Downstairs you have a nice living room (english antique furniture, double sofa, satellite TV) a bright kitchen (with gas cookers, electric oven, refrigerator and washing machine) and a bathroom with shower cabin. Upstairs you have the bed and the closet. The cottage can house up to 4 people. The cottage is located 5 minutes walking from Santa Maria in Trastevere on a hill which is linked to the street by a flight of about 50 steps (height 15 cm each). I have to admit that when I first saw this cottage I fell in love with it. I was fascinated by it and by the surroundings. I thought "I want to live in a romantic and quiet place like this. It is a place where you can enjoy after a day visiting Rome and share for a pleasant stay with friends"

    'We had a brilliant time!' Our beaming visitors say Béral is the perfect getaway for adults and for kids. The traditional 18th-century farmhouse in white Quercy stone is matched by the splendour of its private pool, large terrace with ping-pong & barbeque, orchard and exquisite setting. All has been sensitively restored to be characterful but with modern conveniences. The property is set into the side of a hill, with everything facing south; the terrace, pool and gardens are spread out to give wonderful views over the fields of sunflowers. Inside, the farmhouse has a large main living room, with stone and whitewashed walls, a traditional corner kitchen and a beamed open fireplace. To either side are delightful bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a king and a cot if needed. All the rooms have views over the valley. The upstairs bathroom has a hipbath with a shower, and a toilet. Downstairs are two more bedrooms - both with antique floor tiles and two single beds - and a second bathroom. The house has been tastefully restored to retain all its ancient character, but with modern facilities throughout. The house is particularly well laid out for a single family or two families together. But the upper floor is also fantastic for a couple traveling alone. There are too many attractions in the area to suggest more than a few. Among the distinctive villages, Lascabanes has beautiful flowers and a lovely church; Lauzerte, high on a hill, a carefully restored bastide with a remarkable town square and good festivals; Saint-Cirq Lapopie, a 45-minute drive up the Lot, is the most famous village of the area, a medieval town in a spectacular cliffside setting hanging over the river - good restaurants too; Montpezat-de-Quercy has a beautiful arcaded square, and half-timbered houses. Rocamadour is not far away. Figeac is well worth a visit, with its museum to Champollion, who cracked the code of the Rosetta Stone. With the porous limestone prevalent on the causse, there are important caves in the area. The most famous is the huge underground village of Peche Merle, with its prehistoric paintings and traces of early man (up the Célé river from Cahors). The most well-known museums in the area include the Toulouse Lautrec museum in Albi (which also has a wonderful red-brick cathedral), the Musée des Beaux Arts in Agen, and the Musée d'Ingres in Montaubon. There are many other types of museum covering every aspect of Quercy life. Among the cathedrals and abbeys, apart from Albi, you might consider driving to the wonderful abbey at Moissac, which also has a stunning set of well-preserved cloisters. 'I thought I would drop you a line to let you know what a wonderful time my family and I had at Béral. You are truly lucky to own such a beautiful house set in picturesque countryside. We all felt that the improvements you had made complimented the house and were in keeping with its origins. It's the perfect place for people who love a quiet place in the nature, which is near the seaside and the city of Athens. It is a newly renovated house. The interior design offers very good functionality and it is very good equipped. The house offers very good isolation from the outside temperature and it is full air-conditioned. The exterior design offers a beautiful garden and vegetable plot, garden furniture, shower, grill equipment and a small but lovely above earth pool. Although the house isn't situated in front of the sea, its location is very competitive, because it combines simultaneously easy access to the beach and to the grocery and to the public bus service. Our free transfer from and to the airport or the city center at the day of check in and check out offers a benefit for the quests. The alarm system offers a safe stay for the quests. We offer, free of charge, bicycles for use of all our visitors. My wife and I are available during the renting period. We visit the house every two or three days, in order to clean the pool and to take care of the garden. At the east side of the coast, about 10 km far from the house, located the beach named Schinias. This beautiful beach offers a combination between sea and pine forest. There is a great offer of water sports too. At the south side of the coast located the beach of Nea Makri. This beach is very beautiful conformed to palm tree garden. Here, you can find many cafés, restaurants, taverns and music bars. Remarkable is the easy access to the public bus service. The bus stop is about 400 m away from the house. There is a daily bus service to Athens city center and return, every hour, from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm. Of course in Athens offers many famous places to visit and a lot of walk in order to feel the life of this city. If you have more time and a car, it is very interesting to visit the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion (Attica region), the ancient area of Delphi, the Rocks of Meteora or you can the ferry from Rafina Port to Andros Island and the ferry from Agia Marina Port to south Evia Island.

    Casa is an independent apartment located on the third and top floor of an ancient palace ( there is no elevator ) dating back to the 12th century, whose entrance is located in an old and tiny square right in the heart of the historical centre of Amalfi, only 50 meters away from the sea and the beach. Access to the apartment is up an internal flight of stairs , 74 steps long (two minutes walk) . The privilege of this apartment is that it enjoys a wonderfully convenient and central location , as well as being very quiet and peaceful. Fine food shops and a variety of coffee bars and restaurants are just outside the door. Within a few minutes walk away are most of Amalfi’s main attractions , as well as the sea side promenade , the tourist port to board ferries to reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, Salerno , and the bus station for the SITA buses that connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast. The accommodation is fully air conditioned and has the open-plan living/dining room/kitchen and a complete bathroom at the entrance level, whereas on the upper floor you will have the two bedrooms and a second bathroom with only a sink and a toilet. The rooms on this level have sloping ceilings with the maximum height of 2.30 meters at its highest point and of 70 centimeters at its lowest point. The interiors have been recently refurbished throughout to provide comfortable accommodation. The rooms are simply, yet tastefully decorated and furnished with nice and modern furniture. A car is not necessary in order to stay at the casa. The town offers great bus and taxi services. But if you have a car, it is possible to reserve a parking space in a private garage , roughly 500 meters away from the house, to be confirmed on time of booking. Accommodation ( approx. 90 sq. M. Indoor) : Entrance is directly into the open -plan kitchen area with four-burner gas stove with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
