Terms

Rental Rules/ Contract

1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. HST AND CHECK-OUT IS 11 A.M. HST
NO Early Check-in or late check-out. If guest is still in room after check-out time there will be a charge equal to one nights rent plus tax.

2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. No smoking in the unit or on the patio/balcony. Hawaii legislature enacted State Law 295, effective November 16, 2006, which prohibits smoking in all enclosed or partially enclosed areas open to the public. Violations will result in fines.

3. Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions.

4. DAMAGE/LOSS/DISTURBANCE POLICY - The condo unit is individually owned and decorated. Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment or items from the unit. Guest will be solely liable for any additional costs, charges, expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items or excessive check-out cleaning. Neither the Owner or Manager will be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Manager will use its best efforts to ensure that all equipment within the unit is in good working order, although neither Manager nor Owner guarantees that any equipment will not break down during your stay, and therefore such a break down does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments for any such mechanical failure. In the event of a break down, Manager will use its best efforts to remedy the situation as soon as possible after notification of the break down. Guest understands that there is no guaranty that properties adjacent to the unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors, and any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Guest also understands that Hawaii is located in a tropical climate and that insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. Although Manager will use its best efforts to hold to a minimum your interaction with these pests during your stay, Guest understands that contact with pests does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to refund or rental adjustment. Any issue will be reported to Manager or Owner immediately. Guest understands that Manager and Owner shall have a reasonable amount of time to restore rental to acceptable conditions and any issues presented after check-out can not be remedied and shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A non-refundable damage/reservation deposit of 25% is required and must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts and is applied to rent upon arrival.

No additional damage charges will be charged if:

a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked, and master key left in lockbox.
d. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
e. No linens are lost or damaged.
f. NO Early check-in or late check-out.
g. Parking passes are left inside the unit upon departure. (Depending on the particular resort.)
h. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the security company employed by My Complex.


6. PAYMENT (S)

Payment is due in full if reservation is made within 30 Days of stay. Otherwise 25% of rental amount is due upon receipt and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.– Lockbox code will be given out after final payment is received.

If not paying by credit card, you may pay traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashier’s checks or personal checks in USD

The advance payment is a damage/security deposit until arrival. The payment is nonrefundable. This secures your vacation rental in lieu of others wanting to vacation on or during the same time period.

7. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to (4) in studio condos and (4) guests in a one bedroom condo, (4-6) in a two bedroom and (8) in a three bedroom according to the allowance by the State of Hawaii. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE (3), (5) or (7) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY depending on season.

8. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is accepted for less than required limit of days, the guest will be charged the night rate.

9. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. A starter supply of coffee, creamer, sugar, hand soap, trash bags, paper towels, shampoo and conditioner and laundry detergent. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. Parking is extra at certain resorts. See 14. PARKING PASSES.

10. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate, however it may be available at an additional rate.

11. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice but will not affect existing rental contracts..

12. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

13. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

14. PARKING PASSES – Parking passes are located inside the unit. for Kuleana, at the Royal Kahana, Pohailani and Paki Maui you must get the pass at the front desk but there is no extra fee. At the Honua Kai t and Kaanapali Shores there is a parking fee per day paid directly to the resort and has nothing to do with us.. Both of these resorts you must secure your pass through the front desk. There isn't a pass required at Kahana Villas. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter's expense. Leave the parking passes inside the unit upon departure. There is a $50. charge to replace lost Parking Passes at the Kuleana Resort only.

15. HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY (beach property): No refunds will be given, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

16. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend your purchase travel insurance. Please ask about this service.

17. CHARGES. Excessive cleaning of the unit will incur a minimum fee of $50/hr (one hour minimum). Damages made to the unit will incur a minimum of $60/hr (one hour minimum) to cover the cost to fix, and replace, plus the cost of the replacement or any materials. Should there be damage that requires a professional that charges more per hour (plumbing, contractor), market rate hourly charges will be applied. Lost parking permits cost $50 (currently only at the Kuleana Resort), and beach towels not returned are $50/ea.. A damage waiver of $49 is required with each booking. The damage waiver is nonrefundable but will be applied towards any damages made to the unit.

18. KEYS/LOCKOUT POLICY - Your check-in instructions with either a key code or key release information will be provided to you prior to your arrival. It is your responsibility to bring this information with you. In the event a guest is locked out of the unit during the rental period, the guest may borrow a key by coming to the office. After business hours, the guest must call for assistance and an agent will meet the guest at the unit. There will be a $50 charge for this service and this fee is due at the time service is rendered. There will be a $30 charge for lost keys.

19. LOST AND FOUND ITEMS - We are not responsible for lost items. A $35 handling fee plus postage will be assessed for all lost and found items that have been recovered and returned to the guest.

20. RESERVATION CANCELLATION - Owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation with no less than a (90) day notice for any reason and return of entire deposit will be given. Owner/Manager has the right to cancel reservation if any maintenance issue beyond owner/managers control that would take away from the guests enjoyable stay or be deemed unsafe. Immediate notice will be given to the guest and all efforts will be made to relocate guests into other accomodations owned or managed by the Property Manager or full refund made.

21. CANCELLATIONS: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a Cancellation fee forfeiting the 25% damage/reservation deposit. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation, shortened stays or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.

22. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in.


I hereby authorize charges to be made against my credit card for the rental, taxes, cleaning and fees, and any damages, supplies and/or labor caused to the unit during my stay per this contract. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance. Is like you see on photo It was great and clean, just a deception... no access to beach and any place to make a pic nic ... If you just want to stay in your room and travel all day is perfect but if you think is like a resort with commodity around go away !

55th BD & Thanksgiving in Maui This was our 8th trip to Hawaii (5th time to Maui); by far the worst condo we’ve rented! I’m not sure why they charge a $49 “Damage Waiver” as the condo is already pretty damaged?!? The walls have nicks, holes and black scrapes. The ceilings have major water damages throughout. Everything is very old and worn. The appliances are old but work except the largest electric burner. The clothes washer worker sometimes, after getting the “start” button to unstick. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and the newly updated shower had great hot presser! Response from Epic Realty LLC; Monday, December 4, 2017 Hi Dawn, Thank you for your feedback. Couples Getaway We stayed in Maui for a long weekend couple getaway from Oahu. This condo was a little further from Lahaina then we ancipated, but worked out just fine. We were close (within walking distance) to some good restaurants, bars, and beaches. The pictures of the condo looked like we would have more of a ocean view and that it was a little more updated. We were very comfortable in the place and it had all everything we needed. We were looking for a view of the ocean from bed, but the view is really from the porch. The condo is quiet and right on the beach, great for sunset walks and a romantic getaway.

Royal Kahana The room was clean, the Royal Kahana well located, the pool great, the concierge and reception staff friendly and helpful. The kitchen was difficult to work in given zero bench space and sadly was poorly equipped (no wine glasses, grater, potato peeler, salad servers, whisk, tea strainer, garlic crusher, fruit bowl ie the basics. We booked a room with a kitchen so we could prepare meals. This was our only complaint and it would take very little to rectify this.

Royal Kahana #205 Royal Kahana #205<br/>It was a beautiful walk first thing in the morning, down to the south end of the sandy beach in front of the RK, to watch a large number of turtles feed on the algae growing on the rocks at the water's edge. Up close and personal, they are huge! The Royal Kahana studio #205 was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable. Loved the king bed and the soft beach towels. Good for budget minded folk like us who care more about location, amenities and value. The studio is located on the northside of the bldg. so no direct sunlight but with a an ocean view and is very quiet. Great location- 2 minutes by car to Napili and Kapalua Bay! Fantastic snorkeling everyday at these gorgeous beaches and just a little ways further up the road at Slaughterhouse Bay and Honolua Bay. Loved the Thai and fantastic BBQ restaurants in Nipili Plaza. Would definitely come to the Royal Kahana again.

Terrific Studio We just returned from our visit to Maui where we spent eight nights in Kihei and three here at the Royal Kahana #205. I was with my two daughters (ages 14 and 17) and this studio suited us well. The view (on the side of the building) does look out onto the ocean, but it is not located on the back of the building for a direct ocean-front view. However, the studio does have a beautiful ocean view, nice little patio, and is fairly well equipped. We found #205 to be clean and were thrilled to have access to laundry inside the unit. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the description of this condo was spot on. Bring snorkel gear (or rent) as there is an abundance of sea life right outside the Royal Kahana. We made the mistake of driving to a recommened beach, but found this to be a more comfortable snorkeling experience. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. We enjoyed time in Lahaina, which is just a short drive away from this condo. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Although to see the $99 summer special advertised just after we returned (end of July) is a bit frustrating. That's just like paying full price for something and then you see it on sale the next week. <br/>We enjoyed: The Lavendar Farm, Paia (loved the Paia Fish Market), went to a Luau (have to do it once), woke up at 2:00 a.m. to drive to the crater to view the spectacular sunrise, hiked at Kahakapau (after the sunrise and breakfast), went cliff jumping, saw some spectcular waterfalls, etc. All in all, this was a fantastic vacation and we certainly would recommend stying at the Royal Kahana for it's price and location. If you are a couple, or small family then #205 is the perfect condo for you!

Royal Kahana #205 The room condition needs updating, cleaning, and repair. The stove top looks like it's falling apart, the ceiling has water damage, the washing machine malfunctioned and caused a flood, the carpet was dirty, drawers were difficult to close...we were not pleased.

MAUI 2017 Stay was ok this time. Dealing with VRBO was a no hassle and a pleasant experience. Knowing what room you have prior to arrival gives<br/> you a sense of security. In the past we have had to deal with a male manager at the desk. It wasn't pleasant. I would definitely use this over the more popular vacation internet sites.

Keep the windows open This was a nice and cozy suite, if a bit dated in furnishing, and it was great to hear the ocean waves crashing from the bed. However, there was a really strong smell of mildew that necessitated us keeping the patio door open (my partner has allergies). I'd definitely give this place a miss if you have allergies or asthma as it was pretty overwhelming. We also saw quite a few cockroaches - I know it's almost inevitable in a tropical place - but it was quite the welcoming party. We spent most of our time on nearby Ka'anapali Beach and in Lahaina, and we loved the Coffee Store in Napili up the road. I don't think I'd pick to stay here again, but once we got settled in it was pleasant.

Fabulous! For the amount of time we were there it worked out well. Would have been nice to have a little more space but we were happy with the location. Loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. We sat on the balcony every morning and watched the whales swim by. It was a fabulous experience. Tony and Helen were both very accommodating when necessary. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. I would definitely recommend staying here and would consider staying here again. :)

Honeymooners We loved the room. The bed was amazing. The pillows could have been better, they didn't have too much support. We would recommend memory foam supportive pillows. The room was clean and very quiet. Great view of the ocean. A full size coffee pot would have been useful as well. Overall we were very happy. We loved the shower! We would totally recommend this condo and would love to return one day soon.

Couldn't Be Better for us!!! We loved the condo and location.The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were so soft and heavenly! We were very happy sitting on the deck each morning eating breakfast with the ocean view. We would stay here again in a heartbeat in this very unit. Price was right! the staff was reliable and they had the aloha spirit! Thank you for making our trip awesome and memorable!

Five Stars for Royal Kahana We had a fabulous time in suite 205. Highly recommend the Royal Kahana resort condo. The beach right outside the condo was fantastic, great location close enough to Lahaina (10 minutes) but far enough way to enjoy the quiet low-key vibe. The resort staff were extremely helpful and friendly and Helen from Epic was amazing!<br/>The only recommendation - the kitchen needs a kettle for boiling water. Mahalo!!<br/>

Maui vacation 2014 The room was perfect, the view was awesome, and the location of the hotel was in a great spot. bars and restaurants are a very short drive especially to front street that has lots of great places to shop! The beach at the resort was small but there were beautiful beaches and bays only 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel, Maui is the best vacation spot in all of Hawaii!!

Wonderful Condo!! I searched for weeks before choosing this condo for our 32nd anniversary trip to West Maui. Royal Kahana #205 became the perfect choice. It lived up to all our expectations. Inspiring view from the lanai. The bed was heavenly (a huge thing for my wife's back). Its a nice resort far enough away from the huge crowds but close enough to get to all that Maui offers. The Manager was very accommodating for our special request. The room is a bit dated but we absolutely did not care. The resort is very well maintained. (Hint: Park in the basement garage and ride the elevators to your floor!)<br/> If you love snorkeling go to nearby Honolua Bay. If you love breakfast go to the Gazebo Restaurant for Mac-nut pancakes and Fried Rice. The Sea House was excellent for dinner without breaking the bank.

Studio at Royal Kahana Feb 1 - 8 2016 Great time with our family - also staying at the Royal Kahana. Grandchildren loved the pool and the beach. Good location for access to roads and sights. the only drawback was that the guest computer access wasn't working and we couldn't check in and print our boarding passes when it was time to go home. The receptionist didn't seem to think that she could help us at all, so strange. I would expect that the reception desk could help me at this facility the same way that a hotel receptionist would have done. (i.e. organize computer/printer access through the desk computer).

The Greatest vacation! Epic Realty is just that, EPIC! Our trip to Maui was the best vacation we had ever been on and a lot of that had to do with Epic Realty and their manager Helen. Helen was always a phone call/email away and made certain that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Our room at the Royal Kahana was in a great location. It is right in the middle of everything you could want to do with a 5-10min drive in any direction. The room and the property were very clean with helpful staff. To top it off the balcony has an amazing sunset ever night.

Maui Adventures We stayed in the unit for a little over a week. The unit was as described. We would suggest adding an additional mirror to the unit (the bathroom is smaller and that would have helped our group get ready for the day easier). It was nice that there was wireless internet. Royal Kahana is located in a nice area, close to most of the things we wished to do. It was quiet. The unit has a beautiful view off the veranda. We did have an issue with the dryer not working, but contacted maintenance and they responded and rectified the problem quickly (within 15 hours). We would also suggest the welcome book get updated. It would have been nice to know more about the amenities available at Royal Kahana (ie. gym, pool hours, concierge, snorkel rentals etc) and the restaurants and grocery stores near us. Overall, the unit was comfortable for 4 adults. Our stay in Maui was wonderful.

Royal Kahana studio - March 2016 Once we FINALLY were able to get the correct access code to enter the rental, it was very nice and we had a good experience. The staff at the Check-in desk were very nice but not very helpful. We had to keep phoning the Realty multiple times to get someone to give us the correct access code to get into the apartment. The pool area was very nice but next to the pool, the Cabana Café staff were very slow and not able to handle much at one time. The beach are outside the condo had erosion problems and was off limits for most of our stay. Despite these problems, we had a good time.

Love Royal Kahana! We enjoyed our trip here, this is a very nice resort. Convenient to dining options and shops, beautiful beach area, well-kept lovely grounds. This unit had a nice view (higher floors would be even better), great AC, and fairly nice furnishings overall. Love the washer/dryer in unit, and nice tiled shower. Great toiletries in bathroom. <br/><br/>I recommend a few things for this unit, however. Replace the mattress! It sags and seems old. Also, add a few more dishes, like plates, coffee cups and a micro dish with lid for veggies, etc. Coffee filters would be a nice touch. Please clean the bathroom window screens! Very dusty. Also adding a bit of info for the TV/DVD, and overall resort would be helpful. Also info for dining and shops nearby would be helpful. This was our first stay in West Maui, but we will be back!

We were very comfortable in the place and it had all everything we needed. We were looking for a view of the ocean from bed, but the view is really from the porch. The condo is quiet and right on the beach, great for sunset walks and a romantic getaway.

The room was clean, the Royal Kahana well located, the pool great, the concierge and reception staff friendly and helpful. The kitchen was difficult to work in given zero bench space and sadly was poorly equipped (no wine glasses, grater, potato peeler, salad servers, whisk, tea strainer, garlic crusher, fruit bowl ie the basics. We booked a room with a kitchen so we could prepare meals. This was our only complaint and it would take very little to rectify this.

Royal Kahana #205<br/>It was a beautiful walk first thing in the morning, down to the south end of the sandy beach in front of the RK, to watch a large number of turtles feed on the algae growing on the rocks at the water's edge. Up close and personal, they are huge! The Royal Kahana studio #205 was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable. Loved the king bed and the soft beach towels. Good for budget minded folk like us who care more about location, amenities and value. The studio is located on the northside of the bldg. so no direct sunlight but with a an ocean view and is very quiet. Great location- 2 minutes by car to Napili and Kapalua Bay! Fantastic snorkeling everyday at these gorgeous beaches and just a little ways further up the road at Slaughterhouse Bay and Honolua Bay. Loved the Thai and fantastic BBQ restaurants in Nipili Plaza. Would definitely come to the Royal Kahana again.

Great time with our family - also staying at the Royal Kahana. Grandchildren loved the pool and the beach. Good location for access to roads and sights. the only drawback was that the guest computer access wasn't working and we couldn't check in and print our boarding passes when it was time to go home. The receptionist didn't seem to think that she could help us at all, so strange. I would expect that the reception desk could help me at this facility the same way that a hotel receptionist would have done. (i.e. organize computer/printer access through the desk computer).

Once we FINALLY were able to get the correct access code to enter the rental, it was very nice and we had a good experience. The staff at the Check-in desk were very nice but not very helpful. We had to keep phoning the Realty multiple times to get someone to give us the correct access code to get into the apartment. The pool area was very nice but next to the pool, the Cabana Café staff were very slow and not able to handle much at one time. The beach are outside the condo had erosion problems and was off limits for most of our stay. Despite these problems, we had a good time.

This was a nice and cozy suite, if a bit dated in furnishing, and it was great to hear the ocean waves crashing from the bed. However, there was a really strong smell of mildew that necessitated us keeping the patio door open (my partner has allergies). I'd definitely give this place a miss if you have allergies or asthma as it was pretty overwhelming. We also saw quite a few cockroaches - I know it's almost inevitable in a tropical place - but it was quite the welcoming party. We spent most of our time on nearby Ka'anapali Beach and in Lahaina, and we loved the Coffee Store in Napili up the road. I don't think I'd pick to stay here again, but once we got settled in it was pleasant.

The room was perfect, the view was awesome, and the location of the hotel was in a great spot. bars and restaurants are a very short drive especially to front street that has lots of great places to shop! The beach at the resort was small but there were beautiful beaches and bays only 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel, Maui is the best vacation spot in all of Hawaii!!

I searched for weeks before choosing this condo for our 32nd anniversary trip to West Maui. Royal Kahana #205 became the perfect choice. It lived up to all our expectations. Inspiring view from the lanai. The bed was heavenly (a huge thing for my wife's back). Its a nice resort far enough away from the huge crowds but close enough to get to all that Maui offers. The Manager was very accommodating for our special request. The room is a bit dated but we absolutely did not care. The resort is very well maintained. (Hint: Park in the basement garage and ride the elevators to your floor!)<br/> If you love snorkeling go to nearby Honolua Bay. If you love breakfast go to the Gazebo Restaurant for Mac-nut pancakes and Fried Rice. The Sea House was excellent for dinner without breaking the bank.

We loved the condo and location.The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were so soft and heavenly! We were very happy sitting on the deck each morning eating breakfast with the ocean view. We would stay here again in a heartbeat in this very unit. Price was right! the staff was reliable and they had the aloha spirit! Thank you for making our trip awesome and memorable!

We had a fabulous time in suite 205. Highly recommend the Royal Kahana resort condo. The beach right outside the condo was fantastic, great location close enough to Lahaina (10 minutes) but far enough way to enjoy the quiet low-key vibe. The resort staff were extremely helpful and friendly and Helen from Epic was amazing!<br/>The only recommendation - the kitchen needs a kettle for boiling water. Mahalo!!<br/>

We loved the room. The bed was amazing. The pillows could have been better, they didn't have too much support. We would recommend memory foam supportive pillows. The room was clean and very quiet. Great view of the ocean. A full size coffee pot would have been useful as well. Overall we were very happy. We loved the shower! We would totally recommend this condo and would love to return one day soon.

For the amount of time we were there it worked out well. Would have been nice to have a little more space but we were happy with the location. Loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. We sat on the balcony every morning and watched the whales swim by. It was a fabulous experience. Tony and Helen were both very accommodating when necessary. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. I would definitely recommend staying here and would consider staying here again. :)

We stayed in the unit for a little over a week. The unit was as described. We would suggest adding an additional mirror to the unit (the bathroom is smaller and that would have helped our group get ready for the day easier). It was nice that there was wireless internet. Royal Kahana is located in a nice area, close to most of the things we wished to do. It was quiet. The unit has a beautiful view off the veranda. We did have an issue with the dryer not working, but contacted maintenance and they responded and rectified the problem quickly (within 15 hours). We would also suggest the welcome book get updated. It would have been nice to know more about the amenities available at Royal Kahana (ie. gym, pool hours, concierge, snorkel rentals etc) and the restaurants and grocery stores near us. Overall, the unit was comfortable for 4 adults. Our stay in Maui was wonderful.

Epic Realty is just that, EPIC! Our trip to Maui was the best vacation we had ever been on and a lot of that had to do with Epic Realty and their manager Helen. Helen was always a phone call/email away and made certain that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Our room at the Royal Kahana was in a great location. It is right in the middle of everything you could want to do with a 5-10min drive in any direction. The room and the property were very clean with helpful staff. To top it off the balcony has an amazing sunset ever night.

We just returned from our visit to Maui where we spent eight nights in Kihei and three here at the Royal Kahana #205. I was with my two daughters (ages 14 and 17) and this studio suited us well. The view (on the side of the building) does look out onto the ocean, but it is not located on the back of the building for a direct ocean-front view. However, the studio does have a beautiful ocean view, nice little patio, and is fairly well equipped. We found #205 to be clean and were thrilled to have access to laundry inside the unit. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the description of this condo was spot on. Bring snorkel gear (or rent) as there is an abundance of sea life right outside the Royal Kahana. We made the mistake of driving to a recommened beach, but found this to be a more comfortable snorkeling experience. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. We enjoyed time in Lahaina, which is just a short drive away from this condo. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our trip here, this is a very nice resort. Convenient to dining options and shops, beautiful beach area, well-kept lovely grounds. This unit had a nice view (higher floors would be even better), great AC, and fairly nice furnishings overall. Love the washer/dryer in unit, and nice tiled shower. Great toiletries in bathroom. <br/><br/>I recommend a few things for this unit, however. Replace the mattress! It sags and seems old. Also, add a few more dishes, like plates, coffee cups and a micro dish with lid for veggies, etc. Coffee filters would be a nice touch. Please clean the bathroom window screens! Very dusty. Also adding a bit of info for the TV/DVD, and overall resort would be helpful. Also info for dining and shops nearby would be helpful. This was our first stay in West Maui, but we will be back!
