The villa is located in Ranna 40 metres from the Kahandamodara beach with direct access on an acre of land. The Villa has three airy, large, high ceilinged rooms and is ideal for a group of 6 to 8 persons or for couples. There is a family suite with a king bed and two single beds if needed with ensuite and a separate shower and bath tub. An open indoor garden with a beautiful frangipani tree makes the villa unique and unforgettable and attracts bird life including peacocks that nest in the gardens. On a full moon night turtles may be seen swimming ashore to lay their eggs in the soft white sands that make this beach one of the best in the southern coast. Each king room has a sea view and a separate private terrace overlooking the pool and ocean. One goes to sleep here intoxicated with the pure air of the Indian ocean. Throughout the day the breezes of the sea and the sound of the waves uplift the soul and energise the body and mind. Guests will carry back fond memories of this paradise and experience joy and bliss like never before. The villa has a large pool and the gardens are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants. The management staff are committed to providing an unforgettable holiday for guests that stay at the villa. The two lady chefs take pride in preparing the most tasty dishes to suit the palates of adults and kids. Both local and western cuisine is on the menu at reasonable rates. Lunch and dinner is priced around USD 10 per person per meal with light lunch and snacks around USD 5-6 per plate. Breakfast is included in the room rates which include taxes. The villa is ideal families or groups not exceeding 8 persons, preferably 6 adults and two kids. There is an outdoor wood fired BBQ and guests are encouraged to cook their own meals with the assistance of the chef who will provide the supplies. The villa was originally built in 2012 but underwent a major refurbishment and upgrade in 2019 and is considered one of the best in the Tangalle and Ranna neighbourhood. We give priority to cleanliness, comfort, top quality service and value for money and is Covid 19 compliant. For nature lovers there are many sites and places to visit in the neighbourhood. The Kalametiya bird sanctuary is only a 20 minutes drive and boasts one of the best bird sanctuaries in Sri Lanka. A variety of local bird life abounds in the marshes and mangrove forests that surround the lake and boat trips are available through out the day. One day trips to two of the largest and most famous game reserves, namely Yala and Uda Walawe can be arranged where bear, elephant, leopard and deer can be sighted. The famous Bundala bird sanctuary is a 60 minute drive. Dolphin and whale watching is popular during the season in Mirissa and Dickwella and transport can be arranged to these locations for a day trip. There are a number of lakes and lagoons in the surrounds of the villa and boat rides and fishing can be undertaken. The staff can arrange transportation for these trips to th with a picnic lunch provided if pre ordered. Kahandamodara is a sleepy fishing village and early morning or sunrise the fishermen return to the shore with their day's catch and guests can join the fishermen in drawing their nets to the shore.

Arhimser Villa is a magnificent beachfront property located in Ranna, Tangalle on one of the best beaches in the Southern Province. The villa has four large bedrooms each over 40 sqm with ensuite and air-conditioning and fans, Each room has a private deck overlooking the ocean, pool and gardens. The lounge and dining areas overlook the beach which is 20 metres away from the villa. The villa has a staff of four including an excellent chef who prepares both western and local cuisine. Breakfast is included in the rates but lunch and dinner is available at USD 10 per meal and light meals and snacks and kids meals available at USD 6 per meal. We do not sell liquor or spirits but guests can bring their own supplies for consumption at the villa. The staff can arrange for local trips to many places of interest. The two largest game reserves in Sri Lanka, Yala and Udawalawe are a day trip where elephant, leopard, bear and other wild life can be sighted. Visits to the Bundala and Kalametiya Bird Sanctuaries as well as the Heritage City of Galle, dolphin and whale watching swimming in the bays and surf beaches can also be undertaken as one or half day trips. The beaches in Kahandamodara are untouched, pristine with white sands, dotted with tropical natives and palms stretching for miles. On a full moon night one may see the turtles coming to shore outside the villa to lay their eggs and peacocks and kingfishers relax in the shade of the frangipani. For sun seekers and beach lovers and wild life enthusiasts the location is paradise. There is an outdoor wood fired BBQ where guests can prepare their meals if they wish with the assistance of the chef who will a supply the fresh seafood, meats, veggies etc., at market prices. Any special requests for meals can be accommodated by the chef depending on availability. We do not sell liquor or spirits but guests can bring their own supplies or buy them from the local shops for consumption at the villa. The villa is for the exclusive use of the resident guests and outsiders are not allowed to visit the villa when in residence.
