There are 3 spiral Staircases that lead to the roof deck both interior and exterior access. Our home has a Bertazzoni professional range, new Bosch dishwasher, 2 sinks in fully stocked kitchen, kuerig and traditional coffee maker, front-load washer/dryer, gas grill, and one Weber charcoal grill (Weber available upon request). We are located 12 miles east of San Diego within 1/4 mile from major freeways. Airport, beaches, Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, downtown are all near by. This is truly America’s finest city. Our one bedroom home with full bath is within the wooded area of Mount Helix. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, large closet with all amenities. This property is very private and quiet with beautiful surroundings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the garden or the early morning wildlife. Walk out onto the wrap around porch which over looks the pool and amazing views of the hillsides of Mount Helix. This one acre property also has a studio adjacent to the main house which is sometimes rented as a vacation rental as well (a max of 2 adults) I will most likely be on the property some of the time maintaining it, if so I stay in the private guest house. So at any given time there might be a max of 5 adults on my property. Ask at time of renting how many adults will be on property. When you come to sunny Mt. Helix you’ll enjoy the savings on your accommodations & see sunshine everyday. Be sure to visit the top of Mt. Helix for a 360 degree view of San Diego. Enjoy downtown La Mesa which is known as the 'Jewel of the Hills.' Near perfect climate, a quaint downtown village. Visit the Farmers' Market which is a tradition on Friday afternoons. The garage is not part of this rental however there are a view items in garage that are shared with guest renting main house only. I have an older cat that roams the property during the day & sleeps in the garage at night, I prefer guest who don’t mind cats. This is a no shoes home. The downstairs floor has the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, TV with cable and private bathroom. We even have a second entrance into our house on the bottom floor, which allows for our guests to come and go without inconveniencing others. Summerland is a classic California beach town, located just five miles south of Santa Barbara. We will allow an additional two people to sleep in the property. A maximum of 6 people may occupy the home at any time. An air mattress is available upon request to accommodate for an additional fee. No smoking is allowed inside any of our properties. Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
