Newly constructed and completed in 2008, Elkhorn Springs Restaurant features the finest commercial cooking equipment, 800 square foot steel patina wood burning fireplace, beautiful décor, and much more. One of the largest venues of its kind in the Valley, it is conveniently located with ample parking and beautiful surroundings. It is 5000 square feet (capacity 286) plus 2350 square feet of deck space. Activities: The Elkhorn Chair is just steps away; ride it to the Dollar Mountain Ski Area – featuring a stunning, $13 million lodge renovation and the Snow Park Technologies-designed Dollar Mountain Terrain Park. Currently there are 5 lifts on Dollar Mountain: 2 Quads, 1 Triple, 1 Double and 1 Magic Carpet. Summertime: there is a shared outdoor pool, hot tub & tennis courts within a 2 minute walk, as is the Elkhorn Valley Golf Club. Originally opened in 1974, Elkhorn Golf Club was created in the last collaboration between the famous design team of father and son Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior. After an extensive renovation in 2004, the club reopened as a private club in 2005 and was acquired by the Sun Valley Company in July of 2011. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the front nine, which is quite hilly, while Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the back nine which follows a creek and has a water hazard on every hole but one. Although the Elkhorn Golf Club is still considered a semi-private club, guests have access to one of the best challenges of golf that the state of Idaho has to offer. The clubhouse is 16,000 square feet and includes a restaurant and bar. The shuttle system stops at Elkhorn Springs, and it provides free transportation throughout the Wood River Valley, including continuous round trips from the Village to both Dollar & Bald Mountains & to the town of Ketchum & Elkhorn Springs. Hot Tub for Complex: The outdoor hot tub is open all year long. Winter hours apply to the Clubhouse entrance, however; please check with the Clubhouse when you arrive. Distances: Elkhorn Chair, to Dollar Mountain Ski area, is just step away. Bald Mountain is only a 10 minute drive away. The Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center is at the Sun Valley Lodge, less than a 10 minute drive away. The Sun Valley Pavilion is one of the most beautiful places in the Wood River Valley to see a concert and the music genres range from full symphony orchestra, to rock n' roll, to country, to pop, to opera, and is a 5 minute drive away. Elkhorn Golf Course Clubhouse is 5 minute walk, or less.

Evening walks in 14 acres of private forest, deck sitting, riding the Sea cycle, fishing from the pontoon boat, paddle boat, 3 kayaks, 3 stand-up paddle boards or 17 ft 3 person canoe , or a skinny dip are great ways to round out the day and then sleep like a baby in the awesome quietness that only the lake and forest can provide. Enjoy super fishing off the dock or with the Sea cycle or the pontoon boat. There have been consistent catches of 14-16 inch Kokanee (Landlocked sockeye salmon), trout, bass, northern pike and crappie.
