Windemere lake is a 5 minute walk from the property. The sand and rocks beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is a public dock.
The kinsmen beach is 5 blocks/minutes away by walking. Stop at the Station family restaurant on your way by. Swimming area, tennis courts, ball diamond nearby. Moorage for boats is at a different location, 5 minutes drive at Pete's Marina.
Ski/Board Out is a 25 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot. Ski/Board In is a 25 minute drive from the resort parking lot.
Panaroma ski hill is 25 minutes driving on winter roads. Most skiers choose to stay at the hill but the restaurants and other amenities are somewhat limited, better to stay in town where there's more choices.

We spent eight days in this rental house and were very happy with it. It was comfortable, roomy, and had everything you could wish for. Very close to downtown and hot springs. I would highly recommend it to couples and families .

This home was the perfect rental for our two-family + dog ski vacation! The house has a cabin-y feel to it, which makes it comfortable and cozy! Love the hot tub and fenced-in yard. Plenty of room for the kids to run around both inside and out, lots of sleeping arrangement choices, and conveniently located in town! Thanks so much, we will be back for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped home. There was plenty of room for four couples plus extras if needed. A true home away from home, with a hot-tub. Wonderful lines of communication with the owner helped to simplify the process and answer all of our questions. Will return soon!

My husband, myself and our two four-legged children stayed here for a quick getaway in November. The house is great, tons of space - altho we only used one bedroom and just the upstairs area. It had everything we needed or could have wanted, with one small exception, no hair dryer - so be sure to bring one.
The yard is fantastic - huge and roomy, yet treed enough to provide shade and some privacy. It is completely fenced in and our two small dogs loved it.
Hot tub is great - just out the back door and perfect for relaxing.
We will definitely stay here again when we next go to Invermere.

Loved our recent stay and look forward to coming back again in the future. Property was close to amenities, but still in a quiet neighborhood. Property was clean and very comfortable, felt just like home. Enjoyed the fenced backyard with our dogs and great to relax in the evenings. Property owner was very quick to reply to any inquiries and promptly looked after any issues we had.

Two grandparents, four parents and four grandkids (ages 3-6) spent four days together enjoying the nearby lake, the backyard and the comfortable basement family room. It was a good spot for our family to gather, to play and to celebrate lots of birthdays with no one feeling they had to be the host. It is a plain, low maintenance sort of place where we could relax and be together.

This is an excellent rental property in a convenient location in Invermere. It is a short, 5 minute walk downtown and equally close to the lake shore. The expansive yard is private and there is a large jacuzzi tub to help make your vacation a relaxing holiday. This bungalow has been impressively renovated and has a great layout with the master bedroom tucked away from the recreation areas of the home. The open concept and post and beam highlights give this bungalow a very comfortable feel. It has plenty of sleeping space and is a great home for your family or group of friends; there is even a crib in the master bedroom! The house is fully stocked with everything you could need, the appliances were top notch and to top it all off, the owner was readily available, honest and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again in the near future.

Enjoyed our stay over in Feb '12...lots of room, hot tub, great views of deer right outside, 30min from Panorama ski hill...
Small downside...we brought our 20month old son and the back entry is adjacent to the basement stairs and down a few steps from the main kitchen, which made it a hazard for our little guy. If you have little kids, bring a couple gates or do what we did and place some chairs in the way :-)

Had to be extra cautious with him around there, but otherwise this is a great place, hope to come back someday.

My apologies to the guest, but there is a baby/toddler package available that includes a baby gate, use of the baby crib, and baby chair, all of which are stored in open access areas. It is a very high quality composite gate that fits at the top of the stairs.

Our daughter, who just turned 5, grew up at the place so it can be made to be very baby friendly.

Its up to the guest to book these for a set up fee of $50, Ownerdirect personnel should have made them aware of this.

Kinsmen Beach is only 5 blocks away for skating on the lake in winter. Enjoy easy access to some of the best golf courses in Canada; Greywolf, Eagle Ranch, Copper Point, etc. The Valley offers exceptional hiking, biking, hot springs, mini golf, go carts, beaches, white water rafting, scenic float trips, horseback riding, ATV tours, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile tours and much more. Don't bring anything but an intent to relax. 2 golf 4-somes, 2 families, Panorama Mtn resort 25 mins.

Large private yard with an outdoor hot tub and is close to downtown Invermere. Fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove, fireplace, TV, DVD, stereo, patio, BBQ & patio furniture and brand new 60gallon hot water tank. It has a foosball table and washer and dryer.

Bathroom supplies: there is bulk shampoo & conditioner, hand cleaner, towels & face cloths in each bathroom. Wheelchair accessibility is through front door by moving wooden walk onto top step. Please do not allow adults on the top bunk of any of the bunks, they have a 100pd weight capacity.

Xmas and new years weeks bookings: because of the critical nature of these weeks, the entire rental amount and deposit will be do at time of booking; cancellations are permitted but refunds will only be given if the unit is re-rented, no exceptions whatsoever.
