We are long-term Bow Valley residents and thus our home features special touches not found in any hotel or typical vacation home, such as games, music, books, and movies. The Condo is 1195 square feet and features a master bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a double sofa bed in the living room. The open concept living room-dining room-kitchen opens onto a large balcony overlooking the Three Sisters and Rundle mountains. Our home has a very comfortable feeling. The view is amazing. Local amenities (groceries, liquor, restaurants) are less than a one-minute walk away. With a five-minute walk you can be in the heart of downtown Canmore - full of shops, restaurants, and galleries. This means that the majority of downtown properties and hotels back onto the rail line -- including this property. If sitting on the balcony, or in the living room with the balcony doors open, you can definitely hear the train as it passes. Once the door is closed, the train is no louder than a car passing. The master bedroom is located on the opposite end of the property. Properties in this part of town were built with extra soundproofing so the train would not be a problem. We can actually hear the train louder from our house (which is 6 blocks from the rail line) than at the condo because our house does not have the same soundproofing.

We are proud of our impeccable furnishings as we are firm believers that an exquisite ambiance can make the difference between a vacation that is merely good, and one that is truly unforgettable! It is likely apparent, even from website photos alone, that this property offers a rather different caliber of accommodation. That is because this property was not furnished to be a vacation rental per se. It was meticulously decorated by the artist-owner to be her second home, and her primary place to rejuvenate.     This house sits right behind the beautiful big Beaumaris Lake, at a quiet corner of a Cul De Sac. This 2 storey house has 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 full kitchen, 1 large dining room, 1 double garage, sun deck in the huge backyard. Within 5 minutes, you will have all the stores you need for your living here. 4 big grocery stores - Save on Foods, Safeway, IGA, and Sobeys; various banks and stores at Namao Center or Northgate Mall; different restaurants with flavors around the world; pharmacies; clinics; gyms; post offices etc. The Rexall Place and the Common Wealth Stadium are the places for sports and concerts, which is only 2.1m away. Within 15-20 minutes of drive, you will be at the heart of the city, or the famous West Edmonton Mall. Or if you care about the scenery enroute, bus #162 at the end of the block will take you straight to central downtown. City Center Mall, Churchill Square, the new ICE Stadium District, all are just beside the bus stops. You will also pass NAIT, Kingsway Mall, and Grand MacEwan University on the bus route. Bus #9 out of Eaux Claires Center will take you all the way to UofA or even Southgate Mall. What a bout a walk around the lake or the park 2 blocks away, after a nice family dinner. Enjoy the seasonal colors and wild life the nature has to offer; talk to neighbors to make some new friends; jog for good health, etc. The Beaumaris Lake community is a very matured community, besides all the facilities an urban life needs, all the neighbors are very friendly and well mannered, you will find that the longer you stay, the more you like this area. It's a very good neighbourhood, but just like most of the houses, we also have a security door system with two cameras outside to provide safety and security for you and your belongings (contact us if you have concerns).
