Two vineyards and wineries
operate in and around Okanagan Centre. Arrowleaf is a small family-owned winery, open for visitors from May 1st to November 15th. The Gray Monk Estate Winery has been in existence since 1982. The vineyard offers a large list of wines ranging from red, white, blush and dessert wines. The annual Okanagan Fall Wine Festival takes place over a 10-day period early in October. The Festival has over 100 events that take place throughout the Okanagan.

One area that is really handy and gets you introduced to the local bush is Beaver and Dee Lakes. There is some great trout fishing available combined with some excellent vacation rentals along the lakes.
