The ocean is 1 hour away - Port Renfrew, Botanical Beach on the west coast & 45 minutes to the ocean on the east side of Vancouver Island.

If you cancel anytime, payments (less 20 percent) are refunded if the property is re-rented.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due 7 days prior to arrival.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 7 days of departure.

Thank you so much to the owners for making it possible for my family and me to be able to spend Christmas together. We are spread from BC to NS. Your home was absolutely beautiful, not to mention the spectacular view - the pictures don't come anywhere near doing your vacation home justice. The owners certainly provided everything we needed right down to the turkey baster (lol). It was a special Christmas, being my two grandsons' first. 9 adults and 2 babies and there was still lots of room to spare. Thanks to the panoramic view, my daughter couldn't even get upset when her and her husband's luggage was delayed 36 hrs. From our family to yours have a wonderful New Year! We will definitely be returning. Thanks to both of you again.

"The Lake House" is a luxurious, modern house with all the amenities of "home" including a state of the art kitchen and bathrooms. For added convenience there is an outdoor bathroom and shower. This lake front home has stunning views from the bright interior. The swimming area can be accessed from the pebble beach or from the dock, only steps from the house.

This high end vacation property is primarily for the owner's use. Each summer the owner make 4 weeks available for rent to families/mature couples. They can enjoy all the luxuries of a beautiful and well equipped lake home that is kept in excellent condition.

"The Lake House" is a superb retreat for winter vacations as well - a wood stove, heat pump and heated floors provide all the comforts in this home-away-from-home while the Lake provides excellent views and ambience.

Honeymoon Bay, on Lake Cowichan, is a 90 minute drive from Victoria or Nanaimo, with easy access from Seattle or Vancouver.
