Bow River is a 15 minute walk from the property. There is no beach. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor.
There are many lakes in Canmore within a few mins drive including Spray Lakes and Grassi Lake, with its intense crystalline green color. Turquoise-colored alpine lakes are also plentiful, with the world famous Lake Louise a scenic 40 min drive away. A two block stroll takes you to a protected wetlands habitat with a creek. Drive ten minutes to the Quarry Lake beach or your choice of alpine lakes to canoe or fish.
Ski/Board Out is a 20 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot. Ski/Board In is a 20 minute drive from the resort parking lot.
The Canmore Nordic Center, just 5 mins away, offers 60 kms of world-class cross-country and biathlon trail systems while 5 downhill ski areas are within easy reach. Banff's Norquay, Sunshine and Nakiska are within a 20-30 min's drive. The scenic trip to Fortress and Lake Louise -45 mins- features breathtaking scenery and is highly recommended.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of this condo. Big windows let in a great view of the mountains, and the owner/artist's awesome creative furnishings (with descriptions and historic details provided) lent to the experience. Also provided were lots of information, itineraries and an auto Park Pass. We felt quite at home, but it was a very close fit for 6 adults. The location was convenient to the wonderful offerings of Canmore and the surrounding area. We would recommend for families with children, or two couples. The owner was exceptionally helpful and considerate. This is a very special place.

The luxury loft features a gourmet kitchen, heated underground parking, 23-foot vaulted ceilings & soaring 8-foot walls of glass flanking a cozy log/riverstone fireplace. You will enjoy stunning views whether you are lounging in the plush feather beds, relaxing on the leather sofa, working out in the gym, or soaking in the rooftop hottub!

Here, you won't find lacklustre furnishings prevalent in most vacation rentals. Instead, every piece of antique barnwood and log furnishing is exquisite and custom crafted by artisan, earning this home a reputation as the area's most artistic loft. We have become one of the most sought-after lofts for discerning honeymooners, families, and those looking for a vacation experience that is a cut above the rest.

Aside from the comfortable, nailhead-studded, top-grain leather sofa in the living room, there is (remarkably) no store-bought furniture in the loft! As such, every piece of furnishing is unique and has a story to tell. Skilled artisans from all over Canada were commissioned to craft unique works of art, based on the artist-owner's sketches and designs. The interior design and furnishings reflect the tranquil beauty of the Canadian Rockies; hence, the liberal use of birch, willow and lodgepole pine throughout.

There are visual delights at every turn -- the trapezoidal birch-willow dining table, the soaring 20-foot console table made from a polished birch slab and ancient root stumps, the late 1800s crackle barnwood armoire, the romantic lodgepole log canopy bed that's custom-crafted from diamond willow twigs... and much more...

We are proud of our impeccable furnishings as we are firm believers that an exquisite ambiance can make the difference between a vacation that is merely good, and one that is truly unforgettable!

It is likely apparent, even from website photos alone, that this property offers a rather different caliber of accommodation. That is because this property was not furnished to be a vacation rental per se. It was meticulously decorated by the artist-owner to be her second home, and her primary place to rejuvenate. As such, it is unlikely that you will find another place decked out quite as artistically or as lovingly as this one!
