A New Mexico Historic Site and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Legendary Ranch was a Million acre Cattle Empire under the steady hand of Englishman Thomas Lyons and his wife Ida Campbell. Today the Ranch Headquarters is a 60 room compound that includes an Old West Saloon, Wedding Chapel, Theatre, Gallery, Bunkhouse and 27 room Main Ranch House. Not a "dude" or working ranch, but an Historic glimpse into the legendary million acre cattle empire. Tour the Main House where Cattle Baron Tom Lyons and wife Ida Campbell lived their lavish lives, then relax in the pool, the Historic old saloon, or enjoy the art and music filled Gallery. As a friend describes "It's like a ride on a very nice old train". The Gate House is a newly renovated, well appointed accommodation perfect for a couple, or couple "plus one", if they are willing to sleep on the couch. King Size four-post bed, Air conditioned, full kitchen, Satellite TV, private bathroom with Jacuzzi. (Two more apartments will be ready next year.) Once you're settled in, time to check out the Ranch. The National Park Service, in their publication "The Cattleman's Empire" described the million acre ranch as "Overshadowing all other ranching operations in the Southwest", and “The L C Ranch remains as one of the last surviving Great Ranch Houses of the Old West”. The cattle, cowboys and million acres are long gone. Cattle Baron Tom Lyons was murdered in El Paso in 1917. An Englishman, Tom Lyons' feudal empire collapsed shortly after his demise. His 27 room adobe mansion, lavishly refurnished, remains along with all the outbuildings of the Ranch Headquarters.

Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 50 percent of the rent. Long Term Stay booking is confirmed with a deposit that is 50 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due on arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 14 or more days prior to arrival, all payments (less 2 nights rent) will be refunded.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 100 USD is due on arrival. When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 5 days of departure., Groups of young adults may be subject to a larger deposit., Long term rentals may be subject to a larger deposit.

There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of all neighbours.

Property is not suitable for persons under the age of 4. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at the pool/hot tub. A security deposit of 100.00 USD is not included in any calculations for the 'Total Rent' or 'Booking Notice'.
Group & Min. Age Policies
There are group or minimum age requirements. Adult guests must be 25 years or older., Allow groups of families or couples., Maximum of 6 adults and 6 children.
Pet Policy, Deposit & Fees
Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies. NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.
Cleaning on Departure
A fee is charged for Cleaning on Departure Fee of 35.00 USD is charged on every week(based on a minimum of 0 weeks) Cleaning fee to be paid locally to Third Party/Resort
