It is less than a mile to the main road but it seems a world away with peace and quiet you can only dream of. This part of the Tiber Valley is right in the middle of the Italian peninsula; in Tuscany, but borders on the counties of Umbria, Marche and Romagna, regions with varied characters which at different times have influenced its history, culture and landscape leaving marks which can still be felt today. It is an area which is between the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic seas. It has a complex story, as it is not only the valley where the river Tiber has its source, a river which has shaped the fertile plain for thousands of years; but it is also mountainous. Actually it is more mountainous than flat, but even in this case it is impossible to give a unanimous definition to the hills and mountains of this area.

This farm is located in the heart of the region of Chianti Classico near Greve, looking out over Montefioralle, a splendid medieval village, in an untouched natural setting. It is on the top of a hill (1400 feet above sea level) with a magnificent 360 °view This tiny little cottage apart form the rest of the cluster, located on the top of the hill overlaying the swimming-pool with a magnificent 360° view. The apartment consists in one single room with a small living area with fireplace, a kitchenette and a double bed and a bathroom. A solar panel, respecting the environment, provides the apartment with the necessary energy and hot water.
