Great place!
Lovely condo with beautiful views! Great set up and fabulous kitchen. Nice building. Easy walk or drive to dinner. Very quiet and relaxing! The ONLY negative were the mattresses—- they need replacing. Everything else was absolutely perfect!

Wonderful Trip!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Dauphin Island and The Inn unit 304. It was clean and comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was not crowded at all and was very quiet and peaceful. It was even better than described. The heated pool was amazing. We would absolutely come back again! We did eat most of the means in the condo and it was very well stocked - there is a regular coffee pot, not a Keurig, so FYI if you are a coffee drinker. :) We loved this trip to this peaceful little island!

Recharging 3 day island visit

Our atay
We really enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful! We most definitely plan to go back. The restaurants were under staffed in the area was theworst draw back for us. The hours of operation for most of the restaurants were different and not very tourists friendly. I’m a Christian and Pastor of a church. I had the most powerful early morning devotions on my balcony. It was most definitely a great time of rest for me. Highly recommend!

The Inn Unit 304
We have stayed at the The Inn for several times but this unit “304” was the best unit so far that we have stayed at. Nice view over looking the pool and beach. The Inn’s staff was very helpful. Will be back again!!

Beach trip 2021
We love The Inn at Dauphin Island. It's a great place to stay, no crowds and very clean and well maintained. It's our yearly go to place for the beach.

Good Times and Memories
I’ve been vacationing on Dauphin Island for more than 40 years and have stayed in many different condo’s.I would rank this condo in the top three.The unit was stocked with all you needed and surprisingly had beach towels if needed.The few negative things were dirty coffee cups in the cabinet and the screen on the sliding glass door needs to be repaired.The balcony has good furniture and enjoyed our coffee w/breakfast while enjoying the view.I plan on renting this condo again in the future

Wonderful relaxing vacation
Beautiful condo, views were great. We recommend and would stay there again. Updated kitchen, walk in shower for us older folks, loved the decor. Very clean too. Dauphin Island is laid back with no hustle & bustle. My only suggestion is more comfortable sofa. Thank you owners for the hospitality.

My Vacation
We had a great time once again as we do every year. We choose the INN because we enjoyed staying there last year and it’s very reasonably priced. We look forward to planning our visit for next year.

Fabulous Family Fun in the Sun
Unit 304 is beautifully professionally decorated. The appliances are very modern. Countertops are gorgeous. TVs in the bedrooms are incredibly small. The master bed is completely worn our and the coils are pretty painful to sleep on. We found the sofa bed to be more comfortable. The dishes, pots, pans and utensils were plentiful for preparing home cooked meals. The bath towels were plush and so soft! The sheets were quite comfy and soft. The furniture on the balcony was comfortable and plentiful. We enjoyed meals and sunsets from the balcony. The rental unit was great with all things considered. The folks at the desk were friendly as usual. This marked our 9th stay at the Inn on DI. Love the atmosphere and the heated pool! The newly added additional seating on the boardwalk was fabulous to enjoy the sunset and the fresh gulf breeze! Love it! Dauphin Island is my favorite place to relax, unwind and make family memories. DI could use a few more restaurants! Thankful that the Inn staff keeps the grounds and facilities up to date and spotless. We will be back this summer and next spring break! Thank you all for your southern hospitality! We always feel right at home!

Wonderful beach getaway
Nice few days away from busy life. The unit was very clean and newly updated. Perfect for 2 couples with 2 king beds. Great view of the beach. Even though our weather wasn't great, we could enjoy the gulf from the porch.

The Inn at Dauphin Island-unit 304 is the best!
We usually rent a house on the beach with a<br/>Few couples &<br/>Families but this year it<br/>Was just my husband & I with our 4 year old granddaughter. It was perfect for us & wished we could have stayed longer! We used both pools when the surf was too rough & it was nice to have the lounge chairs available for everyone to use. We'll definitely stay at the Inn again & hopefully get the same unit that has great views of the beach!

Beautiful clean condo
The condo was beautiful, very clean and stocked with any kitchen utensil you would need. Every employee we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. All the locals were so welcoming.

Very nice and updated condo
Pros = This condo has high end appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. The dishwasher is so quite, I had to put my ear to it to see if it was running. The master bath has a walk in shower, no tub like in all the other condos. We really liked that. The master bed is memory foam and very soft. The deck has a couple tables and six chairs on it. There was about 40 DVD movies and 50 books in the TV stand. The third floor gives an great view of the beach and ocean. There are lots of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, crockpot and utensils. Cons = There are so many decorations sitting of the counters. We took them off and stored away in the TV stand so we would have counter space. The front door still uses a key. A key-less entry with push buttons would be so much more convenient then keeping track of two keys that five people were using.

Perfect getaway
This condo was in a perfect location right on the beach. The beach itself was beautiful and not crowded like more commercialized towns. The condo was spacious and clean with serene views. Would definitely stay here again.

my stay at the Inn
It was a great experience. Social distancing was practiced. People were courteous and waited to take another elevator and waited on each other to go through doors. the beach was not too crowed in front of the hotel. The room was cute and had necessary amenities. The hotel was accommodating about changing arrival and departure dates due to storm.

Relaxing beach getaway
We had a great time at this condo. Everything was well stocked and clean. The access to the beach was amazing and the double pools were really helpful for social distancing. We had a great time and would come back!

Great view
Excellent. The only issue we had was entrance through the front gate. The gate access code, although on the reservation instructions, was not easily found. Suggest making that information more visible. Office staff gave instructions about using a button on the entrance pad. That button was not on the pad. We were told maintenance would call us, but we never received a call. Another guest in a car behind us was helpful to gaining entrance.

AGREAT week on DI
My wife and I come to DI twice a year hurricane's permitting. This was a great weather week, we enjoyed the Farmers Market, the art festival and the pool. cant wait until September so we can do it all over again.

the most relaxing part of our vacation!

Memorial Day on Dauphin Island
Great condo and mini-vacation. Condo nicely furnished. It definitely needs new knives and a wine opener. Also, all crown molding is dirty and floor is dingy. View was incredible. We watered the plants outside as they were close to death. The beach is a long way away and the sand is hot so be prepared. A guest log book is always a nice touch.

Easter Vacation
Location and staff are amazing. Room could use some updating, they have many wine glasses but no wine opener, so make sure you pack one. If you have small children this is not the unit for you. Be prepared to baby proof. We spent the first hour of our trip picking up and finding a place to put the many breakable nic nacks that were everywhere and the cleaning supplies that were stored under the sink. We will be back but will not stay in this unit again.

A great ocean view.
It was a great vacation, the condo was great and clean, the view was great. We met lots of people and everyone we met was friendly. Had great weather and a great time. We will be back. The staff were very nice people and helpful.

Too Many Issues
Refrigerator wasnt working properly, ice maker didnt put out much ice until day we left, false fire alarm went off at 7 in the morning the last day of our stay,real estate company showed the property the second day we were there and didnt tell us until shortly before (they also showed up late which messed up our plans for the day).

Affordable
Overall the stay here was very good especially for the price. Love Dauphin Island! However, there were a few issues within this unit that could use improvement. First thing noticed was multiple stains on carpet in bedroom, tile floors were not clean, someone else's trash under a chair in living area & kitchen counters were not clean. Linens were very worn & even pilled on one bed. Extra linens & blankets were provided for the sleeper sofa but were found on floor in closet with a musty smell. Towels had bleach stains and seemed quite old. These things weren't major issues & no complaints were made however when there is an additional fee for cleaning I would expect it to be clean. This unit's balcony is directly above one of the pools which we were not aware of when booking. On a positive note, there were ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the balcony was very spacious. This unit was less costly than other units on different properties so the money saved made up for the few things were not quite up to par!

Sr citizens break from daily routines
Peaceful and serene week. this property has recently been listed for sale. i watch too much HGTV. I would recommend a deep cleaning, refresh rugs, clean carpeting, and a new welcoming mat at the entrance. Surface cleaning was adequate.

Serious cleaning needed
When we arrived and went into our unit there was a strong smell of mold. Upon looking around we found the carpeting in the 2nd bedroom was filthy. The ceiling in the bathroom had some serious water stains and mildew. The screen in the master bedroom has a huge tear in it. The coffee pot was extremely rusty. After investigating the mildew smell was coming from the cabinets in the kitchen. The overall cleanliness of unit was lacking. The bed linens need replacing. Since the office wasn't open until Monday morning and we arrived on Saturday we cleaned what we could. When we finally connected with the manager and showed him pictures they came and replaced the screen and coffee pot. The scheduled the unit for maintenance the following week and refunded us a night and the cleaning fee. All of which was good except we wanted a clean unit BEFORE we came.

We absolutely loved our stay. I had reached a point where I didn't care to return to the gulf of Mexico. I no longer cared to vacation in built up areas(tourism). This location has completely changed my way of thinking. God willing, we will return to the gulf. I will be staying g on Dauphin Island.

Everything was great.....but!
This condo has all that you will need for a great stay. The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is because it has a very obvious mold or mildew problem. The smell hit me as soon as we opened the door. Looks like it has been painted over in spots.
