There is an open plan kitchen and family room with a dining area and breakfast bar and two sets of sliding glass doors that allow you to bring the Caribbean Sea into your home! Beyond the sliding glass doors is a wonderful over sized deck with seating for at least 8 people. The views are wonderful, overlooking the pool you can see the ocean through the gap between buildings 1 and 2. The whole unit has beautiful Belizean hardwood ceilings throughout. There is a flatscreen TV in the living room and the kitchen is fully stocked with all you should need and yes there is a Blender!! We have washer/dryer in the units and a safe for valuables. The bathrooms are all stocked with plush bath and hand towels as well as wash cloths and beach towels. The beds all have 500 thread count sheets and each of the 3 bedrooms are set up with a King in one bedroom while two bedrooms upstairs are set up with two single beds in each that can be turned into two King beds on request. WiFi is free, secure and throughout all the buildings. There is Air Conditioning in every room however the breeze from the ocean is more than sufficient to keep you cool so we ask that you open the doors and windows and keep our electric bills at a minimum so we can continue to offer you the best prices possible! The pool is a great size and there are Loungers with padded cushions for you to relax on, the pool is 5 feet deep. In addition we have a beach area with 2 palapas from which extends a 250 foot long dock with a large swim and sunbathing platform at the end and a huge shady palapa. Our previous properties have proven that the dock is our guests favorite place to hang out although the size of the new pool and deck may compete for attention!! We have a an onsite husband and wife management team. We also have maintenance staff as well as night security so the property is secure 24 hours a day. We rent island bikes for $5 US per day and paddle boards too! We have toddler carriers and pack n play for the little ones.

There are Hammocks under the Palapa as well as chairs for total relaxation. You will have incredible views of the Caribbean Ocean, the reef, and views of the ocean on the opposite Leeward side of the island too! The beach area is one of only a few on the island. Our small private enclave decided to build a swimming dock/platform for your morning/afternoon most enjoyable dip in the sea. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch the reef break just offshore. Underwater tropical fish are a daily event at the dock. If you are traveling on your own boat, you may reserve a spot at your dock if staying in the enclave. The pool is 33'x15' wide with a Belizian hardwood wrap around deck. There are several chaise lounge chairs with cushions to sit by the pool and relax to recharge your batteries for your next adventure. The pool is shared with our 2 homes. Beautiful new in 2016 water front home with private beach, dock and a pool shared with the guests only staying in our 4 units. This ground floor home has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and opens into a beautiful Palm Grove garden and is 200 ft to the sea.. Added in 2016 to our other 3 properties Laura's Lookout, Barbara's Beach House and Sandy's Secret which are all located in our private Palmetto Beach Resort enclave. This really beautiful addition is spacious and can actually accommodate 4 guests with a futon in the living room. You can have t he King bed separated into two twins if you request it.We built the bathroom so that it can be entered both through the bedroom and separately from the living room for privacy at night. This property is located underneath Barbara's Beach House, having had so much success with Sandy's and Laura's lay out way we decided to build underneath Barbara's. With large bright windows and French doors opening out onto a Palapa covered deck you enjoy a beautiful Palm Grove which is lit up at night. The open area under the Palms is ideal for Barbecuing and hanging out, Michael even has an out door dart board set up with lights that you can use, just remember your darts! We have a pool shared with our other guests however the best feature we have found is the huge dock we built running some 300 feet out to sea with sunbathing pods built off the sides as well a huge swimming deck at the end and a large Palapa to shade you from the sun. We built a beach which you can hang out on too with a Volley Ball Court if you're into that! The whole dock, beach and poolside decks are covered with chaise lounges complete with comfortable mattresses. We have staff on site throughout the day and a Security guard on hand at night to ensure your safety. Our onsite office hours are 9:00pm - 5:00pm, so that someone is always on hand to help with your needs. You have easy access to the Beach Road, which will take you right into the center of town by either a 5-10 minute bike ride, or a 10- 15 minute walk, but the location remains quiet and secluded; a bit of the Caye Caulker of old!!! Michael can rent you bikes at $5 a day or arrange for a golf cart if you feel the need, personally I feel bikes are by far the best way to get around depending on your age!!

Completed in 2014 Laura's Lookout is a beach front property located on South Caye Caulker, north of the islands airstrip. Conveniently located only a short 5 minute bike ride or a 10 minute walk to the downtown area, the house and it's surrounding area retain the unspoiled, quiet nature Caye Caulker is known for. The interior layout is perfect for either a family or group of friends, with two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath downstairs and a more private Master suite upstairs, with two twin beds that convert into king bed if you would prefer, again with it's own full bath. The sheets are 400 thread count, and the towels plentiful, thick and lush. If needed, there are additional mattresses for singles who would prefer not to share beds. Additionally, air conditioning is provided for each room, with it's own separate controls for each room.The living area features an open floor plan that includes a newly modern kitchen with a full appliance range and extra drinks fridge, a washing machine area for your use, a dining area and lounge area with flat screen TV; a movie library and wi-fi are included. Built by a nearby Mennonite community, the workmanship is exceptional: quality hand crafted wood floors, ceilings and furniture that evoke the hard wood forests Belize is known for. Perhaps, however, one of the many great features of the house would be the full length, private front deck off the living area. Commanding unbelievable views of the sea and nearby (less than a mile away),world famous reef , it is truly breathtaking and not to be missed. It is only accessible through a door off the kitchen, ensuring privacy for all, with two Belizean woven hammocks for afternoon naps. As you leave the house down a short flight of stairs, you first encounter the 35 x 15 foot private outdoor pool, available only to guests, complete with rafts, sunken into a wood deck that respects the palm trees that were there before and many chaises for sunbathing. Turning the corner to your right around the house, you encounter the man made beach area, jutting 50 feet into the sea, which converts to a volleyball court when needed, but also provides another area in which to relax and enjoy the sun. Finally, just beyond the beach area, you come upon the 300 foot dock which has just recently been expanded. With three separate entrances to the water below, there is room to dock your boat (if you have one!!), 6 pods extending outward for more room and a palapa at the end of the dock if you require shade. Covered with chaise lounges, you would be hard pressed to find a better place on Caye Caulker to just sit and relax, or watch the incredible sunsets. Laura'a Lookout has also been fully designed with safety in mind. Featuring protection on all first level windows, there is only one entrance to the house, accessible from the pool deck, away from public paths. Additionally, we have an on site, 24 hour security guard. During the day, our office hours are 9:00-5:00, so that someone is always on hand to help with your needs. A few recommendations: Snorkeling, Deep Sea Fishing or Shark Alley: Carlos Tours, who is a longtime resident of Caye Caulker. He can take large groups and/or customize a day excursion for you. He will meet you right at the dock. Dining: Rosie's, for fresh fish caught that morning; The Pasta Factory, for fresh pastas made daily, The Rainbow Restaurant, something for everyone; Caye Caulker Pizza, excellent for the kids or a light meal; Il Pellicano, more expensive, but terrific Italian food with a Caribbean flair; Habanero's is arguably the best food on the island but not as cheap as many other options such as Syd's, for traditional Belizean fare; The Caye Caulker Bakery, for some of the best, fresh daily cinnamon rolls you have ever had! Don't Miss: The Split, located at the North End of the island. The upstairs master suite features a spacious air-conditioned great room with soaring ceilings. It is tastefully decorated with an earthy Mayan theme in rich jewel tones with comfortable rattan furniture and locally carved mahogany tables. The beautifully designed, fully-equipped kitchen has a dining and breakfast bar area that seats up to 10. There is plenty of room for the whole gang to gather. The master bedroom with a king bed has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into two twins for versatility. There is also a second full bathroom in the upstairs unit. The downstairs suite features a fully equipped kitchen, a living area, two bedrooms featuring split kings for vesatiloity and a bathroom. The dining table, along with the breakfast bar, provides seating for seven. All towels, linens, iron/ironing board, and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience. A washer/dryer is also available for use with a 7-night stay or longer. Enjoy direct access to the beach right out the door.
