We stayed for two nights in the summer season and had a very quiet relaxing time at the condo. It was perfect for the four of us, with a great kitchen, full of all the necessary utensils and dishes. Also lots of little things like coffee filters, spices, etc. Comfortable and cozy place. The paved road up the mountain was a lot of fun and the views spectacular. It was close enough to stores and many wineries for a full day of touring. The resort is totally closed down in the summer, so you need to bring all your supplies, and that was not an issue as we knew in advance. It would be a issue if you did need something, I wouldn't want to drive the road down after dark. Owner was super easy to deal with and provided plenty of information to us in advance. Only area for improvement we could suggest is the mattresses are a bit mushy and didn't provide the best sleep. A little extra wine helped. But overall we would go back without hesitation and recommend the condo as a great mountain hide out in the off season (for skiing) months.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit at Apex Ski Resort, just outside of Penticton, has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - in snow or sun! Ski in/ski out or a quick drive to hidden lakes up above for some fishing. Try snowshoeing, skating on the outdoor loop, tubing at the Tube Park, cross country skiing or hiking and mountain biking in the summer. One queen sized bed in master bedroom, 2 sets of bunk beds in second bedroom (4 single beds) and one double futon in living room. Washer & dryer provided in the unit as well. Electric fireplace, DVD/VHS player and satellite TV.

There is a skating rink and also a skating loop through the trees. Both are cleared regularly by a zamboni.
