Fun week in San Pedro My college-aged son and I enjoyed a week at Coral Bay Villas in mid-May of 2023. It was our first visit to Belize and we had a blast, mostly snorkeling and relaxing. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. Our villa was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We borrowed their 2-person kayak to snorkel the reef right out from property, which worked out well. The location is great, but highly recommend a golf cart to get around San Pedro. The only downside was the rather loud and incessant construction going on pretty much all day at the house next door (north side). I suppose once that’s done it won’t be a problem. Coral Bay Villa The unit was as advertised. The pool was great. Noise from the construction next door was irritating every day we were there, but this was out of the control of the management. So we made sure we were gone from 7am until 4pm. Simon the manager was as helful as he could to deal with the noise. We'd give the unit a 5 star if the construction was not occuring. We know this problem was out of the control of the management but none the less it was not as peaceful as we would have like it to be. Wonderful Condo on beautiful beach We loved this condo w/ 2 bedrooms. We were 2 couples and the biggest difference to the master was that the bath was en suite while the 2nd bedroom it was in the hallway. Freddy, who was always around, was great and very helpful! Even better then expected! Our lodging at Coral Bay was absolutely perfect! It was super clean,comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Lovely villa Great villa with beautiful ocean view. The staff and Freddie there are very helpful and the villa is just a 20 min walk from the very hectic town centre so is nice and quiet. Great stay, great Caye Four of us stayed at Coral Bay for a week. It was just as we hoped it would be – clean, comfortable, waterfront and staffed by lovely people. The pool / hot tub area is really nice and we used it every day. Coral Bay’s location does have pros and cons. If you were to stay in central San Pedro, be aware it is busy. If you are staying at Coral Bay, you will more than likely need or want a rented golf cart. We rented a cart and, in the end, did not regret choosing Coral Bay at all. Peaceful, secluded with magnificent views of the warm, clear turquoise waters extending out to the Belize Barrier Reef, you’ll discover the true joy of laid back island life in one of these comfortable beachfront suites. Coral Bay Villas is all about the barefoot Caribbean lifestyle, surrounded by tall coconut trees, gently waving in the breeze over the private beach area, pool and Jacuzzi, this spot is ideal for couples looking for a tranquil paradise escape. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, south of San Pedro Town, it’s probably one of the most perfectly positioned properties on the island. Just a short stroll or cycle away, you’ll find a supermarket, excellent restaurants, and some great authentically Belizean street food options too. If you are looking for cocktails or a more upmarket restaurant, take a barefoot wander down the beach and check out the nearby resorts and beach bars along the way.

The Eagle Ray Suite is the only two-bedroom suite at Coral Bay Villas. The suite features a large open concept kitchen, dining room, and living area. The expansive balcony overlooks the sea and offers spectacular sunrise views. Open the doors and windows and enjoy cool comfortable breezes day and night. If you want to do some cooking, you will have a fully equipped kitchen stocked with basic condiments. For your comfort, the bedrooms and living area are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout. For your enjoyment, there is a TV with over 100 channels and complimentary WiFi.

Housekeeping services are available every other day for a nominal fee of $22.50USD per cleaning if arranged prior to your arrival. Of course, you can request fresh linens at any time, and we provide a generous supply of bath/beach towels.

As you relax into the island vibe, there’s no doubt you’ll want to get out onto the water. Book a fishing trip, go on a sunset cruise, snorkel with sharks and rays or just spend a day sailing from island to island with a sumptuous beach BBQ set up just for you. Scuba enthusiasts can visit the numerous pristine diving sites along the reef, outer atolls, and even experience the famous Blue Hole. While you’re in Belize, don’t miss the chance to have a jungle adventure on the mainland. Float down a river while parrots fly overhead and toucans look down at you from their perches or visit one of the ancient Maya sites, where you can hear the roar of howler monkeys in the distance.

Everyone loves exploring the island on a golf cart, so you’ll want to set a day aside to visit San Pedro Town, experience some local culture, check out the natural beauty on the north of the Caye and, if you want to find Secret Beach, just follow the signs. If you don’t want to think about shopping, we recommend arranging basic provisioning for your arrival through the Guest Guide. Your suite will be stocked with drinking water, bath/beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and cleaning supplies. We also provide keyed lock boxes for your valuables.
