Sunset Crest is in the southern end of the town of Holetown, the 2nd largest town in Barbados (after Bridgetown) and provides all of the advantages that being "in" town has to offer. The condo has one bedroom with a queen size bed and air-conditioning (bedroom only). There is in-house high speed internet/WiFi. There is also a private parking spot in front of the condo (for a rental car, guest parking, etc.). The condo is immediately next door to Sunset Mall that has a local bank, a large duty free store (Cave Sheppard), as well as other smaller shops. There is also a mini-mall across the street that has a convenience store and two different coffee shops (that offer free WiFi to customers) . Also, immediately across the street from the condo, there is a local food van that sells lunch from Monday to Friday during the week with local Barbados (Bajan) food such as chicken, pork, fish, etc., and has very reasonable prices that is a nice alternative from the more expensive restaurants in the area. A pay-as-you go local cell phone is made available for use by guests (use of phone is free, you are only responsible to keep your pay-as-you-go sim card topped up!) that will enable guests to make local and oversea calls (without incurring local roaming charges) and also to receive calls from family and friends from abroad and locally. The property is accessed by a secure gate which leads via a pathway to the front door and private garden with Bajan plants, shrubs and palms. The house is exquisitely furnished to a very high standard. The beautiful living room; with views out to sea, opens out to a spacious covered terrace ideal for outside dining and a chill out sofa area to sit in the shade of the terrace and relax. The shaded terrace leads out to an open decked terrace and private pool with sun loungers, umbrella and a BBQ with breathtaking views of the West Coast. The pool is accessed via steps and is 4’2’’in depth. Downstairs just off the hallway is a fully fitted kitchen fully equipped for everyones needs. It includes a fridge freezer with water and ice maker, separate wine cooler, coffee maker and toaster and kettle and oven/hob and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs with a double bed and air conditioning looking out onto the private gardens. Directly opposite is a shower room with a walk in shower, basin and toilet. As you go upstairs, there are three bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms. Bedroom one is the master bedroom with a super king bed and shutter doors which lead out onto a covered terrace where you can sit in the evening and watch the beautiful sunset. There is a relaxing sofa and coffee table and chairs where you can sit in the morning with and enjoy breakfast with the magnificent sea views. Bedroom one also has a small safe for all valuables. Bedroom two has a king size bed and en suite shower room. The third bedroom also has a king size bed and en-suite shower room and over looks the private gardens at the front of the house. All laundry and beach towels are provided and there is a maid who services the house every few days. Alleynes Bay is a two minute drive from the house; or five to ten minutes walk, where you will find the famous Lonestar Restaurant as well as a small number of local beach bars on the beach. You can rent sun beds on the beach or just sit and relax at the tables of the beach bars and enjoy a morning coffee or rum sour for a sundowner. You can also hire jet skis or go water skiing or wake boarding or enjoy glass bottom boat trips. Holetown is a five minute drive/bus journey away where you will find everything you need for shopping, food and any other amenities. There are numerous bars and restaurants and a large supermarket along with various exclusive shops and cinema in Lime Grove shopping centre or various little boutiques in the beautiful Chattel village. -
