#204 Cartwright Ifyou look at my history you know I enjoy staying at that location! But this time not so much!Place had dirt on patio,under sofa, saw a couple roachs,could not open or lock patio door. Rington saved my trip! Items in place were broken, No instruction book on TV.. Parking lot is a mess! 2 cars in one spot! a 3/4 ton truck in space behind me. Needs inspection after the cleaning crew is there!Was not ready to rent!A quick inspection and all could have been avoided! It should not cost customers their vacation time to get repairs done!Put the intro binders back in room so people don't have to spend hours to figure out the cable Tv system! Clean place It’s perfect for my family. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and easy check in and out. The owner welcomed us. Will defenitely stay there again. Waikiki Stay cute place; clean and had what we needed. There was a homeless guy who apparently is a regular here and I did find him opening my laundry. He was harmless enough (guess he didn't like our clothes enough to take anything). Good location, convenient, good value. Just right for our family This condo was perfect for our family of 3. The free parking and kitchenette with stove and refrigerator were great for our vacation on a budget. We were able to make breakfasts there, while we ate out and explored the island for the rest of our meals. The parking space is small. So consider that if choosing a rental vehicle. The condo itself isn't super modern, but it was clean and comfortable. Loved that the location is tucked away, but still within walking distance to most things in Waikiki. Plus the food trucks outside were really good for a quick bite! The rental company was quick to respond and gave good instructions for check in/check out. Would stay there again. Just enough space for 2 My son and I loved our stay at the Cabana at Waikiki. It was just enough room for both of us. The unit had all the cooking utensils and cleaning items we needed throughout the week. There are a couple of food trucks parked out front if you decide you don't want to cook. The ABC store is around the corner and has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

Insect trail but otherwise good location and clean Location was perfect since it was right along Waikiki beach. The accommodations were clean and I appreciated that a vacuum was also provided for the sand that we ended up tracking in every day. The only gripe we have was with the way the insect trail/infestation was handled. The first night we noticed 5-10 little ant-like insects (we think they may be termites) crawling from the window of the bathroom to the sink/cabinet area. We called and left messages for management multiple times over the next 12 hours before they called back and left a voicemail, saying they were gonna give us a can of bug spray. We ended up spraying the area when we got back and then had an infestation the next day...what started out as 5-10 insects grew to become 50-100. Seeing as our vacation was almost over and the insects weren't actually ON our belongings, we left it alone but it was still unsettling to have a ton of insects swarming the bathroom walls (we also have a video if VRBO was interested in reviewing it).

Close to the beach!! We had a very nice time and stay. The property is only two short blocks away from the beach. There’s also food trucks at the end of the block and an ABC store at the corner. Things to note: #1 there’s no elevator. The room is located on the second floor but the stairs aren’t too steep and the room is located right when you get to the top of the stairs. #2 it can be noisy at night due to people walking up and down the street but we didn’t mind it at all. #3 it does come with parking (huge plus) but any car/truck bigger than midsize might be hard to get in and out of the parking garage. #there are washers/dryers downstairs. Make sure you have quarters and laundry detergent. #4 there was no hand soap. Only a small bar of soap. I ended up buying hand soap from the ABC biggie! Just wish I would have known ahead of time. Other than that, our stay was great! We walked to the beach every day and ate at the food trucks!! I met the owner of the building a couple of times and he was super friendly. I would definitely book this rental again.

Great Stay! We have stayed at this location several times and this unit before! It felt like coming home to our own place, this time we did not do any cooking but it is nice to have a stove a refrigerator just in case! Thx U! for a Great Stay! Met the owner had great visit! You get what you pay for It was clean, having a kitchen was helpful especially since everything everywhere is full of people it’s nice to take your meal back to the room and eat in peace. The only bad thing about this place was the parking. Yes it’s free but you’re spot is designated or you get towed. We’ll we came back everyday from our activities to a different car parked in our spot, no person to report it to and no idea what to do besides park in someone else’s stall and get them mad. It’s was frustrating!

Good location if you want to be in the centre of the action The property managers were very helpful and responsive! We did not have any issues with checking in or out. We also met the owner and he was a very nice and funny! <br/>The location of the property is ideal for those who wants to be in the middle of an action. The beach and all shops, restaurants, and entertainment is right behind the corner. We picked this location because it was convenient to get to a bunch of great hikes next to Honolulu. <br/>The place is clean and has pretty much everything you need, plus working AC which is so needed! The kitchen is not huge but has all essentials. Oh and parking! Finding a place with a parking was pretty much impossible so we were very happy to have one.<br/>We were only missing beach chairs which would&#x2019;ve been great to have.<br/>

Fair Decent place to stay. Good thing we only slept there at night and didn&#x2019;t spend much time there. There is construction going on at the condo next-door and cockroaches in our unit Response from Alii Beach Rentals ; Wednesday, October 10, 2018 When one comes to Hawaii, we agree, they should be outside!! Amazing apartment in the center of Waikiki This place is totally amazing. Perfect location, close to everything. 5 min walk to the beach and center Waikiki. The place has everything you may need and is very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed staying there and I totally recommended it!

Great location and great value! The condo was pretty much as described. The kitchen is very basic, pretty funky, but clean. One burner on the stove did not work. The bathroom was clean, and loads of towels. The "view" from the small balcony was of the neighbors junky side yard. We just kept the curtain closed. The main bed was very comfortable. The futon bed in the main room was OK. Excellent and fast WiFi, good TV. The best aspect of this property is the location. One block from the beach and right on the edge of the large shopping district. Close to many great reataurants and bars. Also, the unit includes parking which is HUGE in this part of Honolulu Communicaion with Alii beach rentals before hand was good. Was never able to reach themn by phone once we got there, although we really did not need anything. I would definitely stay here again, but would check out a different unit. My Happy Place in Waikiki This is my happy place in Waikiki. I have stayed at Cabana Waikiki twice before, and it will be my first choice when I come back to Honolulu. For me, it is the ideal location in Waikiki. The apartment is light and breezy and quiet. We would work remotely in the mornings (quiet, good WiFi). We did not use the AC at all. Instead, we would open the windows in front and the lanai door and enjoy the breeze provided by the trade winds and the ceiling fan. True, there is not an grand view from the lanai, but there is enough green to make it feel cozy. And it is secluded enough that we were comfortable sleeping with the lanai door open to the breezes.<br/><br/>There is a Biki Bike (bike rental) stand at the end of the block. Safeway and Foodland are short rides away, making it easy to cook for ourselves. On Saturday mornings there is a farmer's market at the elementary school a block away. Kapiolani Park and the beach are a very short walk (two streets) away. <br/><br/>The apartment was clean and well maintained. The management is very responsive and friendly. This is the third unit I have stayed in, and each unit has matched its description and photos.<br/><br/>Recommendations:<br/>Biki Bike. Get the app. Rentals are inexpensive and there are stations all over Honolulu. We did not rent a car the week we were in Honolulu.<br/><br/>Lulu's Restaurant. Right around the corner on Kalakaua Ave., across from the beach. Reasonable prices and an open view to the ocean.<br/><br/>Leonard's. World famous malasadas (Portuguese fried donuts) On Kapahulu across from Safeway.<br/><br/>Kaimana Farm Cafe & Deli. On Kapahulu across from Safeway. Small, local cafe. Good, local food at good prices.<br/><br/>Mami's Empanada stand. At the end of Cartwright St., mere meters from Cabana Waikiki. Excellent empanadas and prices. Open at lunch and in the evenings. Great stay in Hawaii! Condo location was perfect &#x2013; if you are looking for a nice view there isn&#x2019;t one but on the positive side, it&#x2019;s only a 5 minute walk to get to Waikiki Beach! We loved our stay.<br/><br/>Check in/out instructions were simple and easy to follow. Condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable!<br/><br/>Everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one was found in the condo. The only thing we might suggest is providing dish towels. Unfortunately, no beach chairs were available for our use during our stay and the beach umbrella on site was broken and could not be used. We purchased a new one during our stay and left it for future guests.<br/><br/>We would definitely return! Lovely.... Comfortable, quiet old-school Waikiki We have stayed at The Cabana many times over the years and continue to seek it out. We love the location at the end of Waikiki right at Kapiolani Park by the zoo. Near clubs, bars, restaurants, etc if that's what you want, but quieter and easy to stay out of the crowds if that's more your thing. Spacious (a junior one-bedroom), it's great to have a full kitchen, especially when staying a couple of weeks as we did. We chose this unit as it has a parking space, which many at Cabana do not. Great location! I just love this little place, and find it meets all my needs for a brief stay in Waikiki! No view or pool, but the secured and included parking place is extremely valuable to me? It is also well-placed among taller buildings to achieve the maximum amount of quiet in the heart of this busy part of Waikiki! LOCATION , LOCATION , LOCATION My Wife and I stayed here while we were visiting Oahu , our first experience was the key entry , with out a current code no one was getting in. nd after several phone calls w no answer machine made for a long uncomfortable wait in the humidity. The one thing we need as crew member is an iron which they did not have. Over all the room Wass well kept ,anything you need was available to you. The best part is that you are in the downtown walking distance from anywhere to Dennys fine restraunts or for a quick drive to get a malasada. Cute place, great location! Great place, clean, comfortable bed, pull out couch. Perfect location in Waikiki. The only negative thing is the old noisy A/C but at least there was one! A week in paradise My family of four had a great time in Hawaii. The condo was perfect for what we needed. We loved having a kitchen, toaster, microwave and 12 cup coffee pot so we could try different Hawaiian coffees everyday. I loved the gated free parking with a reserved spot. This allowed us to rent a car to see all of the island. We rented a Ford Flex, which was the perfect size for the parking garage. Anything bigger would not fit well. The location was superb. 2 blocks to the beach and shopping. Right next to the zoo. At night there are multiple food trucks on the street to choose from but also walking distance to restaurants or fast food. The air conditioning kept the place cool and both rooms had ceiling fans. Would definitely stay here again. Checking in and out was a breeze. Thanks for the wonderful week in paradise. Great time in Waikiki! Had a wonderful time in Waikiki. The condo at 204 Cabana was just like the picture showed. It was nice and clean and stocked with every thing you needed for a holiday.<br/>The location was perfect being a block or two from the beach. Thanks for supplying the beach chairs, umbrella and body boards as we used them daily at the beach.<br/>Will surely visit again....

Great location, great value The Cabana at Waikiki is a great location for enjoying all Waikiki has to offer. Located on a pretty quiet street, easy walk to beach--our favorite Kuhio Beach. Check in/out very efficient by email & mobile app. The unit is clean and well stocked, including beach towels, boogy boards & beach chairs!

Mixed review No hot water for 24 hours. Maintenance was on top of it and worked hard to fix issue. He called and emailed right away and kept me updated. When the hot water tank had to be replaced and plumbers were in and out of condo though I should have been given a price reduction or relocated. The women in the office seemed to have no idea what to do and were rude on the phone. Fun in Honolulu Small, older rental building. Unit was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the location being a few short blocks to the beach. Also enjoyed an evening of music at the zoo a couple blocks away. Only downside, if you are renting a car be sure to reserve parking in advance, don't wait.

Winter getaway We had a lovely five week stay at Cabana Waikiki. The suite mates was as shown in pictures. We found it neat and well equipped. There was a surplus of dishes in cupboards which left minimal room for our groceries storage. We would have liked more storage for our clothing as well. We appreciated that there were beach chairs there for us. The location was great. Very close to beach and waikiki's strip but provided us with a quiet retreat in evenings. If we were to make suggestions for improvements we would suggest a more secure lock on sliding Lanai door ( my husband had to tighten the screws daily to keep lock attached to the door) and we found a futon couch very uncomfortable to sit on. Our neighbours had a sofa bed in their suite and it was a much better option. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Return of the USS Mississppi trip We wanted to be there when the USS Mississppi returned to see our son. Finding this condo was important to us, because we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a place to stay. The Cabana was the perfect place. They were very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect and it was such a cute little condo. Checking in and out was so simple and the mobile app was very helpful. I will definitely be coming back and wouldn't hesitate to stay at their properties.

Great Location This suite was perfectly located to the beach and nearby restaurants. A small improvement would be to upgrade the beach chairs and provide guests with an umbrella. Great price, great location My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Cabana. The property was clean and comfortable. The lanai storage area had all the beach gear you will ever need (chairs, cooler, noodles, raft--all left by previous guests, as I understand it).<br/><br/>The location is ideal- a short walk from the beach and a beautiful view of Diamond Head from the street. It's also very close to bus stops that will take you to many popular destinations, including Hanauma Bay.<br/><br/>We especially liked the lock boxes for the keys which not only made checking in easy, but was a great way to secure your key when heading out to the beach.<br/><br/>Kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. We shopped at the Safeway, which was more expensive than expected, but definitely a lot cheaper than eating out all the time. I'd recommend becoming a Safeway Club Card member to get some extra savings on your groceries.<br/><br/>Would stay here again if we're ever back in Waikiki.

Wakiki 4 day visit We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was close to the beach as described and in the middle of Wakkiki.<br/><br/>The only negatives were the couch which was not comfortable at all and there is literally no view from the lanai. The lanai overlooked the recycle yard of the neighbouring apartments. <br/><br/>The king size bed was very comfortable, and the 3 minute walk to the beach was very good. Convient Waikki rental A cute apartment style rental. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/dishes but lacking key essentials such as basic spices and Saran Wrap. This unit does not provide any beach gear such as boggie boards or beach chairs. The location is close to the beach, zoo, and car rental. Noisy but very clean and close to beach Night life is very noisy 1 block from zoo and 2 blocks from beach. <br/>Taxi music blaring, generators from food trucks, people walking thru ally all hours of night talking loud and nightly screaming made for unrestful sleep. Thankfully vehicle was parked in secure area 10 of 13nights. Not enough parking spaces for number of units. Cabana Fee for parking space is cheaper than others.

Location is good. Location was important. Beach chairs are torn and need to be replaced, couch pillows were flat and worn. Spotted roaches crawling on stove and kitchen counter. Be aware Home away charged an additional $57 for a finders fee on top of rental charges-deal directly with mget co. After addtl cleaning fees price went from $97 to $ 171 per day. Our First Time in Hawaii Instruction to access the rental was very good. Everything went well. The first impression of the rental was that it was dark...blinds were broken, windows dirty, lighting was poor. Appreciated the excellent bed, clean fridge. Did find some ants and bugs. Sofa was very uncomfortable. TV worked great. Had to have help to access wifi. Air conditioning was fixed. This rental has great potential if it is tweaked with better cleaning techniques and attention paid to carpet & flooring and details.

Life is a Baech Condo We found this unit a perfect location, close to the beach and all the sites and sounds. Yet it was quiet at night. Fully stocked with utensils to cook our meals with it was like home.

Good proxemity to the beach We were disappointed when we first arrived as the condo is tucked away between high rises and very old. It was small and not a place to hang out in. It was more of a crash pad.

Feedback First,the property is not as nice as it shows in the pictures. The hard floors, restrooms, kitchen counters were very nice and clean. A/C were good. However, the carpets were very dirty as well as the sofa and futon. Mattresses were very nice and comfortable but the pillows were very bad, big but too soft. <br/>in 204, would you like to wake up in the morning and see cockroaches walking on your head dresser? Or on the kitchen Counter around and under the coffee pot? That alone spoiled the 12 days we were there.<br/>In unit 205, kitchen faucet had to be changed while we were renting it for an old leak that should have been taken care of months prior. The damaged floor in the cabinet proofs that! <br/>It took 3 days to get the TV to work properly so that we could see the local news. The exterior stair light gives more light inside the unit during the night even with blinds closed, than the light we get inside the unit during the day.<br/><br/>Location, yes very convenient. However, the cleanliness outside around the corner was the worst in the whole block. Exterior stairs handrails could use a good pressure washing or serious scrubbing. Unfortunately, this is often very common when property management are not hands on and don't do self inspection on the regular basis. I say this because I own and I'm a hands on manager. 3-night stay at Cabana Waikiki The stay at Cabana Waikiki was okay. I would have been disappointed if we planned to stay there longer than the 3 nights. The room was overall okay, but as others have mentioned there were small cockroaches. It could have felt cleaner and the photos are misleading as to how pristine the space is kept. The apt is on a narrow street near a bunch of other tall hotels, so there is absolutely no view. It is convenient to Waikiki Beach and the shopping, although we didn't partake in that. Waikiki Getaway Our short stay at Alii's Cabana Waikiki was an enjoyable one. The unit was modest but clean, comfortable and was in a great location for easy access to the beach, restaurants and other Waikiki attractions. Mediocre Place is gated and just ok. The carpet could use some cleaning as it had huge stains all over the place. House keeping does not clean under the bed and there was crayon drawings on the back of the door. They should also place roach bait as we had many encounters in the kitchen that was clean. I kept requesting for a parking space and no one responded. Barefoot to Beach in Waikiki I stayed in the unit with my wife and two kids, it was a good size for us. Having the lanai was convenient for drying swim gear..and eating. The kids loved the unit's boogie boards. There is coin washer/dryer on the property. Very responsive management.

Great Location! We rented Cabana 204 Waikiki. We were very happy with the rental experience. Prior to check in any questions that we had were answered. I was impressed by the professionalism of the management for example inquiring if we had any questions or concerns on our first day. We were alerted again by email when a tropical storm was brewing and given instructions which was very helpful. The location is excellent, only a block from the beach and away from the crowds. We did the hike to Diamond Head walking to the site and back. The patio was a great option for sitting outside to eat. Having a blender was beneficial for making up tropical drinks after a day at the beach and Happy Hour! The kitchen has all that you need to make up meals and we loved that option. We did walk to Safeway to do our initial grocery shop and did find that the prices were reasonable in comparison to the Food Pantry, the local Wallmart or Foodland. There is a Farmer's Market on Sarurday near by which is another option for fresh produce. We were very happy with our stay and would come back again.

What you see online is what you get Very nice little apt in a great location. We made a couple of request that were attended to immediately by Mike(good Aloha spirit). Has no view but a very nice small porch. A bit noisy on weekend with the all the kids partying (I'm only jealous because as senior citizens we weren't <br/>invited:-) important: 3 night minimum on parking space but pretty good parking on the street if you read the signs. Excellent Stay at Cabana at Waikiki 204 Overall experience was great. The rental company was always responsive in a timely manner and provided clear instructions about everything. The location is great and the condo was very clean. The A/C unit is a little loud, but that is pretty typical of window units, I would assume. The unit had everything we needed and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Cabana at Waikiki 204 The room was very clean and was in a great location. Even though the lanai did not have a good view, it was private and a nice place to relax. The only thing that was a disappointment was I believed that the shutters for the room were movable. Unfortunately, they're actually screwed to the wall. To be fair, the person that made the reservation did warn me about this, but it was unclear to me, as I thought she only meant that the bedroom was not completely separated from the living room, not that there was no division at all between the bedroom and living room. Amazing Location/Great Price We very much enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Cabana! The location was amazing and it had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. There was even a blender to make your own beverages and take in a cooler and the cooler was even located on the back porch! Very quiet too! There's a Food Pantry within 6block walking distance and a city bus stop for $2.50 to any location. We took this to Pearl Harbor at 7am and it took an hour but only cost us $2.50 there and $2.50 back which was a great deal. Versus a can ride, car rental or the trolly the city pushes on you to get. <br/>We loved this cabana and will definitely recommend to family and friends and return! <br/>Thank you

Great location, a few steps from the beach The Cabana at Waikiki is in a great location, only a few minutes from the beach. The only down side is the noise level, (many buses and trolleys are doing pick ups all day long on an adjacent street) but with the air conditionning on, it is not so bad. The condo was in good condition and had all the amenities you need for a great stay in Waikiki!

A week in Waikiki Overall we really enjoyed the room and our stay. The room was very clean and neat. The appliances were great to have available. It got a bit noisy outside but quieted down pretty quickly. What a great location! It was close to beach and stores. The only downside was that the carpet under the endtable was dirty or stained however other than that overall it was a great place and we would love to come back. Loved the style of the room. A few suggestions... not meant for public review. From the photo, we thought there was a sliding screen between the rooms, however it didn't matter to us. It was odd sitting on the couch seeing too much through the glass block wall (but not x-rated) of someone taking a shower. How about installing a sliding screen that could separate the rooms and , in open position, obscure the view of the shower? Also, there was only one chair in the kitchen area.<br/>Otherwise, everything was great. Nice large, thick towels. Plenty of basic supplies (tp, garbage bags, etc)and extras (cooler, beach chairs,boogie boards). We loved the location. Great for early morning swims at Sans Souci beach.

Excellent experience The process was efficient, I really liked the phone app that had all of the information I needed throughout my stay. The location was great, the room clean and well stocked with things I would need. I had to add my luggage and trip to the grocery store and I was set. Perfect location and great value! The location of the Cabana to Kuhio and Waikiki beaches, Honolulu Zoo, shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and bus stops was perfect. The condo unit was cozy and comfy for our family of four. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, dishware, glassware, and eating utensils. A pitcher or container would be nice to mix juice or iced tea. My only complaint was too much kitchenware that there was very little cabinet space as a food pantry to store our groceries. The parking space price of $15 per day was very reasonable for the Waikiki area; however, reserve a parking space early as there are limited spaces. We stayed at the Cabana Unit #204 for one week (7 nights) and paid the weekly rental rate. Even with the cleaning fee, our condo rental costs were considerably less than one of the nearby hotels and we had a full-size kitchen to save additional monies to prepare meals and store our left-overs. During the booking process, questions prior to check-in, check-in, and during our stay, the Ali'i Beach Rental staff (Gabi, Rita, Chloe, Suzie, and Lehua) were friendly, courteous, professional, replied promptly, and were wonderful to work with. The Ali'i Beach Rental app made the check-in process easy and provided great information about Honolulu and Oahu. Lastly, with security gates for the parking area and stairs, the Cabana was secure. Nice location but neighbours are not the greatest We had a family member in hospital and were counting on reliable phone service but did not get it. The rental company e us a burner phone that kept running out of money and we did not use it frequently. The carpets were filthy and one we got permission to throw out. The second one under the bed was filthy and nothing was done about it. I very much doubt the owner had any intention whatever of fixing the phone or dealing with the carpets. Cabana at Waikiki 204 The condo was very well equipped and really provided everything you might have in your own home.<br/>My only complaint was the lack of seating for eating purposes.<br/>the condo is equipped for 2 but sleeps 4?<br/>When I requested additional chairs for aHi-top Dining table I was told to take the chairs from the bistro set outside ont he balcony.<br/>Seriously?<br/>For the price we paid, Towels should be changed every 3rd or 4th day.<br/>Would you shower with the same towel for 8 days?<br/>We requested a late checkout as we were traveling on a Red Eye back home but were forced to pay for a full day extra in order to stay an extra 10 hours.<br/>I would rent from Alii Beach Rentals again but maybe not at Cabana at Waikiki although I did like the location. Response from Alii Beach Rentals ; Sunday, August 2, 2015 Sounds like you enjoyed your stay overall. We would have certainly provided you with more chairs, but it's not something we keep in storage. All the furniture we have are in the condos and are in the pictures we use to advertise this unit. This way guests know what furniture they're getting when they book. The reason we charge for late check out is because if a guest stays for any later than an hour or two past check out time we cannot have it cleaned in time to rent it out that night. This is the reason for the extra night charge however we do work with a luggage service that can pick up, store, and drop back your luggage so our guests can spend the day at the beach. Also Monday - Friday our guests can store luggage at our Waikiki office until 5pm. Just some suggestions for next time.

Great Stay The location was great, about one block to the beach. The condo was exactly as pictured and very clean, with a variety of dishes, microwave, blender (everything that you would need, very well thought out). We felt very safe in the area, not much of a view but the balcony was nice to relax in the morning. We never used the laundry facilities. Overall, we loved the condo and would recommend to family and friends.

Cabana at Waikiki It was great that the condo was really close to the beach. The worst part of this rental was that it didn't include parking, it was $15 or more a day. It's not really worth staying here if you have a car rental. Overall, my kids and I had a decent stay. Good location The property was exactly what I expected but I was most impressed by the location. The kitchen was well equipped and the unit was very comfortable. My only concern was that I thought the floor was not cleaned well and that the couch was sandy. Laminate floors can look dirty even when clean. However I would rent this property again. The Cabana at Waikiki was We stayed at the Cabana at Waikiki in August 2015 and it was enough for three people (2 adults, one child). The place was clean when we arrived. There were plenty of other towels in the closet - including beach towels which we did use. The shower curtain lining and a couple of the towels should be replaced because they looked worn. Because this condo is typical of Hawaii (or the South or any tropical location) with Jalousie windows (think louvers but made of glass), it is not soundproof. Since the condo is located in Waikiki which is busy, you can hear a little street traffic, people talking in the street late at night and the garbage trucks and landscapers in the AM. So if you're a light sleeper, it's best to bring ear plugs. We also made use of the kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Overall, the accommodations were nice especially for the value - a lot cheaper than spending $200+/night in a hotel. We would consider staying at the Cabana at Waikiki again, but perhaps on a higher floor only because of the noise. Location was important. Beach chairs are torn and need to be replaced, couch pillows were flat and worn. Spotted roaches crawling on stove and kitchen counter. Be aware Home away charged an additional $57 for a finders fee on top of rental charges-deal directly with mget co. After addtl cleaning fees price went from $97 to $ 171 per day.

Night life is very noisy 1 block from zoo and 2 blocks from beach. <br/>Taxi music blaring, generators from food trucks, people walking thru ally all hours of night talking loud and nightly screaming made for unrestful sleep. Thankfully vehicle was parked in secure area 10 of 13nights. Not enough parking spaces for number of units. Cabana Fee for parking space is cheaper than others.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Cabana. The property was clean and comfortable. The lanai storage area had all the beach gear you will ever need (chairs, cooler, noodles, raft--all left by previous guests, as I understand it).<br/><br/>The location is ideal- a short walk from the beach and a beautiful view of Diamond Head from the street. It's also very close to bus stops that will take you to many popular destinations, including Hanauma Bay.<br/><br/>We especially liked the lock boxes for the keys which not only made checking in easy, but was a great way to secure your key when heading out to the beach.<br/><br/>Kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. We shopped at the Safeway, which was more expensive than expected, but definitely a lot cheaper than eating out all the time. I'd recommend becoming a Safeway Club Card member to get some extra savings on your groceries.<br/><br/>Would stay here again if we're ever back in Waikiki.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was close to the beach as described and in the middle of Wakkiki.<br/><br/>The only negatives were the couch which was not comfortable at all and there is literally no view from the lanai. The lanai overlooked the recycle yard of the neighbouring apartments. <br/><br/>The king size bed was very comfortable, and the 3 minute walk to the beach was very good. We had a lovely five week stay at Cabana Waikiki. The suite mates was as shown in pictures. We found it neat and well equipped. There was a surplus of dishes in cupboards which left minimal room for our groceries storage. We would have liked more storage for our clothing as well. We appreciated that there were beach chairs there for us. The location was great. Very close to beach and waikiki's strip but provided us with a quiet retreat in evenings. If we were to make suggestions for improvements we would suggest a more secure lock on sliding Lanai door ( my husband had to tighten the screws daily to keep lock attached to the door) and we found a futon couch very uncomfortable to sit on. Our neighbours had a sofa bed in their suite and it was a much better option. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

We wanted to be there when the USS Mississppi returned to see our son. Finding this condo was important to us, because we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a place to stay. The Cabana was the perfect place. They were very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect and it was such a cute little condo. Checking in and out was so simple and the mobile app was very helpful. I will definitely be coming back and wouldn't hesitate to stay at their properties.

No hot water for 24 hours. Maintenance was on top of it and worked hard to fix issue. He called and emailed right away and kept me updated. When the hot water tank had to be replaced and plumbers were in and out of condo though I should have been given a price reduction or relocated. The women in the office seemed to have no idea what to do and were rude on the phone. Aside from the water issue it was expensive, but quiet and clean. <br/>

The location of the Cabana to Kuhio and Waikiki beaches, Honolulu Zoo, shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and bus stops was perfect. The condo unit was cozy and comfy for our family of four. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, dishware, glassware, and eating utensils. A pitcher or container would be nice to mix juice or iced tea. My only complaint was too much kitchenware that there was very little cabinet space as a food pantry to store our groceries. The parking space price of $15 per day was very reasonable for the Waikiki area; however, reserve a parking space early as there are limited spaces. The process was efficient, I really liked the phone app that had all of the information I needed throughout my stay. The location was great, the room clean and well stocked with things I would need. I had to add my luggage and trip to the grocery store and I was set. Only a couple blocks from the beach, was great!<br/><br/>I had need of assistance while on the my stay and received prompt and courteous service. I would book with Alii again and will be recommending them to my friends.

From the photo, we thought there was a sliding screen between the rooms, however it didn't matter to us. It was odd sitting on the couch seeing too much through the glass block wall (but not x-rated) of someone taking a shower. How about installing a sliding screen that could separate the rooms and , in open position, obscure the view of the shower? Also, there was only one chair in the kitchen area.<br/>Otherwise, everything was great. Nice large, thick towels. Plenty of basic supplies (tp, garbage bags, etc)and extras (cooler, beach chairs,boogie boards). We loved the location. Great for early morning swims at Sans Souci beach.

Overall we really enjoyed the room and our stay. The room was very clean and neat. The appliances were great to have available. It got a bit noisy outside but quieted down pretty quickly. What a great location! It was close to beach and stores. The only downside was that the carpet under the endtable was dirty or stained however other than that overall it was a great place and we would love to come back. Loved the style of the room.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Cabana! The location was amazing and it had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. There was even a blender to make your own beverages and take in a cooler and the cooler was even located on the back porch! Very quiet too! There's a Food Pantry within 6block walking distance and a city bus stop for $2.50 to any location. We took this to Pearl Harbor at 7am and it took an hour but only cost us $2.50 there and $2.50 back which was a great deal. Versus a can ride, car rental or the trolly the city pushes on you to get. <br/>We loved this cabana and will definitely recommend to family and friends and return! <br/>Thank you

Very nice little apt in a great location. We made a couple of request that were attended to immediately by Mike(good Aloha spirit). Has no view but a very nice small porch. A bit noisy on weekend with the all the kids partying (I'm only jealous because as senior citizens we weren't <br/>invited:-) important: 3 night minimum on parking space but pretty good parking on the street if you read the signs. The Cabana at Waikiki is in a great location, only a few minutes from the beach. The only down side is the noise level, (many buses and trolleys are doing pick ups all day long on an adjacent street) but with the air conditionning on, it is not so bad. The condo was in good condition and had all the amenities you need for a great stay in Waikiki!

The room was very clean and was in a great location. Even though the lanai did not have a good view, it was private and a nice place to relax. The only thing that was a disappointment was I believed that the shutters for the room were movable. Unfortunately, they're actually screwed to the wall. To be fair, the person that made the reservation did warn me about this, but it was unclear to me, as I thought she only meant that the bedroom was not completely separated from the living room, not that there was no division at all between the bedroom and living room. All in all, a good experience!

This is a perfect location for your Waikiki vacation. My wife and I stayed here with our two chlidren ages 16 and 15. We had plenty of room and the property was perfect for our needs. The parking under the building is a must have as well. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

We rented Cabana 204 Waikiki. We were very happy with the rental experience. Prior to check in any questions that we had were answered. I was impressed by the professionalism of the management for example inquiring if we had any questions or concerns on our first day. We were alerted again by email when a tropical storm was brewing and given instructions which was very helpful. The location is excellent, only a block from the beach and away from the crowds. We did the hike to Diamond Head walking to the site and back. The patio was a great option for sitting outside to eat. Having a blender was beneficial for making up tropical drinks after a day at the beach and Happy Hour! The kitchen has all that you need to make up meals and we loved that option. We did walk to Safeway to do our initial grocery shop and did find that the prices were reasonable in comparison to the Food Pantry, the local Wallmart or Foodland. There is a Farmer's Market on Sarurday near by which is another option for fresh produce.

Bathroom: Moldy tiles in shower, toilet leaked, general mildew/dirt smell<br/>Bedroom: One chest of drawers not enough for 2 people, comforter and sheets had blood stains, lighting not adequate.<br/>Living room: Rug was filthy, futon covered with hair.<br/>Kitchen was ok, but stove was very small.<br/>Generally very disappointed with the unit - expectations were maybe too high.

My family and I stayed at this location for 5 days. The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach, zoo, restaurants, shops, etc. The only downfall was the parking. I was told all parking spots were sold out. However, once there we saw one car in the parking lot the entire time. We had to park one two blocks away. Very inconvinient. Overall, the condo was small but in great condition. Well return.

1) The location was superb! 5 minute walk from the beach and right next to the ABC Store. This made it easy to simply leave our rental car parked at the Cabana parking. We were able to walk to the main drag (Kalakaua avenue) every day without having to worry about traffic or parking.<br/>2) The room was very clean.<br/>3) There was an abundance of clean white towels and beach towels for our use.<br/>4) The beach chairs were light, portable as backpacks and very useful at the beach.<br/>5) The kitchen was clean and saved us a bundle in the occasional meal.<br/>6) The maintenance department was very helpful, professional and responsive. The cable was disconnected when we came in but Barry came by and fixed it. I had been unable to detect the wireless signal for Cabana 204 but Barry had walked me through an alternative route using Cabana 303's signal which I had been able to detect.<br/>7) The shower did not seem as clean as the rest of the room. The water connection to the toilet leaked so we had to use one of

Location and value could not be beat. The booking/"check in" process was very smooth and property management staff were very quick and helpful with my questions. The condo was well stocked with plenty of linens/dishes/beach supplies. I will stay here again next time I am in Honolulu.

This is a great location 1 minute away from Waikiki beach. Quiet but close to things. <br/>We found free parking on streets next to Zoo. 5 minute walk. You dont need a car in Waikiki unless you plan to drive around Oahu. <br/>I wasnt a huge fan of the $85-100 cleaning fee when you know they don't pay the cleaning crew that (but this seems the norm there). Plus asking guests to clean own dishes seems unsanitary (how do I know guy before me didnt just rinse glasses instead of use soap and hot water like me; I'd rather leave it to maid). <br/>But room was clean and roomie and nice at decent price, so what more can you ask? Plus we left future guests some boogie boards and a beach mat! Y'all are welcome! lol<br/>Mahalo!

Overall, the place was in great condition and a good size for our family of 3. The only bad thing was the coffee table carpet had some debris on it. Other than that I loved it!

Excellent location, the room is very nice and clean. I had a little inconvenient situation at the beginning of my visit, but managers were great at resolving it, everything was done to my complete satisfaction. I will absolutely come again, and stay again and recommend to friends.
