The room is furnished with a modern two seater sofa, a leather white armchair, a flat-screen satellite TV, an air conditioning/heating unit and a dining table sitting 6 people . This room is very airy and full of light thanks to 3 windows facing the sea. On one side of the living room access is into the kitchen with a window overlooking Conca dei Marini and the sea. The kitchen, adorned with teastfully blue maiolica tiles, is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a microwave oven , a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a bar table with two stools. From the kitchen, 10 steps lead to the mezzanine level which gives access to a bathroom (by climbing 2 more steps) and to the large terrace which benefits from wonderful views over the surroundings countryside and the sea . At the foot of the famous stairway to the Duomo, you will find elegant shops, bars, and restaurants with outdoor tables. The interiors have been recently refurbished throughout to provide a comfortable accommodation.     Casa Siria is a recently renovated two bedrooms vacation accommodation located in a quite corner at a short distance from the historical centre of Ravello. The house, a small building on its own, is built a few meters below Villa Rufolo, one of the area’s most important tourist attractions. The historical villa is famous for its spectacular terraces that jut out over the sea and its wonderful gardens where every summer the International Music Festival of Ravello is held. The interior of the house has been tastefully furnished and equipped with modern comforts: air conditioning throughout , TV, oven, washing machine and dishwasher. The house is accessed by means of a pedestrian walkway of approx. 200 metres which includes approximately 50 stone steps . The picturesque main square of the town , called Piazza Vescovado, is in a 10 minutes walk from the apartment. From the property you will be able to reach it on foot, by going up along an ancient typical staircase consisting of about 130 steps. Alternatively, if climbing steps gives some troubles to someone with physical concerns, the town centre can be reached more comfortably by driving along the 1 km road situated below the accommodation. Around the main piazza there are many fine shops, very good restaurants , open air cafés and the stop for the SITA bus that goes from Ravello to Amalfi and other towns on the Amalfi Coast. From the quay of Amalfi, ferries and hydrofoils ply between the towns of Positano, Sorrento, Naples and Salerno and the islands of Capri and Ischia ( This service operates during April-October).     Casa is an independent apartment located on the third and top floor of an ancient palace ( there is no elevator ) dating back to the 12th century, whose entrance is located in an old and tiny square right in the heart of the historical centre of Amalfi, only 50 meters away from the sea and the beach. Access to the apartment is up an internal flight of stairs , 74 steps long (two minutes walk) . The privilege of this apartment is that it enjoys a wonderfully convenient and central location , as well as being very quiet and peaceful. Fine food shops and a variety of coffee bars and restaurants are just outside the door. Within a few minutes walk away are most of Amalfi’s main attractions , as well as the sea side promenade , the tourist port to board ferries to reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, Salerno , and the bus station for the SITA buses that connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast. The accommodation is fully air conditioned and has the open-plan living/dining room/kitchen and a complete bathroom at the entrance level, whereas on the upper floor you will have the two bedrooms and a second bathroom with only a sink and a toilet. The two floors are connected from an inside and outside stairways. Very comfortable and romantic, and is located 10 KM from the sea. The white-washed city of Cisternino sits on the undulating plains of Puglia. It is listed as one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy. The town has an active evening passeggiata when the residents go out and stroll about to meet for a chat or an aperitivo. There are lots of cafes and restaurants, including a local peculiarity - macelleria-eateries, meat markets where you choose what you want and they grill or roast it for you while you wait. There are artist's gallery and spiritual community around there. Cisternino is in the heart of Puglia's trulli region, a fascinating area to explore the peculiar architectural structures that are characterized by their cone-shaped roofs. Interesting towns in the area include Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Ostuni, and Alberobello. The port city of Bari is also in easy reach and is the closest airport to Cisternino. The unit is in a very quiet and little square, in the center, where no car are allowed, but next to the main street.
