    The house is situated at the bottom of Sunburst Drive with 2 parking spaces. The parking is kept clear by Sun Peaks Property Services, as are the stairs down to the suite, which has its own entrance. We are usually present over the winter season, but if we are not around, Property Services can provide help. A short walk up the road (300m) will put you on Connector and access to resort's main ski lifts. If this is too much for the kids, a short drive will put you at one of the main car parks. You can return to within 50m of the house getting to Connector via Blazer, Runaway or Tighten Yer Boots. The suite is SE facing with big windows, high ceilings and receives sun for the majority of the day. The door in the living room provides access to a large flat backyard - great snowman and igloo territory. We occasionally see deer in the backyard. The kitchen has a full sized stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. We provide everything you need to cater for your family. There are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, mirror and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a whister bunk (double, single), single bed, nightstand, dresser, mirror and wardrobe. There is a queen hide abed in the living area for maximum flexibility with sleeping arrangements. Although we max out with 6 renters, there are beds and bedding for 8. The bathroom has a combination shower/tub, vanity, dedicated hot water and a plentiful supply of towels. The hot tub is by the door to the apartment. Hot tub is listed as shared with one other property which is the owners. There are some flip flops and beach towels for your use. The living room allows you to kick back and relax whilst can watch the kids play in the ample backyard. The suite has everything you need to relax at home and is convenient for the village if you wish to venture out. This is a fabulous family location Summer and Winter.

Both the 'suite' and the 'main house' have fully-equipped kitchens, fireplaces, access to the hot tub and large garage. Access from the main house to the suite is either outside (under the deck) next to the hot tub or from the garage. There's a bose bluetooth speaker system if you'd like to play some tunes, netflix already set up, and there are usb wall chargers in the bedrooms so if you forgot to pack yours, no worries. After a day on the slopes, there are so many ways you can undwind and relax - bask in your private hot tub, cool off in the two person steam shower, cozy up next to the fire in bathrobes provided for your use, or say "namaste" and do some yoga on the mats, with foam rollers for muscle release. For the Morrisey Express, there are a variety of runs that lead back to the base of the hill and from there it's either a short walk back to Stone's Throw, or hit the Orient and follow ski-in that way. The 16th hole of the Sun Peaks Golf Course runs alongside the complex, with some units even having a beautiful view of the green. In the winter this becomes part of the Hasta La Vista run which will also lead you back to the Orient. The next closest complexes are Settler's Crossing right beside, and just past that is the new Echo Landing. Under construction is the new Elevation complex which will be behind and above Stone's Throw. There is an underground parkade with an entrance under the higher numbered units. From an upright beam in the living room with a raccoon family carved in to it, to a kitchen decorated with retro kitsch while still having upscale features like a hidden wall fridge and two separate ovens, every bedroom having an ensuite bathroom, and a huge wraparound patio in the backyard with a covered hot tub, no matter where you are in this home you will feel a sense of luxury. If you'd prefer a bit more privacy, there are black-out blinds in most of the home. If you're a group that loves to cook or entertain, Fairways Lodge is definitely the ideal spot for you. Also on the main level are the master bedroom and second bedroom. The master bedroom is practically the definition of a romantic getaway. It features a king bed, romantic lighting, a large closet, and a privacy screen separating the other side of the room that hosts a large clawfoot bathtub and vanity area, and the entrance to the separate shower bathroom. The second bedroom features two double beds, a large dresser, and access to an ensuite shower room with a large vanity area that leads in to a separate toilet room (which can also be accessed from a separate entrance off of the hallway). If you follow along the nautical-themed hallway just off of the bedrooms you'll have access to the large patio in the backyard where you can enjoy your private use hot tub. The hot tub is under a large open-wall tent so you can enjoy the tub even if it's raining or snowing. You can also enjoy the view of your ski-in path from Mt Morrisey which is a nice grassy area in the spring and summer. The patio wraps around the side of the house where your barbeque is homed, and has another separate entrance if you want to head directly back to the living area. The top level of this home has a nice loft and reading nook area with ample seating and a live-edge wood table, as well as access to the third and fourth bedrooms. Both of the upstairs bedrooms each have a king bed and a set of bunkbeds, as well an ensuite shower bathroom. The bottom level of this home features the den, which is a great entertaining spot, a large open area with 5 reclining chairs and a dartboard - if the teens in your group want a bit of separation they can use this as a hangout room, but then again the adults might want to call dibs. Fairways Drive stretches from just below the village to just before the base of Burfield, so walking to the village could be anywhere from a 3-to-20 minute walk to the main village depending on where on Fairways you are. If you're closer to the Burfield end it will be a shorter walk but closer to the village you may want to catch a ride on the shuttle that the resort operates during the winter. On the ground level of the building is Powder Hounds restaurant, famous for their take on German schnitzel dishes, as well as 5forty Cafe which is a local's hotspot, and Creekside Critters, a pet supplies store. The building has an underground parkade as well as a ski locker room and outdoor private hot tub area. Right across from the building is the Play Area which in the summer has a picnic table, cornhole (AKA beanbag toss), table tennis, a giant chess set/checkerboard and occasionally giant Connect-4. Take a look and see which game of the day interests you most. If you exit from the top of the village you can follow the valley trail over to the Sports Complex, which features the ice skating rink (which doubles as a basketball court in the summer), a swimming pool, tennis courts, a soccer field and children's playground.
