Policies, Terms, & Conditions
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ABOUT MAKING YOUR RESERVATION AND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL AGREEMENT
In consideration of the monies received and mutual promises, the owner of the Rental (Property), through its agent the property manager agrees to rent to the Renter the Property, under the following terms and conditions:
RESERVATIONS: can be made online, or by calling our reservations desk during regular office hours. Online booking requires the acceptance of terms and conditions and valid credit card information. Rentals require 50% Advance Payment for reservations made 31 days or more prior to the arrival date or 100% payment for reservations made within 30 days of the arrival date. All reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. Availability changes constantly, therefore we are cannot guarantee an available date with a verbal “Hold”. Requested dates are not secured until the deposit has been received by either, Pay Pal, wire transfer or on-line credit card processing and renter has received confirmation. A guest may secure a rental date previously requested by another guest if payment of the required rental deposit was received prior to receipt of the rental deposit from the guest originally requesting the date. Please call or email to confirm open dates. This website does not always reflect accurate availability. We strongly recommend securing your available date with our secure on-line credit card processing (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express only). This is the best way to ensure that another guest does not reserve the same date you requested. We will e-mail credit card processing information to you upon request. You will be linked to a secure website that will process your information.

PAYMENTS AND BALANCE DUE: The total rental Amount is due at time of booking on reservations made within 30 days of the arrival date. An advance payment of 50% is due at time of booking on reservations made 31 days or more prior to the arrival date and 2nd payment balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. The property manager shall have the right, without further notification, to deem the reservation cancelled without refund of advance payments if the final payment is not received when due.
PROPERTY DAMAGE WAIVER (PDW): is included in every rental in lieu of a security deposit. PDW will protect you for up to $3,000.00 in damage, inadvertent acts or omissions during the duration of your stay. Renter must immediately notify the Property Manager of damages during your occupancy or the insurance coverage will be void and you will be responsible for damages. The PDW contains restrictions, exclusions and limitations that may apply. The PDW plan does not cover negligent acts or willful misconduct.
ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT: Renter agrees to pay for electricity consumption at the end of rental term. Meter will be read upon arrival and prior to departure. Electricity consumption will be deducted from electricity deposit. The balance shall be refunded to the Renter at check out.
ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS:

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF. The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

RENTALS MORE THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$500 PER BOOKING for 1 & 2 BDR CONDOS, US$750 PER BOOKING for 3 & 4 BDR CONDOS, US$1,200 PER BOOKING for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF. Every 30 days we will read the meter and collect payment for the consumption. The meter can be self monitored daily. The deposit will be held until check out when we do the final meter reading of the last 30 days. We will collect the LAST payment from the deposit and return the difference to you on the day of departure.

ADVANCE RENT PAYMENTS, SECURITY DEPOSITS AND BALANCES: All payments are deposited into the property managers account at Banco Popular, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Non-refundable reservation fees and insurance may be disbursed upon receipt. The disbursal of advance rent payment may be made upon the rental arrival date or a material breach of this Agreement,
TRANSFERS: Renter may transfer from one week to another within the same Property only within the same calendar year subject to availability. All requests for transfers must be made in writing and received by the property manager, at least 60 days prior to arrival date. There will be a $150.00 transfer fee plus additional rent charges for transfer to a higher rate season. No refund will be paid if moving to a lower rate season.
INSPECTIONS: The property manager has the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Tenants shall vacate the premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.
PETS: No pets are permitted, NO EXCEPTIONS. IF AN UNAUTHORIZED PET IS FOUND IN ANY RENTAL, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AGREEMENT, TENANTS MUST VACATE THE PROPERTY AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. IF A PET IS FOUND AT CHECK OUT WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF ANY SECURITY DEPOSIT AND/OR $250.
SMOKING: No smoking is permitted in any the property manager Property. Smoking is permitted outside the rental units. Guests are responsible for providing their own receptacles and for discarding Smoking Materials. Evidence of Smoking or remains of Smoking materials anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of entire deposit or $250 cleaning charge.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Overcrowding beyond the occupancy limit specified for the Property including children, may not be exceeded. Renters will be subject to eviction, loss of any security deposit, additional cleaning charges, and entire rental payment if over-occupancy occurs.
FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT: Properties are individually decorated. Décor reflects the taste of the owner and varies widely. Homes are equipped with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, and basic appliances. Bed linens and towels are provided. Please be sure to pack any specialty items that you may require during your stay. Please contact the property manager if you would like assistance with making any special arrangements.
LINENS & SUNDRIES: Linens are provided for use on the premises. Towels, blankets, sheets and other linens are not for use at the beach. Beach towels are provided and need to be returned to the property. There is a $30 charge per beach towel that is missing at check out time.

For convenience of guests, a small supply of toilet paper, dish soap, bath soap, and water have been placed in the unit. However, in the event that any of these supplies should be depleted during a guests stay, it shall be the responsibility of the guest to replenish such items as required to satisfy their own needs. No reimbursement will be made for unused consumables left at the premises. If consumables exist at the premises when the Tenant arrives the Tenant is free to use them.
CLEANING: There will be a mandatory exit cleaning fee. This covers cleaning, inventory and bed making following your departure. If circumstances require more than 4 man-hours to clean, the additional time at a rate of $25/man hour will be charged. If a guest has willingly left the rental unit in such condition requiring more than 5 man-hours to prepare for the next arriving guest or has damaged, stained, or taken “House Property” and the next arriving guest cannot be accommodated as scheduled, the departing guest will be held responsible for all costs incurred to accommodate the new arrival with appropriate alternate accommodations and all cleaning/repair costs. To ensure that all costs are kept to a minimum, the following items should be attended to prior to departure:?Trash must be taken to designated area. Wash all dishes in the sink and return to the cabinets.? Replace all furniture to original locations. ?Bed linens and towels are provided. All used linens should be gathered and placed near the washing machine. Any washed laundry that has been dried shall be folded and left on the appropriate beds. Housekeeping will complete the wash and make all beds. ?Attend to any stains on bedspreads, mattress covers, carpets or upholstery when they occur.
POOLS: Renter agrees to be solely responsible for the use of swimming pools. No glass or glass containers are permitted in pools. Pool rules and hours of operation are to be followed and respected as posted in the swimming pool area. Quiet hour starts at 10 PM so outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum. It is the renter’s responsibility to learn about safety precautions, warning signs of water conditions, and safety procedures concerning swimming in or being around the pool. Renter agrees to have a responsible adult supervising minors while they swim in the pool. Renter is hereby notified that the pool can be dangerous and renter accepts fully the risks involved. Renter is further notified to be cautious when exiting the condo complex as the pool is open and in close proximity to the entryways and can be a hazard. There are no rails to prevent a fall into the pool.
TELEPHONE & WI-FI INTERNET USAGE: We do not provide phone service. It is expected that you will bring your own phone.? High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service.
CONDITION OF PROPERTY: All equipment in the Property should be in good working order. Please report any inoperative equipment to our office immediately. Every reasonable effort will be made to promptly repair inoperative equipment. No refunds will be made for inconveniences resulting from inoperative air conditioners, appliances or mechanical failure. If a condition occurs that affects the habitability of the Property, The property manager will make its best efforts to relocate Renter to another available rental property. If another rental property is not available to relocate Renter, then the property manager will refund any unused days of the rental period.
DESCRIPTIONS AND RATINGS: Every rental property is rated according to condition and amenities to help with your selection. See Rental Property Rating. Every effort has been made to ensure that property ratings, descriptions, and distances to area attractions: golf, beach, and water access are accurate; however, the Property Manager is not responsible for changes made to furnishings or equipment, or errors in descriptions.
ITEMS LEFT BEHIND: The property manager is not responsible for articles lost, stolen or left behind in homes. Please double-check for personal items prior to your departure. There is a $100 return item fee to cover the cost of mailing and shipping of left behind items. The property manager shall not be held liable for condition of said items. If items are not claimed within 60 days, they shall become the property of the property manager.
LOCKOFFS: Please respect these locked closets, cabinets, or rooms. They are NOT INCLUDED as part of your rental.
RESTRICTIONS: Renters are required to abide by rules and regulations for the property in which they stay. A guest services guide is located in the property and includes applicable rules and regulations along with guidelines for the rental property use, check-out procedures, emergency numbers, and other pertinent information. Renters expressly acknowledge and agree that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that Renters do not intend to make the property a residence or household.
CHECK-IN: Arrival check-in is 4 PM on the arrival date. If you are unable to check-in before our offices close, please email us for late arrival instructions. You will be provided directions to the Property, key code or keys upon arrival and payment in full. In extreme situations check-in time may need to be extended for cleaning and maintenance.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10 AM on the date of departure. Please observe this rule as housekeeping staff needs time to prepare the Property for the next guests. RENTER MAY BE CHARGED UP TO ONE (1) ADDITIONAL NIGHT RENTAL IF PROPERTY IS OCCUPIED AFTER CHECK-OUT TIME. Upon leaving, please secure all windows and doors, wash dishes, and clean out the refrigerator. Trash should be placed in either the location designated in the guest services guide. Leave used beds unmade. Renter is responsible for leaving the Property in a like arrival condition upon departure. If your rental requires extra cleaning because it is left in a condition unlike arrival, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests during the high season between December 1st and April 30th. Housekeeping personnel will arrive shortly after your scheduled departure and require all the time available to prepare the unit for the next guest(s).
LATE CHECK-OUT: In case the renter(s) need to stay longer than 10 am on check-out date, notice should be given to the property manager at least 48 hours in advance. $30 will be charged for 1-hour late check-out, $50 for 2 hours late check-out.

DAMAGE AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Damages occurring during the occupancy, including lost keys, electric gate remote, and TV remote controls are the Renter’s responsibility and must be reported to the property manager immediately. Two (2) key sets will be issued at check-in. There is a charge of $50.00 per key set, $100 per electric gate remote charge, $30 per beach towel, for each item not returned. If the cost of the damage repair or replacement is undeterminable by the time of departure, the Renter shall remain responsible for such costs, exceeding the amount covered under PDW and agrees to pay the property manager promptly. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL CHECK-OUT TO REPORT PROBLEMS.
REPAIRS: Access for the repair or replacement of fixtures, appliances, furnishings and equipment may be made by the property manager during the rental period.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY - Tenant shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc; shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits.
LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES, DAMAGES AND INDEMNITY: a) In the event of fire, eminent domain, act of nature, delay in maintenance, or any other reason whatsoever, Renter agrees that the property manager or Owner’s sole liability as a result of any such condition is a refund of the prorated rental for each day Renter is unable to use the property. b) Renter understands that there are inherent risks associated with any property, including risks associated with the use of pool, hot tub, whirlpool, sauna, grills, etc. Renter represents and certifies that he/she is thoroughly familiar with the proper use of the Property, including any appurtenances, fixtures and equipment in and upon the premises. Renter shall be responsible for Renter’s guests and group members. Renter agrees to release and indemnify the Owner and the property manager from and against all liability or loss should anyone be injured upon the premises during the rental period resulting from any cause whatsoever, except in the case of a personal injury caused by the negligent act of the Owner. Renter further agrees that Renter is responsible and liable for, and will pay upon request any damages that occur to the Property or any portion thereof due to Renter’s or his/her guest’s misuse, or negligent use of the Property or any portion thereof. c) Renter shall not be entitled to any refund or rebate due to delay in check-in, early check-out, unfavorable weather, temporary disruption of utility services, malfunctioning or dissatisfaction with equipment, appliances, furnishings or condition of property, construction and associated noise. d) Renter agrees to hold Owner and the property manager harmless of any liability for injury or damage resulting from accident, injury, or loss of enjoyment resulting from weather, inoperable appliances, or equipment. e) Renter expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss that the Owner may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Renters, and that Renters should purchase their own insurance for Renters and Guests if such coverage is desired. f) Renters agree to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees and expenses that shall be made or incurred by Landlord enforcing this agreement.
TERMINATION: If Renter or any member of his/her rental group violates the terms of this Agreement, then the property manager may, at its sole discretion, terminate this Agreement with no refund of the unused portion of rent and may enter the premises and remove Renter, the members of his/her group and their belongings. A material breach of this Agreement shall include, but is not limited to the carless and reckless use of the Property.
CANCELLATIONS: A Reservation can be cancelled up to sixty-one (61) days prior to the arrival date and one hundred percent (100%) of the deposit will be refunded, minus the reservation fee of $50 and the cancellation fee of US$150. If cancelled between thirty-one (31) days and sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date, fifty percent (50%) of the deposit will be refunded, less the reservation and cancellation fees. There are no refunds for reservations cancelled within thirty (30) days of the arrival date. Any refunds on payments made using a credit card or PayPal will also have an additional 4% deducted from the original paid amount. Cancelled Reservations without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit unless another reservation for the rental unit can be secured. Sub-letting is not permitted.
UNAVOIDABLE CHANGES: the property manager reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel the booking and in this event we will return all sums (but without interest or compensation). In the event of a major change to the booking being necessary, the property manager will inform Renter as soon as reasonably possible, and if the Renter does not wish to accept the booking on this basis, we will cancel the booking and return all sums (but without interest or compensation)

WEBSITE INFORMATION: All descriptions given on the website are made in good faith, but no liability can be accepted for error or omissions.

FORCE MAJEURE: We accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable in respect of loss or changes caused by Force Majeure, e.g. Strikes, Fire, Flood, Closure of Airports, Weather Conditions, War, Riots, Terrorist Activity, or any other event beyond our control.

Thank you for making your reservation with the property manager. We are confident compliance with these policies, terms, and conditions will help all guests have a safe and enjoyable vacation. Renter understands all rules, charges, and fees that may be levied and authorizes the property manager to charge any fee due resulting from violations to this Agreement to his/her credit card.

I201 at Playa Turquesa We stayed in I201 at Playa Turquesa for a week in mid-February. First, the communication with Go Punta Cana Vacations was outstanding. By utilizing the phone, email, and the Hospitality App every question was answered immediately from booking through checkout. The unit is clean, roomy, and well equipped. The location is excellent with many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There were always chairs available on the beach and the location of TOC Beach Bar and Restaurant make this one of the prime beach locations in Punta Cana. The security personnel were polite and cheerful and security was outstanding. I would recommend Playa Turquesa and Go Punta Cana Vacations to anyone. Do not go to the Dominican Republic This rental is upscale (terrazzo floors, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances) and immaculately clean. It is also quite large. However, the building is guarded by several armed guards. Makes you feel safe? Why do they need so many guards? It is due to the high rate of crime in the DR. Also, locals are constantly asking you to buy things or downright extorting tourists for money. All.the.time. The beach is full of seaweed and they have 2 men with rakes and a wheelbarrow cleaning it up. They can never keep up with it so it sits on the beach and stinks. The rental companies want you to believe that we had just one bad week of seaweed. That is not true and the Cardibean has had a sargassum seaweed explosion since 2011. Do your research. Met a family that ones a condo in Playa Torquesa said they never got in the water all last summer in 2018. Also power goes out frequently in this country as it is a developing country. When the power goes out, you also have NO water. This happened multiple times. This condo has absolutely NO water pressure in 2 of the showers. But the biggest disappointment is that you feel a prisoner in your condo. The beach is smelly and full of seaweed and if you leave the complex locals are extorting money. We have had hundreds of guests stay with us over the years. To clarify, there are armed guards in all communities and hotels. Do they not have armed guards in your country? As far as I know law enforcement/security/police in USA have guns the same way they do in the DR. I guess it is a catch 22 - some complain if there is no armed security and some complain if there is armed security. One thing that you do not see in the DR is mass shooting in schools, places of worship, malls, department stores, shopping centers, movie theaters. As of July 2019 in USA there have been 248 mass shootings, 246 people killed, 979 wounded, 2 occurred at a school and 1 at a place of worship. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. You are from OHIO and should know of the recent tragedy in Dayton. A mass shooting was carried out in Dayton, Ohio, United States, on August 4, 2019. Ten people were killed (including the perpetrator) and 27 others were injured. Seventeen of the injured were shot by the gunman, who was killed by police within 32 seconds of the first shots. It could have been worse if ARMED GUARDS had not been there. Seaweed is something that the entire Caribbean and parts of the USA have been dealing with in recent years. It comes and goes and we have no way of controlling or knowing when we will have seaweed. Sort of the same with rain, winds, tropical storms and hurricanes... Mother nature is in charge. Punta Cana and Bavaro count with private electricity company which provides power 24/7. There are times where maintenance is being done and power will go out but usually no more than an hour. Please feel free to discuss any concerns you may have with us before you rent. We feel sure you will enjoy your stay at our condo.

a very nice stay We had a very nice vacations in Punta Cana, unhopefully we had a construction next to the apartment and they started working from 6.30 am to 11.00 pm, at first with loud music included but after we argue they stop doing it. The apartment was nice and clean and also the condo.

Fun and sun in playa turquesa Wonderful location with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Red snapper at the TOC restaurant was fantastic. More info regarding what was available at the local market and obtaining water would have been helpful. Bam market was adequate for just about everything so didn't really need to stop at bigger grocery store for our needs. Less sheer drapes in bedroom would have been nice.

Great Unit! Excellent unit! Go Punta Cana was very easy professional to deal with. I would use them again. The only negative was that there were no screens on the windows and sliding doors, so we had a few bugs when we left everything open. Beautiful remodeled unit.

Punta Cana Vacation Our rental experience was very positive. The rental company was very courteous and efficient. The unit we rented was very clean and well kept. A perfect set up for families. I would definitely stay at Playa Turquesa again.

Awesome balcony! We loved the property we stayed in! It was spacious, clean, had a perfect location and the view from the balcony was gorgeous! We spent most of our time sitting on the covered balcony because it was like a whole extra living room that was enjoyable even in the rain.we would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great but we will go a different way. We love DR and Playa Tuquesa but were not thrilled with out Go Punta Cana Real Estate experience this time. The fridge was missing a piece that never got replaced and we were told when we checked in that we could not get anyone to clean the condo mid way through out stay. In the end Carla got us someone but we were told they could not do that any more during high season even if we stayed a month. The condo had no table and chairs on the balcony for eating and we were told it was our own mistake. I know it was but couldn't someone have gotten us a plastic table and two chairs from Ikea. And then in the end no one showed up to check us out at the prearranged time.

Love this place! We absolutely love this condo complex! We have been visiting here for the past 6 years and the complex keeps getting better. This is our second time in this particular unit and will say that it could use some upgrades. The couch and ottoman have large tears in the seams, the bedding is not the greatest but for the convenience to the beach it was worth looking past these small items. I do hope they refresh the place though.

Planning to come back! Playa Turquesa is a great place to stay if you want to be by the action in Punta Cana without having to commit to the expense of the all-inclusives. We like to eat at local restaurants and cook for ourselves, but we also like to be on the beach with a great pool. This place offered all of that! Great place!!!! Everything was great! The only thing that was a little off was that there are no screens in the windows. And although the office said there was nothing to worry about I did get bitten by several mosquitoes. The second thing was that the 4th bedroom of the kitchen was so tiny and had no we had to sleep in the living room. There was no door in the 4th bathroom that was inside the 4th bedroom. But other than that everything else was awesome.... Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful family vacation spot We had a wonderful holiday vacation at Playa Turquesa! The condo was exactly as pictured. The views of the beach were fabulous and the appoinments of the unit were fantastic. We rented two units at Playa Turquesa and they were both great. Our family enjoyed playing on the beach, which was cleaned everyday, the staff at the beach and pool bars were very friendly. Were were able to book several excursions through the office and El Caribe Tours, all were helpful and the trips off property well worth it. The market onsite was also very convenient to pick up basic needs, the full grocery store in San Juan was an easy taxi ride. We very much enjoyed our stay and would welcome another vacation at Playa Turquesa again!

You want this place! We were two couples and really liked the place. We were there during low season for tourists (late April) and loved our privacy. Very easy getting to the beach, pools, and parking. There is a nice shade deck area on the beach with a small bar. We rented a car. Driving wasn't a problem for us - just watch out for the huge speed bumps and remember the motorcycles don't really follow the rules. We bought groceries at the big supermarket but the little market right at the end of the condo complex was well stocked. Bought a big jug(5 gal) of water at the supermarket and used it on the water cooler at the condo. We ate many of our meals out at nearby restaurants. Our two favorites were D'Angelo's Pizza & Pasta and Balicana Asian Food. Carla, from the rental company, is wonderful and was very helpful before and during our stay. She met us at the apartment, explained things and gave many suggestion of places to eat and visit. I do wish she would have provided a detailed map of all her suggestions because I'm sure we forgot a couple. We used El Tour Caribe for our scuba and snorkel trip. The owners live in the complex and were very friendly and helpful. Great security and clean grounds. Oh yes, went to the bakery, just outside the gate, for coffee and pastries every morning.

Not exactly what we expected Property and place was nice. Disappointed that there was construction and painting going on but sure it would be nice when done. Disappointed that the swim up bar was not functional/closed as this was one of the draws. Beach was beautiful but we were not told of the excess sea weed for that time of year. Great stay at Playa Turquesa I-201!!! Playa Turquesa is a beautiful gated community with two excellent pools, mere steps to the white sandy beach and warm waters and represented in our case by a very professional rental company in Go Punta Cana Real Estate. Within a short walk you have all the conveniences you could need. There are plenty of nice restaurants, small grocery stores, shopping, bakery, fruit stands and of course some tasty libations. The beach is great and the water soothing. You will have to deal with some seagrass occasionally but it isn't a problem. You can walk for miles if you choose on the beach and you'll come across some shops and big resorts. You'll be glad you chose a condo and your own freedom once you see the sardine set up they have for guests. Our beach was nice and quiet with plenty of space and plenty of chairs to suit everyone. Shaded areas as well and food and drink available at the beach if you chose to indulge yourself. The condo itself is excellent with all the modern conveniences of home and you certainly will settle in like it's home. Spacious and inviting with a nice view of the ocean. We would certainly recommend both PT Unit I-201 and Go Punta Cana Real Estate if your looking for an excellent stay in Punta Cana! They can help arrange airport transfers for you and they are prompt and courteous. Playa Turquesa is a can't miss place that will definitely give you plenty of opportunity to make some great memories. We hope to return again as soon as possible.

Overall, a very nice stay! The condo was as pictured, and very nice. The view was even better than pictured. Condo had a slight musty smell, as do most in the Caribbean, and while we were there, the electricity and AC went out some. Note that you have to pay extra for electricity here. Can't say much for Playa Turquesa itself; no beach service to speak of--they didn't help with chair or anything, just stood there a watched you struggle. There are no cabanas, shade or beach umbrellas here. Plus, they just bring food from Citrus restaurant it you want to order, and it's not that great. The beach area is wide and the water is beautiful, but don't expect anyone at Playa Turquesa to know anything about anything, especially in the front office. Go PuntaCana Real Estate, on the other hand, was a great company to deal with and took care of the AC and non-working grill quickly. Note too that you have to buy your own water here--those big 20 gallon type deals.

Beautiful condo on a magnificent beach. We had a group of 8 stay in our unit. It was very roomy, clean, close to beach, and had a fully equipped kitchen. All the conveniences you have in your own home. The staff was always a phone call away and were very accommodating if we had questions. The property turned out to be better than expected. We were in walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants. The only issue we had was finding our taxi at arrival at the airport. We were swarmed by 30 drivers trying to get us to take their taxi. Even though we looked for our guy (who should have been there holding a sign with our name on it), the continuous requests coming at us was a bit overwhelming. I would verify with the staff which airline terminal you will be arriving in. Part of our group came on Southwest, which seemed to be the cause of confusion. The cab ride was only about 15 minutes. Be aware that electricity will cost you. We ran the air conditioner at 80 degrees during the day, and 75 at night. We ended up paying 280.00 in US currency for one week in June. I still highly recommend using Go Punta Cana and staying at this beachfront community!

I-201 Playa Turquesa Playa Turquesa is a fabulous place to stay. This was our 2nd time and we will be back. We had a different unit last time that we liked better as it got more of the ocean breeze through and it didn't back up to the back parking lot. This was quite noisy early in the morning. This unit was very nice but wasn't as clean as our first time staying at this complex. But all in all it was fantastic!<br/>

Family Vacation Six of us stayed in the condo and had a great time. The condo itself was clean and the perfect size. The location was fantastic. Both pools were pleasant although a little cold. The location to the beach was wonderful. Our children enjoyed the beach toys that were included with the condo which was a nice touch. The two downfalls was we had no hot water in the condo. We finally mentioned something about the 5th day in and they were able to fix it but it was still a downfall. The other was the constant pestering of the locals to shop in their stores. I realize this is their form of income but I would prefer not to be bothered at the private beach when I am trying to spend time with my children. Lise and Edwar who we booked excursions through were fabulous and made sure we got to everything. Overall the vacation was amazing even with a few bumps in the road.

fantastic month in Playa Turquesa BUT! This is my second year in the same unit. I love it's spaciousness and location.The condo itself was clean and very well stocked--absolutely no complaints.Check-in was seamless and Annie was a joy. Bam supermarket is amazingly well stocked.<br/>Here comes the BUT.<br/>My twin,2/1/2 year old grandchildren and a friend, swam in the children's pool. It did look a little cloudy but it was the end of the day so we thought it was just lotion. The little girls both ended up with vaginal infections! The boy had an eye infection.which was treated with drops.<br/>Long story short, my grandson spiked a 40 degree temp throughout the week and had to fly home with it (which was torture) Went to emerg. upon arrival in Toronto-- was told he had strep/ear/severe eye infection.<br/>All through the week, I told anyone who would listen about the dirty pools and the fact that there was smeared feces around the pool. They told me the pumps were not functioning, the feces were there for a few days!!!<br/>COMMON SENSE: CLOSE THE **** POOL .<br/>Summary: The baby is still recuperating a month later, still trying to regain his strength.Streptococcus can be deadly to little kids!<br/>This caliber of complex should not have this kind of issue, the grounds are immaculate, therefore the pools should be too.<br/>Hopefully, this will be a wake-up call.

Wonderful condo and vacation We had one of the best vacations ever here (we have rented condos many times from various owners in several countries). The condo was perfect for our needs. It was a great location and we loved the community. It was very quiet, which is what we wanted and we often had the pools and even beach to ourselves. We never had to fight for space. Perfect spot! This wonderful condo was fantastic for our family of 8 (6 adults, 1 child, 1baby). It is a great alternative to an all-inclusive resort. We were there during low season for tourists (Oct.) and loved our privacy. Very easy access ro the beach, nice shade deck area on the beach. We bought groceries at the super market (by car) but the little market right at the end of the condo complex was very well equipped. We ate many of our meals out, mostly walking to wonderful nearby restaurants with great prices. The rental company was very responsive and helpful before, during, and at the end of our stay. Also enjoyed easy access to El Tour Caribe for our scuba and snorkle trips--owners live in the complex and were so helpful. Everything was perfect from the pick up at the airport to the beach just steps away to the vicinity of local shops and restaurants and the many excursions we took part in. The DR is a great place. Just brush up on your Spanish and you'll be okay.

This is my second year in the same unit. I love it's spaciousness and location.The condo itself was clean and very well stocked--absolutely no complaints.Check-in was seamless and Annie was a joy. Bam supermarket is amazingly well stocked.<br/>Here comes the BUT.<br/>My twin,2/1/2 year old grandchildren and a friend, swam in the children's pool. It did look a little cloudy but it was the end of the day so we thought it was just lotion. The little girls both ended up with vaginal infections! The boy had an eye infection.which was treated with drops.<br/>Long story short, my grandson spiked a 40 degree temp throughout the week and had to fly home with it (which was torture) Went to emerg. upon arrival in Toronto-- was told he had strep/ear/severe eye infection.<br/>All through the week, I told anyone who would listen about the dirty pools and the fact that there was smeared feces around the pool. They told me the pumps were not functioning, the feces were there for a few days!!!<br/>COMMON SENSE: CLOSE THE ***

We had one of the best vacations ever here (we have rented condos many times from various owners in several countries). The condo was perfect for our needs. It was a great location and we loved the community. It was very quiet, which is what we wanted and we often had the pools and even beach to ourselves. We never had to fight for space. The condo itself had everything we needed and we would love to go back.

Six of us stayed in the condo and had a great time. The condo itself was clean and the perfect size. The location was fantastic. Both pools were pleasant although a little cold. The location to the beach was wonderful. Our children enjoyed the beach toys that were included with the condo which was a nice touch. The two downfalls was we had no hot water in the condo. We finally mentioned something about the 5th day in and they were able to fix it but it was still a downfall. The other was the constant pestering of the locals to shop in their stores. I realize this is their form of income but I would prefer not to be bothered at the private beach when I am trying to spend time with my children. Lise and Edwar who we booked excursions through were fabulous and made sure we got to everything. Overall the vacation was amazing even with a few bumps in the road.

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.
