Une superbe maison avec piscine Le lieu est très beau, bien entretenu, et le personnel adorable. La piscine est super bien. Nous avons adoré cette maison ! Dommage seulement que les prix proposés (excursions notamment) soient quasiment le double de ce qu'on peut trouver au port.

There is better on the island! Go to Colindas instead! The location is nice and the dock they have is great but the home itself is lacking many details that make for a comfortable stay. Top of the list is actual running water. Yes, I know it is an island (this is my 8th time on the island) and yes, the island does periodically shut off water for conservation, but our unit had hardly any water in it the first three days of our stay. I’d also like to note that while management tried dismissing it as the island shutting off water, we had no water even during the times water was allowed. Through my constant inquiries at the front, I gathered the property management itself has an issue with keeping well maintained pumps or simply just didn’t want to turn water on. Funny enough, when more people arrived and I threatened to contact my CC company, there was no issue with water! We went days without showers or being able to flush our toilets and kept being told it is normal. It’s not and our friends who stayed elsewhere on the island at the SAME TIME had no issues with their water. Aside from that, the rooftop deck no longer has the view that is shown in the photos, the light is motion sensor and turns off every 30 seconds so you cannot sit up there after the sun sets, bedrooms lack bedside lamps, and the stairs are not suitable for anyone that may have vertigo or small children. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Caye Caulker Enjoyed our stay very much

Great Stay! We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Villa. The property is super well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer was a real plus. The air conditioning worked well and cooled down the interior fast when we turned it on at night. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and quiet since you are just sharing it with the adjacent house. We loved the private rooftop palapa for hanging out mornings and evenings. There is really no water view, but the sunrise and sunset skies are beautiful through the lush palm foliage. This property is out of the main center of town so we rented bikes for the whole week. You definitely could walk, but the bikes made it much more convenient. Plus they have baskets for groceries, towels, etc. It was nice to stay out of the noise of the main town but still just be a few minutes bike ride away from everything. The enclave’s private dock was also a fun place to hang out. All in all, we loved the property and how friendly and helpful all the staff members were (especially Victoria and Beyoncé). We will definitely stay here when we visit again someday!!

A Caye Caulker Delight! Communication was fabulous. They sent a golf cart taxi pickup for $5 BZ pp. The location is central/southern end of the island away from the hustle & bustle. We loved the actual accommodations. The air conditioning worked very well. It was spacious & comfortable for a family of six. The kitchen was well-stocked. We were given fresh bath & beach towels when we requested. The kayaks & paddle boards were a nice perk, however, it was too windy to really enjoy them. We snorkeled from the dock & saw sting rays, puffer fish, crabs, & lots of tiny fish. The lounge chairs were comfortable & the environment was relaxing. The pool was fun & felt great in the early evening. It was slightly warm & would be better if they kept it cooler. We loved eating at Weezies located on site. It’s expensive but convenient. The coffee was eh... wish they used a good Guatemalan or Columbian coffee but- it met a need! Overall, I’d give this place 5 stars! We were very pleased & it was worth the cost.

Unexpected Upgrade - Beyond Expectations We did not stay in the room that was originally booked because maintenance was scheduled for one of the days and so the manager upgraded us to a room at one of their other properties at no additional cost. While I'm sure the place we booked would have been good, the place we got was excellent and much more than we expected. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean and we were allowed to host family members staying at another location for one of the evenings. I'm sure, regularly this would have cost much more, and so while I can't say I'd book this exact location, I would certainly book at Velento again as the management was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Great place to stay! Loved the villa! Loved the dock,the rooftop deck and palapa! The villa was nicely appointed and truly one of the BEST properties on the island. The only thing that took away from it (which really, I am a little embarassed to even mention) is that the palms have grown so tall that you cannot see but just a sliver of the ocean as shown in the photo from the deck. But come on, that's really nothing at all! Michael and Cecilia were fabulous also! Enjoyed the mini paddleboard lesson for my 1st time from Michael as well. It was a lot of fun to have the bikes, paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks on site for our use. I would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to come back to the island. This place is a little off the beaten path so it was perfectly relaxing and a bonus is the great little Italian place right behind it that served up some of the best food and drinks on the island. Perfect for those lazy evenings you don't want to use the kitchen!

Great House Great house with a good location on the island. Closer to the airport but an easy walk into town. Nice property with many amenities. Has bike rentals on site. Pool is shared with other units but clean and was not crowded. Property manager can get you beer from the distributor which is cheaper than you can buy from the store.

Great amenities The house is clean, well kept and the on site staff is super friendly and helpful. The property is verdant, private and very secure. Check in process was smooth as was check out. We rented bikes and though we had two flat tires during our week, they were replaced quickly. The listing indicated different size beds than what was actually in the house, but it didn't prove a problem for us. But, if you are a person who needs a king or queen size bed, beware! The dock was a welcome spot for both naps, easy water access and sunning. Unlike the listing, there weren't any daily tropical fish sightings, so there really isn't an opportunity to snorkel right from the property. The pool was superb and we most often had it to ourselves, so it too was very private. The staff does a good job keeping the sargassum at bay, but neighboring properties don't, so there is a lingering scent. Again, we are aware of the problem up and down the coast, but if someone isn't prepared, it can be a shock. We would return to the property and recommend it.

Family vacation Loved the location of the house. A/c worked well and home was clean and comfortable .Roof top was beautiful ( although the view is now obscured by the growing vegetation ) The pool was great and the dock was very nice. We would definitely stay there again .

Room With(out) a View!?! Everything about this property is fantastic except...there is no longer the beautiful view of the ocean from the terrace! The palm trees in between the units have grown to the point that they have now completely obscured the view. Since there is a premium paid to rent due to the location and the view it can offer, we don't feel we received equal value. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future as it is a wonderful property otherwise! This was the fifth annual trip to Caye Caulker for my wife and I. We have rented from this management company now three times and it has always been 5 star...until now.

The Caye Caulker first stay The island is great. The property was nicely appointed and was very clean. Be patient for hot water. Ceci was great and took care of any questions and concerns that we had. Over all it was a relaxing stay comfortable lodging.

Private Dock and beach area with chaise loungers under a large palapa, sea access for swimming.. Only a few steps from the ocean, beach area, and swimming dock. Although not directly beach front, it is very close on our beach lot but less costly than the one in the front.
We have 2 'near identical homes' on the same property. This new home has 2 levels, very spacious and comfortable: The kitchen and living room are on the main level with a large veranda with ocean views. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom and a second large veranda with outdoor furniture. The upper level leads to the roof top deck with 360 degree views and a Palapa that you can sit under for hours to enjoy the ocean view. There are Hammocks under the Palapa as well as chairs for total relaxation. You will have incredible views of the Caribbean Ocean, the reef, and views of the ocean on the opposite Leeward side of the island too!
Throughout are modern island finishes, cool tiled floors, Belizian hardwood ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washing machine, Flatscreen TV/DVD, wifi, air conditioning, and a large swimming pool with loungers. New furniture throughout.
The home is built of thick reinforced concrete floors and walls, and to American/Canadian Standards.
*The island breeze coming off of the ocean is refreshing on most everyday.
This home is located in an enclave of private homes and only 100 yards to your beach area and swimming dock. Beach volleyball, paddle boarding, kayaking are all available from the private beach area.
This is a quiet area, only a 5 minute bike ride to town, close to many wonderful restaurants, local groceries, and tiki cabana bars.
Abundant palm trees and floral foliage all around.
The beach area is one of only a few on the island. Our small private enclave decided to build a swimming dock/platform for your morning/afternoon most enjoyable dip in the sea. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch the reef break just offshore. Underwater tropical fish are a daily event at the dock. If you are traveling on your own boat, you may reserve a spot at your dock if staying in the enclave.
The pool is 33'x15' wide with a Belizian hardwood wrap around deck. There are several chaise lounge chairs with cushions to sit by the pool and relax to recharge your batteries for your next adventure. The pool is shared with our 2 homes.
We have Paddle boards, Sea kayaks and canoes for rent.
We also rent island bicycles to travel and tour about the wonderful adventure for most any age!We have children's bikes, child carriers, and cribs upon request
