My only preference would be if the big TV was somewhere in that area so that it was easier to all watch TV together. Right now it's placed out of the way around a corner. Truly a winter paradise. Stunning 2 bedroom location with fantastic views and incredible ski-in/ski-out capabilities. Grab your skis or board, step outside, strap them on and off you go. Just a few minutes walk to the Tube Park, Skating Rink, Bowling Alley, Village. ** The Foxglove building is on a slope. Our unit is on the second floor, but it is ground floor to where the parking lot is, so you can park and walk straight into the unit. There are units on the floor below, and that is also where the ski lockers, laundry and hot tub is. Once you've been here you won't want to go anywhere else!

Our property is a spectacularly located and wonderfully comfortable 4-bed 4-bath home located right on the skiway halfway between the summits of Silver Queen and Silver Woods chairs. Our home is the trailside half of the duplex in our photos. Easy ski in/out access even with small children. Apres ski, you can be in the large hot tub a minute after gliding home. This is an amazing location, 5 minutes walk or a 1 minute gentle ski to the village, with frequent complimentary resort shuttle if needed. Nobody leaves Twin Peaks disappointed. You can see a large number of positive reviews also on our listing on VRBO. Silver Star's "My OnePass" includes great activities in addition to downhill skiing. The top of tube town is an easy 5 minute walk away, and the skating pond is a quick slide downhill from there, and both are free with your ski pass. Included in your pass is immediate access from our home to 55 km of world-class trackset nordic skiing at Silver Star accessible from the skiway at the door of the home. A dual area nordic pass expands the possibilities to include another 50 km of trails at the adjacent linked Sovereign Lakes nordic area. Summer here is amazing too. Downhill and cross country biking is literally out the door, and the lakes of the Okanagan Valley are 30 minutes away. Relax in cool mountain comfort after your day of summer fun. Ample ski storage is available at the house, and the outside storage shed is stocked with sleds for use just outside our door. There is also a nicely forested backyard a few steps off the hot tub deck for the young ones to explore. Inside is stocked with many books and games, and is equipped with cable TV and high speed internet. The living and dining space features a large dining table plus bar stools, and comfortable attractive living room seating. The living/dining room was renovated in 2022. See the photos for details. The kitchen is equipped with modern stainless appliances and granite counters, and is fully stocked for simple meals or gourmet enterprises. There is a large outdoor gas barbecue for guest use. Silver Star Mountain Resort is open from November to April for winter sports and July to September for hiking, biking, and wine and beer festivals. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from Vernon.

From the kitchen and living room, back deck and master bedroom areas the views are to the south over the Silver Queen Chair, Brewers Pond, Tube Town and the Creekside units. The views from the front are right up the slopes of the Alpine Meadows Chair and Attridge Face and Christmas Bowl runs. This is an older generation home with more of a "cabin" design than an executive home. It is clean, modern, extremely well stocked and enjoys one of the best locations on the mountain. Substantially renovated in 2004, 2011 and 2016, the home features quality cookware, leather furniture, keyless entry, private bar-b-cue, in unit laundry and much more. There is also a ski room off the den where you can get ready for your day and store all your gear. If you are traveling with young children, you can save on trunk space. Having 3.5 bathrooms was a plus for a group our size. The unit is nicely appointed with quality furnishings and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the ski in/ski out option although it wasn't initially the easiest to find skiing back, however, after doing it a couple of times, it was fine. The mud room / ski area was very well appointed and nice to be able to leave our skis down below with lots of boot trays to keep the place tidy too. The kitchen / pantry area has everything you need to stay in and cook. Thoughtful touches included a nice welcome note with a bottle of higher quality local wine, a box of chocolates, and coffee. This condo is a one bedroom and alcove (with a barn door for privacy), it's on the 2nd level of the Wildwood building in Creekside which has direct access to the parking lot for unloading your gear with ease. Can’t get any better ski in/out either – the Silver Queen chair is right in front of you. Bedroom Configuration: Bedroom One – Queen Bed (sleeps 2) Alcove with Barn Door – Double/Double Bunk Bed (sleeps 3) Living Room – Pullout Couch (sleeps 2) Although the condo can sleep 8, maximum occupancy is 7. For the summer and bike season, there is one hot tub open in the Creekside complex for all guests to use.
