From the kitchen and living room, back deck and master bedroom areas the views are to the south over the Silver Queen Chair, Brewers Pond, Tube Town and the Creekside units. The views from the front are right up the slopes of the Alpine Meadows Chair and Attridge Face and Christmas Bowl runs. This is an older generation home with more of a "cabin" design than an executive home. It is clean, modern, extremely well stocked and enjoys one of the best locations on the mountain. Substantially renovated in 2004, 2011 and 2016, the home features quality cookware, leather furniture, keyless entry, private bar-b-cue, in unit laundry and much more. It is very well equipped with internet and 3 -TVs and an Xbox. Location, amenities, and attention to detail make it one of the most desirable vacation homes on the mountain. This home lacks nothing and has lots of extras not found in homes priced much higher. The owners are very attentive and want to make your holiday experience pleasant enough that you will book this home again.

Welcome to your large, comfortable, home away from home, nestled among the evergreens of The Knoll in Silver Star Resort. We welcome guests from all over the world by offering a truly relaxing holiday environment with all the mod cons our guests expect. Truly ski in/ski out home via the Silver Queen Quad Chair with fabulous views of the mountain and chairlifts, easy access to nordic trails, snowshoeing and Tube Town and only a short walk or 3 minute shuttle bus ride from the main village. This is a spacious home offering 3 large double bedrooms (one en suite) in the main house and another double bedroom in the connecting downstairs suite. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with cozy bedding, plenty of storage and black out blinds to ensure restful sleep. Three living rooms allow plenty of space for larger groups and the main living room boasts a gas fireplace. The second living room can be converted easily to an additional bedroom and is adjacent to a bathroom. Two fully equipped kitchens make for easy catering, with 2 dining areas seating 10 and 6 people respectively. A total of four bathrooms ensure there are no long queues at busy times of day. Entertainment is provided via 3 flat screen, HDMI enabled TVs, a Blu Ray player and 2 DVD players. Free wi-fi is also on offer. We also have a selection of board games and books. Heated floors add a touch of comfort after a long day on the mountain and all rooms have individual thermostats. Fancy a dip in the private hot tub. It is conveniently located on the covered deck, 2 steps from the kitchen door, so you never need to clear away the snow. The deck also has a high end, large gas barbeque. There is parking for up to 6 cars on two driveways. Two spacious entryways provide both exterior secure ski lockers and interior storage for boots, helmets, jackets etc. We have guests who return year after year and we are more than happy to share their feedback on the house. Silver Star Mountain Resort is open from November to April for winter sports and July to September for hiking, biking, and wine and beer festivals. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from Vernon.

We have enhanced our cleaning procedures and relaxed our cancellation policies due to COVID-19. Cancellations due to the resort closing or not opening or due to travel restrictions such as border closures due to COVID-19 will receive a full refund. We are sure that your stay is going to be as safe as possible and have a rigorous plan in place. There are many layers of protection in place for our guests this season. These include- -changing all bedding including pillows, mattress protectors, duvets and duvet covers between bookings. -changing throw pillows and blankets between bookings -thoroughly sanitizing all surfaces -contactless check in -operating a large capacity HEPA filter between bookings for a minimum of 8 hours (note there is no shared air system between the suite and upstairs home). -upstairs home is used by owners and not rented. -masks will be worn at all times, and hand sanitizer regularly applied when cleaning. -hand sanitizer is supplied for your stay, at the entry and in the bathroom. -items such as tissues, toilet paper, and minimal pantry items are replaced with each booking. -board games have been removed but will be available on request, a list will be provided before arrival Our suite is best suited to 2 people or a family with 2 small children during the pandemic. Our unit is on the second floor, but it is ground floor to where the parking lot is, so you can park and walk straight into the unit. There are units on the floor below, and that is also where the ski lockers, laundry and hot tub is. Once you've been here you won't want to go anywhere else!

Our property is a spectacularly located and wonderfully comfortable 4-bed 4-bath home located right on the skiway halfway between the summits of Silver Queen and Silver Woods chairs. Our home is the trailside half of the duplex in our photos. Easy ski in/out access even with small children. Apres ski, you can be in the large hot tub a minute after gliding home. This is an amazing location, 5 minutes walk or a 1 minute gentle ski to the village, with frequent complimentary resort shuttle if needed. Nobody leaves Twin Peaks disappointed. You can see a large number of positive reviews also on our listing on VRBO. Silver Star's "My OnePass" includes great activities in addition to downhill skiing. The top of tube town is an easy 5 minute walk away, and the skating pond is a quick slide downhill from there, and both are free with your ski pass. Included in your pass is immediate access from our home to 55 km of world-class trackset nordic skiing at Silver Star accessible from the skiway at the door of the home. A dual area nordic pass expands the possibilities to include another 50 km of trails at the adjacent linked Sovereign Lakes nordic area. Summer here is amazing too. Downhill and cross country biking is literally out the door, and the lakes of the Okanagan Valley are 30 minutes away. Relax in cool mountain comfort after your day of summer fun. Ample ski storage is available at the house, and the outside storage shed is stocked with sleds for use just outside our door. There is also a nicely forested backyard a few steps off the hot tub deck for the young ones to explore. Inside is stocked with many books and games, and is equipped with cable TV and high speed internet. The living and dining space features a large dining table plus bar stools, and comfortable attractive living room seating. The living/dining room was renovated in 2022. See the photos for details. This is your ideal house for a great ski holiday. When you are not skiing you look out through the trees to the slopes - from the lounge room or the hot tub. Silverstar receives plenty of snow each year. We will have in place a contract to clear the snow after every 5cm fall from the driveway so you will good and safe access to the house.
