Okanagan Wine Festivals (Spring & Fall): With four annual wine festivals, the Okanagan Wine Festivals Society provides an experience for all who love fabulous wine accompanied by great food and events. The Icewine Festival at Sun Peaks Resort provides an event where you can enjoy both skiing and fabulous wine education and food. The Spring, Summer, and Fall Okanagan Wine Festivals are set in spectacular Okanagan Wine Country - home to the coolest wines in the New World! With events that run up and down the valley, consumers will always find something great to do. There are more than 56 wineries to visit, from larger, diversified operations and huge cellars, right down to smaller family-run wineries. But, they all have one trait in common: world class wines that continue to win medal after medal at the world's leading competitions.
Great Okanagan Beer Festival (May): Nestled on the beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake and right in the heart of the city of Kelowna, Waterfront Park will become host to 30+ breweries, pouring beers from across North America and the World. Great Okanagan Beer Festival will be a three day festival, offering patrons a mix of exclusive cask events, beer and brewing seminars, and a beer sampling main event pouring for an estimated 2,500 beer drinkers.
Center of Gravity Festival (July): The Okanagan's biggest adrenaline-fueled sports and music festival.
Okanagan Food & Wine Film Festival (October): The Okanagan Food and Wine Film Festival focuses on the food and wine industry in British Columbia with a spotlight on the Thompson Okanagan region. The film festival will capture foodies, wine enthusiasts, farmers, culinary experts, sommeliers and documentary film fans to Kelowna. All films will be screened at the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave., Kelowna, BC.
