Some reviews from past guests: 5/5 Great place to disconnect. We got married in February and after quarantining for 6 months due to Covid we needed a getaway where we could social distance. For her 40th Birthday, my wife wanted to be in touch with nature and this was the perfect place for us to do that. The cabin was cute and cozy, very quiet and peaceful and we loved having a fire every night. Having Daisy, the dog, come over every day was very nice and cute and also gave us a sense of security from the 400 lb neighbor (the bear haha). The only thing we wish we would’ve had was access to the lake. Check in, check out was very easy. It was a delightful stay. We will definitely be back. 09/15/2020 at 2:30 PM 5/5 Unplugged Weekend Perfect looking for those to unplug. Neighborhood was really out in the middle of nowhere, dirt roads to get in. Cabin was simple, very clean and well stocked. Nice big yard, no problem hooking up to WiFi. Had Netflix, Pandora, Roku, and a local news feed. No live tv. No cell service (that was perfect. Lol). Playing board games, relaxed, reading, campfire, s’mores, etc. Short drive to Juniper Springs, Gator Joe’s, Silver Springs, Dam Diner. Nothing fancy, but dog friendly and comfortable. We would definitely stay again. 07/05/2020 at 6:47 PM 5/5 Little Cabin in the Woods This is a great property for people that travel with their dogs. Our Fur Baby loved the yard, very frisbee friendly. We enjoyed the well stocked cabin, complete with bottled water. Great stay for a great price. Highly Recommended. 02/17/2020 at 4:24 PM Rebecca January 2020 Cabin was as pictured. Very clean & the host was helpful & quick to reply. Other reviews mentioned issues getting there -- but we had none at all. GPS took us right to the house & no issues with sugar sand & our SUVs. Being on well water, it was nice touch to find a filtered water dispenser. Towels & sheets were good quality & kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities & then some. Neighbors were friendly. Property felt very safe & secluded. Lots of wildlife visit the cabin & can be found in surrounding neighborhood including peacocks, birds, wild pigs. Favorites are the neighbor's friendly dog & the cabin's pet chicken. My 5 yr old son enjoyed running around the property and making Smores by the fire pit at night. Wi-Fi was very good. Enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra night, thanks to the host happily obliging our request. Highly recommend staying here. Dianne September 2019 The unpaved streets take a little getting used to. The mosquitos were pretty bad so we couldn't sit outside very long. The neighbor's dog was delightful and made us smile. This is the perfect site if you want seclusion and a get-away from city life. We loved the crowing roosters and braying donkey every morning at dawn. Very quiet and restful. I felt like I was at summer camp. Shadmit March 2019 Nice and quiet place. Very clean. If you want to get away and enjoy the nature, that's the place to book. The host is fantastic. Great communicator and makes sure you are nothing but 100% satisfied from your stay.
