Sweet Habana apartment is very clean and secure, luminous and airy. In case guests prefer acclimatized room, the property is fully air conditioned. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave oven, gas stove with oven, a two doors refrigerator and a variety of electric appliances, cookware and dinner service. Transportation is not an issue as there are plenty of old cars and regular taxis going by all the time, the City Tour bus stops in front of the building. There are several car rental agencies around but we would recommend you, if you are interest on renting a car, you should book it online in advance or contact the agencies by email or phone before you come. We appreciate our guests to have an ethical behavior. There are other family´s apartments in the building then we ask please, do not make unnecessary noises or play loud music. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, do it at the balcony instead. Pets are not allowed. In general Cubans are very friendly and like to talk and socialize with visitors. However is interesting to note that in tourist areas is common to find some persons who try to get advantage of foreign tourists. Our apartment is very well equipped with all the commodities that Cuba can offer for you to have a fantastic stay. Within walking distance, you will find amazing tourist and architectural buildings. The National Hotel (World Travel Awards Winner 2016 & declared a National Monument is only three blocks away), Hotel Habana Libre (two blocks away), Malecon (three blocks away), Caffe Laurent Restaurant and La Cocina de Esteban Restaurant (very well-known private paladares) only two blocks away, among many other privately owned restaurants and cafeterias. Old Havana, The Cathedral, The Morro-Cana Fortress are only 10 – 15 min cab ride away. We offer breakfast services for a modest fee allowing you to leave the apartment ready for the days adventures. The Art Factory (Contemporary, cultural and privately owned center with unique offerings such as films, concerts & art exhibitions (check it out on TripAdvisor) as well as many Museums like the Art Museum, Museum of the Revolution, among others, are only 10 min cab ride away. There is a Farmers Market and convenience store only a block away that offers many Cuban staples and various items needed for the home. You will have the entire place to yourself and our onsite contact, Magalys, will check you in, provide you with the keys and answer any questions you may have. She will also assist you in the event any issues with the accommodations arise during your stay. We have also created a comprehensive guest book that provides a brief history of Cuba, historic places you may want to visit, where to eat, among other things. We have a fully furnished kitchen, American and Cuban style coffee makers are also available . The building has two fully functional elevators. In order to ensure the property stays in perfect shape for future guests, it is important to follow certain basic civic rules. You agree to return the apartment in perfect condition at the end of your stay. You must assume financial responsibility for damages or degradation, which you were personally responsible for, during your stay.
