Shuswap lake is a 1 minute walk from the property. The sand and rocks beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is a private dock.
the lake is across the road from the cabin. The water in very clean. Great for swimming and water activities. The beach is somewhat rocky but nothing a pair of sandals wouldn't cure. You can certainly lay out on the beach.
Ski/Board Out is a 60 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot.
Many ski slopes all around the area.

The pictures need to be updated on this site - they have done several renovations to the place and the pictures don't do it justice. There were plenty of board games for the kids for the one rainy day we had, and they really loved the loft bedroom. Everything was functional, clean, and well kept.

The house is located across a small road to the rocky beach with a private dock. We built a rock fire pit and had a beach fire/weenie roast at night which was really fun. My only complaint was that drivers really need to slow down on that road! Wow! It's narrow and twisty and drivers are just nuts flying by on it. Not really the owners fault, but just warning you to definitely look both ways and walk on the beach rather than the road.

We had a wonderful week with our family, the grandchildren particularly enjoyed the lake and hated to leave. The cabin had everything we could ask for, all the dishes and appliances. The rooms are neat and well cared for. The children took over the loft as their own. Being without internet and TV was a treat, the place is well stocked with board games and books.

Four of us stayed at this Cabin @ Blind Bay. We got full co operation from the owner. She was very pleasant & answered all our questions rather quickly. When we arrived we relaxed in the very clean & roomy Cabin. Everything we needed was there. It was well stocked. The place was right across from the lake with a great view. The store was close by & was stocked with everything from food, to gifts, snacks & BOOZE. We would definitely stay here again. Such a restful few days, we just loved it there. Thank You.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was supplied and then some - very clean, quite location.

Cabin was perfectly located on the Bay. Everything one would have needed was supplied. Beach was close, clean and not crowded at all. Well stocked Grocery/Liquor store up the road was very convenient. One week was a little short.

Welcome to the beautiful Shuswap!! This property has been in our family since the 1950s. Our cabin is new and freshly painted. It has a 'homey' charm that you are sure to enjoy. It is located less than 10 minutes off the TCH, (Trans Canada Highway) making it very easy to get to.
The cabin sits nestled in the trees with a quick walk to the beach and dock only seconds away. Everything you need is here, just bring your own personal belongings and what you would like to eat and you are set. Our cabin is accessible to many amenities in the Shuswap area, making outings for the day a snap.
Enjoy a leisurely day in the cabin by the wood burning stove, a barbeque on the deck or a relaxing day down at the beach. We have a West facing exposure to the Shuswap Lake ensuring a continuous day in the sun.
