rental. It has everything, elevator, large, heated pool with 8 built in benches, kiddy pool & 2 hot tubs. Six bedrooms, sleeps 12 to 14 people. We are located just 2 miles into the 4-wheel drive section of the Outer Banks of Corolla / Carova, which is home to the famous wild horses. Why go on an expensive 3-hour horse tour when you can see them for the whole week. Up on a 23-foot elevation overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean, Currituck Sound, Corolla Lighthouse & the famous Monkey Island we can boast of the best views for miles. The main house has 3 floors with an elevator, theater room, exercise room, four large master bedrooms plus a bedroom with a bunk bed with steps and half bath. Main house: Third floor has half bath off the kitchen. You can hire a great chef to come in one of your first nights there and have delicious leftovers. We ask that guests bag all trash before they place in outside trash bins. There is no recycling at the house but there is a recycling center on Elk Creek Road, guests are encouraged to take their recyclables there during their open hours (Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat) House does have WIFI with Riverstreet wireless this is a line of site unlimited data, fiber based, wireless system with standard speeds. It would be viable for zoom calls and streaming just please do so in SD. There are Two TV's with Direct Tv and one TV with a DVD player! Powder Horn Mountain is approximately 13 miles from King St in Boone. It is about a 25 min drive in mountain time. The closest grocery store is Food Lion at the intersection of 421 and old 421 about 8 miles. Additional grocery stores include Lowes Foods, Publix,Harris Teeter and Earth Fare. We recommend that you buy groceries before you arrive, you really won't want to leave when you get here, however, we do have lots of options for those that choose to explore! Local wineries like Grandfather Vineyards, breweries including Molly Chompers, AMB and Booneshine, restaurants galore! Tweetsie Railroad is about 30 miles so about 45 mins and same for most of the ski resorts like Sugar Mountain. You are about 45 mins to Blowing Rock from Powder Horn but it is a gorgeous drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway! For our anglers please note we are right next to Elk Creek which is a state stocked trout stream. You will need your fishing license if you fish there. The nearest grocery store is ten miles away so stop on the way in for groceries or use the offered grocery delivery service. Besides fishing & relaxing on the porch or along the stream, you have hiking trails directly across the street in Powder Horn Mountain and Lil Hidden Creek Gem Mine just a quarter-mile away. There is horseback riding five minutes away in Leatherwood and four ski areas within a 45-minute drive. THE SPACE New Rental September 2021! Welcome to Star View Cabin! The space has been setup to accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. With no stairs, the main floor includes kitchen, living room, 1 King Bedroom and 4 Twins in Second Bedroom and a full bath. Upstairs includes another full bath, along with a 1 King Bedroom. Downstairs includes an open family room with 1 Queen bed, full bath, laundry room and lower deck access. The new, well equipped kitchen has all new appliances including a gas range. All appliances are full size and smaller appliances like crock pot, blender, keurig and drip coffee maker, cooking utensils and pots and pans, cookie sheets, strainers, knives etc. are included. Exceptionally well stocked for the pickiest cook. Approx. 8 miles to the closest grocery store but Instacart delivers from several stores if anything is forgotten. Wireless mifi internet has supported multiple people working from home but we recommend downloading your Netflix favorites just in case. Renters have access to the outdoor pool during the summer months as well as hiking trails, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, campground, fishing, paddle boating, and more at no additional cost. Don’t forget to star gaze in the amazingly dark sky! Just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Rocky Knob Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, New River Tubing, horseback riding at Leatherwood Stables, breweries, wineries, camping, fly fishing, and Elk/Laurel Creek, this property is perfect for your next family vacation. Drive less than an hour to ski or snow tube with the kids, 30 minutes to App State football games, and High Country festivals/concerts for more family fun! The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. All linens, starter paper towels and toilet paper provided. Dogs welcome with $50 fee, max two. Smoking is prohibited at all cabins and there is a $250 fine for anyone that smokes or vapes inside. Virtual tour is available. There is no additional fee to use the community amenities. You will receive booking correspondence when you book that will have the combination to your house as well as your gate code. Please print this off prior to arrival. Fishing in the ponds within the community is welcome without a permit. If you fish on Elk Creek you will need a fishing license. The ponds are not for swimming but the river at the campground is a great place to take a dip! This house does not have an outdoor firepit but we encourage guests to reserve a campground site for their night of s'mores! Wood burning fireplaces on two levels. Wood is not provided but you can order some from your property manager when you book. Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. Guest access You will easily be able to park two cars in the driveway a third depending on size, would also be easy to park. The cabin is at the end of the street so if you need to park past the house you can or additional vehicles can be parked in the overflow lot by the clubhouse. You will need a car to get around. Other things to note You do not need 4wd unless we are expecting a nasty storm and you need to get out right away. Please be prepared for those situations. There is a gated entry to the community and you do need to come in the front gate. You will get a guest pass at the front gate when you check in during normal business hours or on Sat from 7am till 5pm. If you arrive in the evening please just pick up your pass the next day. There is no additional fee to use the amenities in the community.

Sugar Top has an on-site shuttle to take you to and from your car when you're going out for the day. 24 gated security, free local phone service, in-house garbage chutes, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and fitness room are all included with your rental of this condo. Kitchen has pots and pans, dishes and silverware, small appliances. NO coffee is provided, but we are now stocking units with salt and pepper, and cooking oil. Sugar Top condos are not air conditioned. The units only have a 38 gallon water heater , due to space limitations. This only permits a 3-5 minute shower before the heater needs to recycle and reheat. .

The Kitchen, dining room, and living Room are perfectly set up to both watch your favorite football game and enjoy the long range mountain view! This house has a full size washer and dryer as well as all full size appliances in the kitchen, and a work/ desk space in the queen bedroom. We even have a little cabinet for your fur baby supplies which includes some pup towels, dog bowls, and a leash or two! Limit is 2 dogs only for this cabin. Please indicate that when you book as the fee for dogs is added AFTER you book. The house is on a combo and access is all touch free. You will be emailed all your access instructions and gate code when you book. Please keep an eye on your email for those documents! What's Included All our cabins come with all linens we do recommend guest bring extra pool towels for both visiting the campground (huge swimming holes down there!) and the community pool for when it is open. We also provide one roll of paper towel and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for each guest. A small amount of cleaning supplies as well as a few trash bags, dish detergent, laundry detergent and a sponge are also provided. Community This house is located in Powder Horn Mountain in Deep Gap, NC. We are about 25 mins to Appalachian State University and Main Street in Boone but only about 13 miles. We are about 18 -25 miles to all the ski resorts or about 35 to 45mins. Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are each about 35-45 mins from our front gate. The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 7 miles away with an access point at the top of Elk Creek Rd on old 421. The closest grocery store is Food Lion located at the intersection of 421 and Old 421 across from Tractor Supply. There is RV camping and horseback riding near by at Leatherwood Mountain Resort. Elk Creek is just outside the front gate of Powder Horn and is a state stocked trout stream this is an anglers paradise make sure you get your fishing license, you will find it is some of the best fishing around! Local wineries and breweries abound including Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Booneshine Brewing, Grandfather Vineyards, Banner Elk Winery and so many others. So much to do!!!! Make sure to also check out the Lil' Hidden Creek Gem mine located about 1 mile past the back gate of Powder Horn. Call ahead and they will get mining buckets ready for the little ones! Within the gates of Powder Horn is its own little community! There are three ponds, a campground on the river, horseshoe pits, grills, and fire circles, Clubhouse, fitness center, community pool(open seasonally), game room, playground, tennis court, half basket ball court, chapel and miles upon miles of awesome hiking trails right out your front door!

The house is very cozy the kitchen is full of everything you need, Keurig coffee maker, crockpot, toaster, blender, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, etc. There is a microwave and a mini stove and stove top. Full size fridge. All Linens are provided including sheets and towels. Main floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and they share the main floor bath that is a tub shower combo. The washer and dryer are in the basement we do ask for kiddos and pets not to go to the basement it is an unfinished space. Upstairs is bedroom 3 with queen bed and 3/4 bath claw foot tub only, no shower. Wood burning fireplace. Games and a collection of movies provided. Internet is wireless internet with Riverstreet. Unlimited data and fiber speed based. Can be spotty in a storm so we still recommend downloading that favorite binge TV show before you arrive! Best cell service is through Verizon. Dogs are allowed. There is a $50 per pet fee. Renters have full access to the fitness center, community pool (during season), hiking trails, tennis court, fishing in the lakes, chapel services on Sunday, playground, and even the paddleboats during the summer.
