Northeast Minnesota Accommodations

Northeast Minnesota Travel Guide
From its cascading waterfalls to its luxury vacation rentals, its rich mining history to its seemingly endless recreational activities, Northeast Minnesota is a year-round destination with something for every traveler and accommodations to match every individual.

Small towns, larger cities and undiscovered wilderness are what make up this Northern United States destination. Vacation rentals in this spectacular destination can offer either the peace and quiet that can only be found in the wilderness, or a condo rental at the center of big city life.

The different areas of Northeast Minnesota have their own unique features and accommodation. The Iron Range, named for its rich supply of iron ore, has both an interesting mining history and renowned trout fishing and recreation activities. The North Shore of Lake Superior, in contrast, is home to the city of Duluth. With museums, restaurants, shopping and luxury condo rentals, Duluth has it all and is a great place to reserve a vacation rental for a bit of big city action. River Country offers a variety of watersports, including one of North America’s most popular canoe routes.

With numerous choices for lodging directly on the shores of Lake Superior, the views from Northeast Minnesota’s accommodations are unparalleled. From sunup to sunset there is beauty at every turn and an activity at every step. Golfing, boating, kayaking, fishing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing are just a few of the activities that Northeast Minnesota is renowned for.

The wildlife, forests, lakes, rivers and rapids of Northeast Minnesota have an undeniable beauty, while the towns in the area offer a bit of culture with their heritage museums and art galleries. With a vacation rental in this area, visitors can indulge in nature’s offerings, culture at its best and accommodation that is second to none.
