There is a daily fish and vegetable market, supermarkets, bakeries and also banks, ATMs and a Post Office. For transport there are Taxis and local buses. Water sports, pedalos and boat trips to spot Dolphins and visit the caves can be booked. There are plenty of other places to visit with children Take a trip to the Tourist Information office (located along the pedestrian promenade) where they can advise you of other activities going on in the town and local area, to be honest there is quite a programme of events during the high season, and even out of season there will be something. The villa can be found in the quiet area of Pata Village situated between Vilamoura and Albufeira, only 5 miles from either of these two popular tourist destinations and only a 3 minute drive to the smaller holiday resort of Olhos de Agua. The property is designed in such a way that it will stay cool throughout the summer months, however, all bedrooms are fully air conditioned. The large 10m x 5m pool has a solar heat cover, ensuring water temperatures are in the late 20's early 30's, in high season. Sorry, no Hen or Stag parties allowed.
