Great spot to vacation! The Maui Sunset is a great piece of property, nice condos, grounds are clean and well maintained. The new herb garden is a great addition, and perk. The park and beach is nice. We saw a ton of turtles on the beach. The condo itself was very clean, and had everything we needed, included enough TP for the entire stay, and laundry detergent! Overall we had no complaints.

It’s a wonderful place to stay! We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the location (oceanside) was of these condo vacation rentals. The interior was very recently renovated (tastefully) and the floor was new. As we stepped in we saw how very clean everything was. The layout was a convenient 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. The view was lovely & I could see people enjoying the pool. (We’re beach people). The full cable tv & PVR we’re appreciated too. Air conditioning was fine & the cookware was of nice quality. You will be pleased when you stay here!

Great Family vacation!! We had such a great trip!! We had 42 family members and when I called to book such a large group they were very helpful and worked hard to get us as close together as possible. The grounds were so well taken care of and the rooms were roomy. Being able to walk out to the beach each day was great. We had several young children and the beach was great for them. They also loved the swimming pool. Most of the rooms were updated but a couple had older carpet and one room the carpet had several dirty spots. Most of the furniture was great but a couple chairs were big and not comfortable. Overall It was a great place and we would return. Beautiful sunsets each night!!

Beautiful Manicured Grounds The grounds were extremely well manicured and beautiful. We stayed 3 weeks in a 1 bedroom (Premium). We were not real happy with the unit. The Air conditioner could not keep up, the stove oven gage did not work, os it was a guess as to temp, the carpet in our unit had a large pucker down the middle of the living room and the drapes needed to be replaced. (Several holes and major water stain). The new mattress was very nice and comfortable. We stayed in unit A315, it needs a face lift ASAP.

Prettiest grounds of all places to stay The grounds and landscaping are phenomenal!!! The best master Gardener ever! The maintenance crew cleaned every day without fail. The pool and hot tub were cleaned every day. Maui Sunset is the only place I will stay while in Kihei, Maui.

Perfect beachside property No road between this property and the nice beach! Very clean and well maintained. Beds very comfortable as were linens and pillows! Perfectly appointed except for travel coffee mugs! Bring one of those from home or better yet, buy a new souvenir mug!

Great location and able to watch the sunset from the balcony Maui Sunset is on the ocean with no road between the buildings and the ocean. The grounds and pool are immaculate and there are grills available for use. The unit is not handicap accessible, the bathroom doors are too narrow for wheelchair access and the toilet is normal height. But if ambulatory there are grab bars in the walk in shower and bath/ shower combination. We purchased a stool for the shower. The kitchen was well equipped. The drapes could be replaced as they are very worn. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby, including Yee’s orchard stand about 3 blocks away with great fruit!

Great location for a vacation! Overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and the ground where in fantastic condition as well as the pool area. Gym set up and rules were slightly frustrating however...instead of key changes just use set hours like the pool and let folks determine if it's too crowded. It was difficult to get an early workout in and would suggest a much earlier opening time for the gym.

Overall a good stay Overall the view was nice, location was central and the room was nice and spacious. I wish we could have gotten more towels (if this was an option it wasn’t advertised). My only major gripe is the gym system. Walking to the office to change the key is a pain especially if you’re in the other building and what’s worse is the hours. No one wants to wait until 8 or 9am depending on the day to go to the gym, especially those of us coming from the mainland that are wide awake at 5am. Put a code lock on the gym door or something and have it open at 5am. Response from Maui Sunset Vacation Rentals; Friday, October 6, 2017 Aloha! So glad your group picked the Maui Sunset for accommodations. Hope you all had a wonderful time! There should have been a set of towels in each bathroom, and additional in the linen closet or drawer in living room. Great stay with great people Was an excellent place to stay and very family friendly. Had a bit of a hard time getting a hold of the maintenance staff but other than that was excellent. The trip booking staff was excellent to deal with and Autumn went above and beyond from Hawaii Adventures.

I loved maui First time in Kehei. Condo was nice, besides the noticeable stain right in the middle of the living room, not the cleanest. Had to clean the sink and counter. Not enough toilet paper for 7 days for 3 girls. Called housekeeping but they never brought some. For first time condo rental maybe you should put on your website buy your own coffee, toilet paper, ect. Other wise grounds were beautiful.

Comfortable condo with great sunset! The condo was as described. The bed was comfortable and the unit was quite clean on checkin. Checkin was seamless. Lots of cooking ware and bowls, plates etc. There were no spices except two salt shakers so if you plan on cooking, and the BBQs seemed to be well used, you should bring some spices. The condo was hot and there is a patio door with screen in the bedroom but you couldn’t leave it open because it opens to the condos walkway. During the day when we were there we left the main door open and the door to the lanai and had a good cross breeze. Other than that we used the air conditioning which worked well. 7 nights on Maui Grounds well keep, good parking and clean condo. However, the bed was hard as a rock and we had to buy a mattress topper. We had NO TV service, I called maintenance & left request for help. No call back~~~ nothing. It would of been nice to have evening news.

Clean, Quiet and Great Location The property was very clean, but the unit we were staying in was in need of updating. Furniture, carpet and drapes need to be replaced. We enjoyed our stay and will come back on our next visit to Maui.

Maui Sunset staycation We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset condo, however it lacked amenities in the condo that we stayed in for our family of (5! We only had 1 1/2 rolls of paper towel, 3 rolls of tissues, and there were no cleaning/disinfection products, and no mop or bucket to clean up with. In addition, we had to ask for blankets, pillows, and more towels. The cleanliness of the condo was not overlooked either. They can spend a little more time on cleaning. I cleaned the storage closet of layers of sand on the floor and shelf,and I also washed down the kitchen floor and corners. The condo was inadequately stocked. We loved the location and our view was beautiful.

Perfect place to stay-convenient and comfy Perfect. Very nice location, excellent views of beach and sunrise over crater. Well-laid out and comfy for five. Some might not consider it "luxurious" but it was everything we could have wanted. Loved our stay here.

Excellent Vacation in Maui Wonderful family trip! Maui Sunset provided us with a backdrop for our Maui vacation. Excellent location. Beautiful grounds of the property. Condo was a bit outdated and sleeper sofa was not that comfortable, however it was a great experience and perfect for our needs.

Fantastic Condo in Paradise! Our 1 bdrm, 2 bath condo at the Maui Sunset was super clean, nicely decorated, had an amazing view, and was stocked with everything we needed. Each morning we made breakfast and took in the beautiful view of the grounds and ocean from the lanai. We were amazed at how clean the property was. I would totally recommend this property (Room A315 specifically) to anyone looking to feel pampered without spending a fortune. The town of Kihei had everything we needed and was a great location for getting in the rental car to head to any other activities that we had planned on the island. It was an absolutely fabulous experience - so much so that we are hoping to come for two weeks next time with our kids and their spouses!

Having laundry and kitchen inside the unit was a huge deal for us. The unit also had 2 A/C (one in each room) and the only reason why I removed one star is because the A/Cs were pretty laud and the one in the big room wasn't very efficient.

Thanks to the taxi driver that was helpful with us using the phone to get the key. Maybe guest could be let aware of what happens with after hour arrives.
