Property is NOT waterfront or within 30 minute drive of a lake, ocean or river.
Lake Winderemere is 8 km. to the north and Columbia Lake is 8 km. to the south. There is also river rafting close by; whether you have your own raft and prefer meandering down a slow moving river through a golf course or for the more adventurous, booking with a touring company for some "wild water" rafting. There is a beach about a 10 minute drive away in Invermere.
Ski/Board Out is a 45 minute transit/shuttle ride to runs from the property.
There is a small ski resort about 10 minutes away by car and 2 world class ski resorts in the area, one being Panorama which is a 30-40 minute drive away and Kimberley which is just over an hour away.

The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful, roomy, well stocked home. What a beautiful well kept home. Very spacious and comfortable. All 8 adults and 2 kids had loads of room and never felt on top of one another. The beds were comfortable, the pantry was well stocked with everything, from spices, napkins, cling wrap, and foil to coffee filters. It was just like being home. Excellent modern working appliances. Bathrooms supplied with ample soap, shower gel and clean towels.The large wrap around upper deck had sufficient chairs and tables for our whole party to sit outside. This is a great place to have late night drinks and watch the sunrise or sunset as the view is spectacular. I can't say enough about the fabulous tranquil view. Wonderful and very updated appliances. The washer alarm sings. Grandkids got a real chuckle from this! Outdoors is well done with some rustic seating that my grandkids just loved. One of the best homes I have stayed in and I've been doing this for over 20 years. I would re-book this home again and again. The owner was easy and very obliging to deal with. Answered all questions quickly. Just loved our stay and the beautiful home helped make our family reunion a great success.

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The house and property are beautiful. Our golf group stayed here mid June, 7 adults. We had plenty of room, and it is perfect for entertaining. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the valley. Very private. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, and the bedrooms are very spacious. Looking forward to coming back next year.

What a beautiful home, nicely decorated, outstanding view and best of all peace and quiet... We had a great stay and would highly recommend to others. The location was perfect for us, on a back road with easy access to golf. Home was well equipped and we did not miss a thing, other than internet (but that was a good thing).

We thoroughly enjoyed our August long weekend golf vacation staying at the property. The house was very spacious for 8 people and the huge deck with the panoramic views was beautiful. We cooked all our meals there and found the kitchen to be well stocked with anything we needed. The extra decorating touches made the place feel like a home, not just somewhere to stay. We'll definitely be back!

This home has an unbelievable panoramic view of the valley on one side and an exceptional view of a beautiful mountain range on the other.

To the west the panoramic view from the deck is incredible and a golf course is slated to be built in the not too distant future. This home will be approximately 250 yards up the side of a hill from one of the fairways. To the east (the front of the house) there is a spectacular view of the East Kootenay's Mountain Range. This home is located in a new, gated community called Crooked Tree which has only 22 lots for development. At this time there are only 8 or 10 completed or in various stages of completion.
