Finding lodging and accommodations is easy in Salem, the state capital, or in Portland, where condo rentals and vacation rentals abound. For the outdoor enthusiast it seems a hard task just deciding where to go and what to do, from hiking through the dense evergreen forests in the lower elevations or fishing and kayaking along the Willamette River, the choices are endless. For the Naturalist there are the majestic redwoods along the rainy Western Coast or the high desert across much of the Eastern state. Many of Oregon’s mountains are in fact extinct volcanoes, including Mount Hood, Mount Bachelor and the Three Sisters.

You are welcome to take advantage of the privacy of the yard/garden, but please do not use inside. We want you to enjoy the space we have provided for you, relax, and have a good time. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL INCUR A $500 PENALTY IF YOU USE INSIDE OUR HOME. Although the apartment is attached to the owners' home, the living spaces are separated by multiple rooms, and sound-proofed walls. Extra detail has gone into planning your privacy. A light footprint - In creating our Studio, one of our goals was to recycle and re-purpose as much as possible. We had fun doing it and resources the masonry for the patio, the ceiling in the studio is original and in 2015 we installed the solar panels which provide enough electricity to power almost all the needs for the house, including the hot tub. We try to not use any herbicides, and recycle just about everything that the recycling people will take. GLBTQ Friendly, All are welcome here.     The beach house is an incredible cottage in a perfect location. You will enjoy an unforgettable vacation in one of Oregon's premium whale watching sites. The interior is completely nautical and is completely equipped with all the conveniences for a great vacation. Inside there are beach views throughout the house, and it completely takes on a ship's theme lovely dark cedar ship lapped siding. It has a 54" ship's wheel and two lofts, one accessed via the ship ladder. There is a queen bed in the Captain's Quarters, a full bed in the Quarter deck loft and once accessing the ship ladder you will be in the Crow's Nest loft with one full and twin bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen & solid granite counter tops. We have a number of high end classic, pirate games, and quality poker chips in a case for family fun. We also have adapters for each type of game console ready to plug and play. But most important is that you will be staying at the most charming home on the Oregon Coast, and in the very best location that has a long, long sandy walking beach, with a view of the Yaquina Head lighthouse, and a Marine Garden's beach with tidepools and rocky cliffs right there, where sea lions often come to bask, and the Sea Gull and Otter Rock is off in the distance.
