Great! Love the walk-out! So easy, especially with kids. This was our second time staying at the Maui Sunset, so we knew how special the property was. The only issue was cleanliness at points. The sheets were stained, and some of the appliances needed a good cleaning before use. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the place thoroughly.

Wonderful place to stay! We had such a great time here! This specific condo has a better view than any of the others at this resort. You can walk right out to the beach. Very comfy and cozy and a great host!

Family Holiday Everything about our stay was perfect. The condo was spacious and spotless. It was fully stocked with beach equipment. We didn't need anything. The people are unbelievably friendly. The lawn and beach were superb. We could watch the sunset every night. We have never taken a vacation as a family, and this was PERFECT!

Great Suite, gorgeous spot! We really loved Maui Sunset for our Christmas vacation with our three teens. Steps from the beach, beautiful views and sunsets, perfect lawns, lovely pool and deck. It's a very busy place, but it feels safe and had a nice, family vibe, no all-night partying, even on New Years Eve. We loved the suite, especially the open kitchen/living room and all the amenities. The only drawback was the gym was so small no more than two or three people could train at a time, although the equipment was quite good for a small hotel gym. Bigger room would be a huge improvement.

Slice of Paradise!! This condo is wonderful! The patio is large enough to be a "hang out" place. The view is spectacular. The layout is functional and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and serving equipment and the center island makes it possible to serve brunch to a group or be used as a large table to play cards when it's a bit too windy to play on the patio. We DEFINITELY hope to book this condo again soon!! Thank you for letting us be guests.

Maui Sunset B122 We enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset! The unit was clean and well maintained. We had excellent views from the first floor unit, easy access to the beach and the pool. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this property.

Maui Trip The condo was as described. The location was great. It was not completely clean when we arrived. There were used coffee grinds in the pot, the floor was gritty, and the sheets were not washed. The washing machine was broken and we had not been told beforehand. There was constant construction noise from the adjoining condo. When we finally got a response from the manager after notifying him about these things, we were told that a new washer would be delivered (5 days into our trip). So one of our vacation afternoons was spent waiting for the delivery. The concerns about the cleanliness were basically ignored. For the price we paid, and our trip being a week long, we think we should have been told beforehand about the washer and the construction.

great family location the best feature of this condo is the location , beach front- but with a large open grassy field- which was perfect for our kids to play on. the condo was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. everything was nice an clean. one small issue is the beach isn't great for swimming , due to the coal and rocks on the shore, but there are many swimmable beaches very close by ( within a mile). every night you get a front row view of the sunset which was great. i would 100% book this room again

Weddisng Newly renovated unit, but furniture should be replaced as they are not complimentary to the renovation. The air conditioner in the guest bedroom was so noisy it was hard to sleep in that unit. We thought a safe was supposed to be provided, but none in unit. Location is excellent and the renovation was well done. Did not realize that it was so hard to swim at the beach, and based on our age would not recommend your location for people that would prefer not to drive to the beach. So I responded no you recommending your property and would inform our friends about the beach. Hawaiian Paradise Vacation The rental was amazing!! The open kitchen/living room was perfect for our family of 5. We absolutely loved opening the sliding doors to the lanai which was wonderfully done with lights and fans. We will definitely stay in this specific condo again as it was perfect!! We also had a flight out at 9:25PM and they were gracious enough to let us check out at 1:00PM. I cant praise this condo enough if you are looking to stay somewhere Condo B122 is for sure your BEST bet and the premium on the listing does mean that this is a premium condo.

Always a great time We've been staying at the Maui Sunset for the past 16 years and have loved it every time. The ground floor unit was perfect for us this year. Still had a nice view with easy access to the pool, shuffleboard, BBQ grills, and the of course the beach. Loved it!

Love this place! We are a family of 5 traveling from NY. I did a lot of research before booking our VRBO. This property exceeded our expectations. Morning walks on the beach right out from our room. Fully stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella etc. Quick drive to grocery store. We explored all areas of Maui and this location felt right in the middle of them all

Grounds dug up all around us The unit itself was very nice, however, the beautiful view from the patio (which is major reason this unit was chosen) was all torn up and blocked off by orange netting and digging equipment. Plus, work trucks parked right in front of patio. Very disappointed we were not told of this prior to our stay. I feel like I was misled by beautiful photo of view, with no warning of work being done. Could not recommend as it currently is due to unsightly grounds work. They are putting in new irrigation lines and they have told us owners it will be done by October. Unit B122 We stayed in unit B122 for a 10 day vacation. When we first arrived, the unit was not very clean. Overall, the unit amenities were satisfactory Tory, hohowever, the living room couches and swivel chair were very uncomfortable. The grounds at the Maui Sunset were very nice. With some attention to the cleanliness and more comfortable furniture, this would have been an excellent choice. Great Family Getaway! We had such a wonderful stay. The location was perfect. It was so nice to have the grassy area right off the Lana’i for the kiddos to play. The beach and the pool were used daily. The location is close to everything you could need but you also feel like the world is a million miles away when you want it to be. We feel released and refreshed and had a ton of adventures. Mahalo!

Beautiful renovated unit! Everything was perfect. Upgraded unit, very clean,!everything we needed was in the unit. The only thing missing was a kettle but I just used the microwave. Owners greeted us with a welcome card and bottle of wine/snacks. It’s very obvious the Owners care about their property. View is great and close to shopping. Property grounds are very well maintained. Loved it!

Best Condo In The Building W/Thee Best View!! We LOVED our place we stayed so much! The condo was very nice & clean, the views were top notch, the staff was very friendly & helpful, and the amenities were amazing.The only thing that I would complain about is the hide-a-bed mattress is very uncomfortable but an easy fix for the owners :) We felt like we had the best condo in the building! Absolutely Loved it and HIGHLY recommend it for sure!We will be back again!

Great 10 days We just spent a terrific 10 days at this condo, in Mid-October, 2016. Very happy with this condo. Although we’ve been to Kihei 8 times before, this was our first time at this condo. We chose it because we wanted something where we could walk out to the water directly from the unit, and this was perfect. Also able to have morning coffee on the patio, great. This unit was in excellent condition, newly/nicely renovated. Had both a bathroom with a bath and one with a full walk-in shower. 2 BRs, plenty of drawers & closet space. Only issue with the BRs is that the WiFi only barely reaches back there. In front is spacious living room, nice kitchen, and a wonderful corner work area for my notebook. That’s where the WiFi is, so it is plenty strong there and even out on the patio where I often worked. Grounds are amazing. Gardeners & maintenance folks out every single day. Office staff also very helpful. Happy to give this rental our highest rating. Will definitely rent this particular unit - B122 - again. Winter Vacation 2017 at the Maui Sunset Very nice grounds. Accommodations would have been almost perfect had we not encounter five large roaches in the unit in various rooms. Some linens and blankets need replacing> Specifically those that were stained and unsightly. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did check out the linens and could not locate the problem, its possible they were already swapped out on your departure. Maui is a tropical island and the pests, like roaches can sneak in, especially after a rain when the doors are open. Most of the time they are dead when found as we spray ecolab every quarter. I'm glad our staff was able to react quickly and take care of them for you. Hope to see you back soon!
