Is "nightmare" too subtle? DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!<br/>Being forced out of your rental by 7:00 am every morning until NO EARLIER than 3:00 pm because they were literally jackhammering the tile in the units both next door and above you? Having the noise level far above the level of an OSHA violation? Having Ms. Lopez, the personal property manager, lie to you over...and over...and over again? Have to say...not a fan! Is the unit lovely? But when I am forced to admit I spent $7,400.00 for a nightmare? Again, not a fan. Did Ms. Lopez, the rental agent (not the amazing people of Mahala), outright lie to us, lead us on with deceptive practices, and then give me a &#x201C;zero&#x201D; for &#x201C;communication&#x201D; when I was in constant contact with her? Oh, yes! &#x201C;...that&#x2019;s why it was discounted...&#x201D; Nay, nay, little buffalo! This unit should have been deemed uninhabitable! And you knew that! I even told you that my beautiful daughter, Sara, had Williams Syndrome and could not handle loud, piercing noises. You ASSURED me there would be...let me quote you...&#x201D; NO DIRECT IMPACT ON THIS UNIT.&#x201D; Wow... Liar, liar, panties aflame. <br/>Shame on you! Shame on the new owners for allowing you to mislead us! Ask the GM for Mahala. They KNEW the noise was unbearable - THEY INFORMED YOU! They were shocked it was even rented out! You continued to lie, deceive, condescend, and mock us. Do not tell me about the &#x201C;Mahalo Spirit&#x201D; Princess. Do not pretend you did not call me on the 7th and lie to me about the work schedule. Do not ever again say you hope the workers, who did nothing wrong, would be visited by bad luck for just doing their job. You are not Hawaiian unless Kirkland, WA, has moved. I only hope those same bad vibes you wished on them follow you down the path. We try our best to put our guests health, concerns and safety at the forefront during their stay with us. Never did I ever wish ill towards any one while speaking with you. We are truly sorry that you feel this way about your stay with us. We did offer you a discount towards your stay, which you happily accepted and completed your stay with us. We will follow up with the GM at the Mahana as this is just as concerning to us. We did inform and pass along to you of all the construction notices that we received as we got them from the Mahana. You also did not ask for a refund until you were finished with your stay. We offered to refund you and you could find other accommodations, but you explained how hard it would be on your daughter. I truly am sorry that you feel this way, but all of us that have worked the desk spoke to you and tried to make this right with you. I personally called the Mahana to see why there was work that you reported being done outside of the posted hours.They explained there was never work being done outside of posted hours, especially at 8pm. I am so confused by your accusations, none of us would ever speak to anyone, nor about anyone that way. None of us have ever lived in WA either, so I am not sure if you have us confused with someone else. I wish you all the best on your future endeavors.
