    Comfortable and entire apartment on first floor for family vacation rental, located very central in Vedado neighborhood, on L street just one block from La Rampa famous boulevard (where WiFi service is available 7/24 ) and 3 blocks from the Malecon seafront avenue, the spectacular promenade beside the ocean and a nice place to stroll along at sunset or to meet the locals. Very close to Habana Libre, Nacional and Capri hotels, private and government restaurants and cafeterias as El Litoral, Waoo!, Cibao, La Torre, Coppelia ice-cream parlor; lots of clubs, cinemas, theaters & many other attractions. Sweet Habana apartment is very clean and secure, luminous and airy. The living area has a TV with local channels and opens to a balcony; the dining room has seats for 6 and a large glass window that provides a good ventilation. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave oven, gas stove with oven, a two doors refrigerator and a variety of electric appliances, cookware and dinner service. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with air conditioning. The master bedroom has double bed, TV and DVD player. It has direct access to the bathroom. The second bedroom has a convenient double and a single bunk beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, hair dryer and hot and cold water. Clean bedding and bath, face and hand towels are provided as well as shampoo, soap and toilet tissue. Washer, iron and hanging lines are provided. There is smoke detector, Safety card and First Aid Kit. A land line phone for local calls and a local cell phone with ($10) credit are available for the use of the guests. Internet access is available at the hotels. WiFi is also available all along La Rampa Boulevard using a pre-paid card. The entire apartment is available for guests with the exception of the locked areas, reserved by the owner for storage. The building has wireless intercom. No elevator in the building, no easy access for handicapped persons. Parking is allowed on the street and there is a controlled parking area next to the building (tips are expected). Transportation is not an issue as there are plenty of old car taxi's going by all the time, regular taxis and the City Tour bus stops in front of the building. There are several car rental agencies around but we would recommend you, if you are interest on renting a car, you should book it online in advance or contact the agencies by email or phone before you come. We appreciate our guests to have an ethical behavior. There are other family´s apartments in the building then we ask please, do not make unnecessary noises or play loud music. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, do it at the balcony instead. Pets are not allowed. In general Cubans are very friendly and like to talk and socialize with visitors. However is interesting to note that in tourist areas is common to find some persons who try to get advantage of foreign tourists. Guests should be very careful allowing other persons into the apartment. Guests are responsible for any offense that could happen in the apartment.

Perfectly suited for those interested in a longer stay, this large, bright and airy one bedroom town home is well appointed with every detail right down to safety pins and birthday candles. Walk in, unpack, uncork and let yourself thaw out. This town home is spaciously spread out over 2 levels, with the bedroom located on the lower level with its own balcony walk out. Inverter split unit airco cools this huge bedroom with walk in closet, bookcase full of great reads, and computer desk for your comfort. Bathroom has been recently renovated with Italian porcelain tiles with marble inlay. It's clean, simple and elegant. Also note the queen size bed has a beautiful new gel mattress that is covered with the famous "Protect-A-Bed" mattress cover. For your comfort and safety, the mattress cover and pillow covers are washed and sanitized. The upper level hosts a beautiful glass dining table for 4, a grand and spacious living room full of light, and a recently renovated kitchen with new refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and all the other bits and bobs you would find at home. Open the large french doors to the balcony and revel in the warm and constant Caribbean trade winds as you overlook the hills of Pointe Blanche, Devil's Copper coastline and exotic St Barth's in the distance. Furniture is bright and colourful rattan and surrounds you with a cozy tropical feeling. My little sister and I bought this townhouse last year with the intention for her to spend more time in the sunshine and warmth of St Maarten. Family and friends have been our guinea pigs and helping us with ideas to make this townhome a special place for visitors to kick off their flip flops, park their pool noodles and chill on the porch with a guavaberry colada. When you arrive, you will find your fridge stocked with some snacks, fruit, milk, bread, our famous gouda cheese, butter, fermented grape beverages and fermented hop beverages. We also give you some starter tea, coffee, sugar, etc. We even provide a beach cooler plus a water purifier to filter tap water. This helps with keeping plastic bottles out of our already overcrowded landfill. SPOILER ALERT: There is a new 6 story apartment building being built next door and it is slated to finish beginning of 2016. The crews start at 8am and finish at 4pm daily. There will be construction noise. To what extent we are not sure. If you can stand someone hammering or drilling or sawing in the distance, then we will give you the special special construction special. Our friends and family said they usually left for the beach early and returned after 4 most days anyway. One guest (a retired construction guy) loved to sit on the balcony and watch the 3rd world antics of island construction. He had some great stories to share!

    Pinehurst Apartment is a very private area it is located in the middle of Iron Shore 18 hole golf course, surrounded by Tropical plants and flowers, in a very nice gated community off the beaten path, but close to everything. This apartment complex is secure and surrounded with ten foot walls. The main gate is a monitored two way security-camera and a guard on duty. Kids can play freely around the complex while the adults lay out at the pool enjoying the hot sun. Also let's not forget about the state of art gym, for those looking to stay toned. This is one of my favorite places to unwind and tone up, the gym is it is well kept. And if you just rather catch a little sun in the privacy of your own yard you can. If you where to ask me, I would say it is a steal for the price so come and enjoy my property here in Jamaica. The supermarkets are a short drive off the mountain, five (5) minutes by car. If you want to grab a bite to eat, there is a choice of restaurant to choose from on a international cuisine level, from Indian, Italian, Jamaican, Thai, Chinese and let's not forget Burger King, all within five (5) minutes drive from the apartment. Also if you want the catch of the day, the fish market is right down the mountain, but you have to get there early to get the best. If you are looking to spend your day on a beach close to the apartment, there are many to chose from. A favorite is at the Coyaba Hotel. Also their breakfast is very affordable and delicious. I do recommend for your evening meal if you choose to go out, Mystic India. The food is absolutely gorgeous. The service is amazing, and I love there wine collection, this restaurant is located five (5) minutes drive from the apartment in Whittier Village. A very nice shopping center. Other close beaches, are Sandal resort, Holiday Inn, RIU and the top most exclusive, is Half Moon. I like this community because if I wanted to take a walk with my love one, it is safe, no worries.

But maybe you are thinking about venturing out a little further. Well, worry not because just down the North Shore Rd. (walk or drive) sits the coolest place and it is called Cane Bay Beach. A real hidden gem of a destination without crowds and lines, where you can feel comfortable hanging out by yourself or meet up with some interesting characters. The curve of a white, sandy beach invites you to lounge, swim, snorkel, scuba, and kayak. The infamous 'WALL' is a 13,000 foot drop about 300 feet offshore. For all of you divers this is a great destination. Hal and Suzanne of Cane Bay Dive Shop are located across from the beach and will set you up. Kayaks are available for rent also as is snorkel gear. Calvin, the owner of Sprat Net, a little bar/restaurant right on Cane Bay Beach will be happy to chat with you about the island but he always keeps his eye on his son, little Calvin, who dives into the surf after school. Calvin has all of those crazy rum drinks and also grills burgers for you right there on the beach. Across the road is Eat Cane Bay, a wonderful restaurant with food shots, local fish, eclectic specials and a wonderful wine list, as well as some very creative libations. Bartenders at EAT mix some potent island drinks. EAT has a weekly Sunday brunch with great, local reggae music. Down the road a bit further, is the place of 'sunset shot' fame, a little beach hangout and pizza place called Off The Wall. Everything is out in the open. Picnic tables sit in the sand, and the bar is a haven for the lucky ones who left the snow and winds and now call St. Croix home. Listen in on some tall tales as there are a few salty sailors and divers still around.
