    This brand new home custom is designed by a prominent San Francisco Interior Designer and a North Carolina architect, and situated on 4+ acres in one of the most distinguished Sonoma neighborhoods and on the grounds of the former Spreckels Estate.. Our 3BR+nook/3.5BA home looks east out over Sonoma Valley with stunning views of the Mayacamas Mountains to the east and the north. There are also beautiful views of Sonoma Mountain to the west. The grounds are spacious with a large lush lawn outside the loggia leading up to a covered/heated pool with a built-in spa. There is an outdoor dining area adjacent to the pool with views of the mountains to the North, and a path leading down from the lawn to a custom-built stone fire pit with views to the east and the south down the Valley of the Moon. We also have an outdoor ping-pong table and a large tree swing in the shade. The land is full of beautiful old oak trees and madrone trees that provide protection from the afternoon Sonoma sun. INSIDE THE HOUSE The central loggia has 14-foot wood ceilings, a fireplace, and 6 enormous French doors all of which open to give the house an indoor/outdoor feel. There is a large farmhouse dining table that seats 10 and a smaller round table with seating for 4. The kitchen features a huge marble covered island as well as Thermador range, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a drink fridge, a large walk-in pantry and a beautiful banquette facing a 60-inch TV and overlooking the pool and the mountains. The kitchen opens onto a large deck with ample seating and spectacular views. The kitchen wing also has a beautiful powder room and a bunkroom with two custom built wood bunks, a queen sized pull out sleeper sectional sofa, a 60-inch TV and a full bath. The south wing of the house includes a laundry room with washer/dryer, a guest room with two queen-sized beds an en-suite bath, and a spectacular master bedroom suite with a full king and a large master bath including a walk-in closet, separate water closet and an outdoor rain shower. The master also looks out over the mountains and down into a grove of Madrone trees and the pool. All bedrooms also have brand new beds/mattresses, down comforters, high thread-count linens and bathrobes. There is high speed internet and a built-in Sonos music system. The two TVs each have AppleTV with Netflix, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, and other premium channels included. Our home most often does not require heating or cooling, but there are three separate zones all controlled by Nest thermostats. This is the perfect spot for one or two families or a small group. We welcome children, but cannot accommodate pets or events. Parties are strictly forbidden. The pool will be heated to 82 degrees between May 1 - October 31. Please inquire if you would like it heated during the winter. Our 4BR/3BA home is comfortable for any group whether you are on a family vacation, a reunion, a romantic getaway, or are traveling with colleagues –our home has the perfect amount of privacy combined with unbeatable design. The main floor of our home has a large combined gourmet kitchen and family room, a separate formal dining room, living room and powder room. The upstairs has three bedrooms and two full baths: the master bedroom with king bed and attached master bathroom with a separate large soaking tub and shower; followed by a second bedroom with a twin bed; and a third bedroom with a queen. The second full bath has a tub/shower and is located off of the upstairs hallway. The downstairs is a large separate private suite with a king daybed, flat screen television and attached full bathroom with tub/shower. The downstairs suite has ample natural light and can be accessed either from inside on the main floor or via separate outside entrance for added privacy. Although the home itself is truly stunning, the location might be the best part. When traveling to San Francisco it is hard to find a great spot in the middle of all the action. At our home you can walk to Blue Fog Market to get your morning coffee and breakfast, take a stroll in Allyne Park next door, trek five blocks to famous, curvy Lombard Street, or venture just a mile east to Fisherman's Wharf for some chowder, people watching and ride the Cable Cars. One mile west is the historic Presidio Park, Disney Family Museum, Chrissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. The trendy boutique shops and restaurants of Union and Chestnut streets start only two blocks way. Giant's Stadium is just three miles away as is the historic Mission neighborhood.
