This Chalet is a contemporary, alpine inspired, vacation rental chalet situated above the village of Kimberley Alpine Resort, near the Bavarian town of Kimberley, in the East Kootenay Canadian Rockies of British Columbia Canada.

Surrounded by fir, cedar and spruce forests and with true ski in and ski out access to Kimberley Alpine Resort's Kootenay powder slopes, right off our back deck, the five star charm and abundance of amenities will have even the most discerning guests, relaxing and enjoying the chalet and the areas countless activities, in no time.

This Chalet has been well-appointed with a custom kitchen, a double porcelain farm house apron style sink, new dark stained maple engineered hardwood floors, 18 foot ceilings in the great room, 2 unique barnboard clad gas fireplaces, knotty pine wood accents and in floor heat throughout the entire chalet, a unique 9 foot Amish built fir, farm house style heritage table for your large family or group gatherings to enjoy, air conditioning and a hot tub on the back deck. These are just a few of the delightful amenities that you will appreciate during your stay at our Kimberley Vacation Rental chalet.

This vacation rental Chalet is completely equipped with all the amenities of home, and then some, that you will appreciate including our exclusive plush Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobes, our high thread count pressed cotton sheets, additional cozy throws for wrapping yourself up on the large leather sectional sofa in front of the roaring fire, while you enjoy that movie on our Bose and 65” Samsung 4K SUHD, LCD HD 3D TV theatre sound system, our signature spa bath products and our own craft roasted and ground coffee, an assortment of black and herbal teas, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, pepper, tin foil, stretch wrap, zip lock bags, dish washing soap, hand soaps, household cleaners, paper products including ultra plush toilet paper, facial tissue, a fully stocked kitchen including dishes, cups and utensils for 26, bake and serve ware, Paderno stainless steel cookware, J A Henckels knives and serving tools, Cuisinart waffle iron, coffee machine, griddle, popcorn popper, hand mixer, coffee grinder, tea kettle and a Ninja blender system, all so you can relax and be pampered while enjoying the beauty of nature literally outside your back or front door.

The Chalet is less than a 5 minute drive to Kimberley’s main street, the Platzl where you will find a selection of boutique shops and stores, our town bakery coffee house and a selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Our Kimberley vacation rental chalet is also only a 2 or so minute drive to the village at Kimberley Alpine Resort, should you not want to ski or board to the village from our chalet, where you will find some restaurants, pubs and a boutique sport shop along with a coffee and deli café. If you are not a skier or snowboarder, you can also enjoy snow shoeing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, golfing or just going for a walk on the many trails right out our door.

This Chalet is a short distance from the Kimberley Nordic Trails where you will find kilometers and kilometers of maintained cross country ski and snow shoe trails which lead into the vast 1,800 acre Kimberley Nature Park. Once in the Kimberley Nature Park, you will enjoy endless biking, hiking, snow shoeing and cross country ski trails. Our Kimberley vacation rental chalet is also a short bike ride to the Northstar Rails to Trails which is a maintained and paved trail created on the old Kimberley Rail Line. The Rails to Trails links the community of Kimberley with Cranbrook through a 25km stretch of trail that winds along some of the most beautiful mountain sides and through some of the most breathtaking river and creek valleys in British Columbia’s Kootenay Canadian Rockies region.

More adventure can be had trolling the many “blue ribbon” trout streams and rivers in our area or you can delight in a picnic along the shores of the many streams or lakes nearby, soaking in the warm British Columbia sunshine as you watch your family or friends enjoy the lasting memories made during your time at Northstar Chalet.
