INSIDE THE HOUSE
Park 3 cars on the street or in the driveway. Enter into a foyer with a loveseat and hardwood floors that flow into the dining room to your right, where a dining table seats 7. This room opens to the living room—relax on the love seats, pop in a movie on the 50” flat-screen TV, or hang out around the fireplace.
There’s room for every cook in the kitchen. Find granite counters, stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove/oven), and essential extras like a blender and toaster. Start your day with coffee at the kitchen bar with 2 barstools. Just off the kitchen, you’ll find a washer and dryer.
Through a sliding door is a landscaped backyard with BBQ grill and lounge chairs. Dine alfresco at the patio table or watch the kids play on the grass. Up the external staircase is the rooftop deck with peek-a-boo views of the ocean and fantastic views of San Diego—you can even catch the fireworks from SeaWorld.
Back inside, you’ll find a full bath with tiled tub/shower combo. Next door, the master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, ceiling fan and master en suite with dual vanities, a deep jetted tub and a walk-in shower.
On the other side of the house, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and bookcase. An adjacent small study offers a desk, chair and a closet.
In the 3rd bedroom, guests are treated to a queen bed, large closet and views of the backyard. The 4th bedroom also shares the view and comes with a queen bed and large closet. Both have ceiling fans to keep you cool.
Grab your swimsuit and drive 2 minutes to Mission Bay Park. With 4,600 acres, it's the largest aquatic park in the country. Swim and sunbathe on the beach and let the kids romp on the playgrounds. Explore miles of level bike and walking paths that traverse the shoreline to Bonita Cove, Mariner’s Point Park, and all the way down to Mission Point Park.
Pacific, Mission and Ocean Beaches are all within a 15-minute drive. Or take the day and discover Old Town (9 mins), which includes a protected historic park, authentic Mexican restaurants and museums where you can learn about the city’s history.
SeaWorld San Diego, with its marine creatures, shows and rides, is a 10-minute drive away. Or head to Belmont Park on Mission Beach (15 mins), an oceanfront amusement park with historic wooden rollercoaster.
In just 15 minutes you’ll be in downtown San Diego. Check out the USS Midway Museum, the Embarcadero, San Diego Bay and San Diego Zoo. You’ll also find Balboa Park, known for its zoo, scenic walks, museums, theaters and art galleries.
La Jolla (also 15 mins), offers upscale boutiques, art galleries and restaurants among a scenic setting with natural coves often frequented by sea lions. The vibrant downtown Gaslamp area boasts a world-class dining scene (15 mins).
And if that’s not enough, visit Coronado Island and explore stunning beaches, well-regarded eateries and historic Hotel Coronado (20 mins).
Plus, the airport is also 15 minutes away, so getting here is a breeze.
