Fun is practically guaranteed when you stay at Mountain Flower. The 4-bedroom log home offers plenty in the way of entertainment, including a game room and an outdoor hot tub. What’s more, it’s located in the Alpine Mountain Village resort, which includes a seasonal swimming pool among its amenities. And perhaps best of all, it’s just a few miles from Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, shops, and more.
Mountain Flower’s game room will no doubt be the most popular gathering spot in the home, especially with the kids. Located downstairs, it includes a pool table, foosball, table tennis, a flat-screen TV, and a game system. Whichever game you play, afterward you can celebrate your win (or console yourself for your loss) by heading out to the lower deck and luxuriating in the hot tub. For a truly magical experience, soak among the steamy bubbles in the evening as owls hoot and whip-poor-wills trill beneath a canopy of stars—sheer bliss!
The main floor is home to the great room, another fabulous space for hanging out with the gang. The large armchairs and sumptuous leather couches are so comfortable! In winter the stone-surround gas fireplace will add to the welcoming vibe; in summer the breeze of the ceiling fans will complement (if not replace) the air-conditioning. The large smart TV can accommodate your Netflix and Hulu accounts, so you don’t have to worry about missing your favorite shows.
The great room also encompasses the dining area. In addition to a roomy table that seats 6, there’s a breakfast bar with room for 3 more. If you’d prefer to dine alfresco, head to the dining tables on the decks—the lower deck and the main deck each have one. You can cook outdoors too, on the gas grill. Though once you see how beautifully equipped the gleaming kitchen is, you might want to get cooking indoors!
In addition to the great room, the main floor houses the master suite. While all 4 bedrooms ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, with handsome furnishings, a TV, and ample storage, the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a jetted tub. After a day of hiking, biking, or shopping, we’ll know where to find you: soothing your tired muscles with a restorative soak!
A second en-suite bedroom, this one with a queen-size bed, is in the loft. Also in the loft is a charming sitting room, perfect for playing chess, watching TV, surfing the web via the free WiFi, or enjoying quiet one-on-one conversations. Its futon opens into a bed, so that the room can serve as an additional bedroom.
The remaining 2 “official” bedrooms are downstairs on the lower level. Each has a queen-size bed, and they share the 3rd bathroom. If you have additional guests, Mountain Flower also has a sofa that converts to a queen-size bed, so that the lodge can sleep 11 people in all.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer, cable channels, a large paved driveway, and of course, glorious views of the surrounding woodlands. Then there are the amenities of the Alpine Mountain Village resort: an outdoor swimming pool open throughout the summer, a play area for little ones, lovely walking trails, and a covered picnic pavilion.
What’s more, Mountain Flower is close to just about everything there is to see and do in Pigeon Forge. The parkway that is the town’s main thoroughfare is less than a mile away (though given how peaceful the cabin’s setting is, you’d never know it). In less than 15 minutes you can drive to Dollywood, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, Gatlinburg Golf Course, the Titanic Museum, the Tanger outlet mall, dinner theaters, arcades, go karting, and more.
When you stay at Mountain Flower, you just might enjoy your best vacation yet. So make your reservation today… before someone else beats you to it!
