Conditions of Occupancy
GUEST BOOKING AGREEMENT
•The Guest/Cardholder making the booking reservation and identified as the occupant of Premises on the Guest Rental Agreement must be an adult 25 years old or older and must be an occupant of the Vacation Rental Unit (Unit) during the entire reservation period. An Agreement must be signed and returned to the Property Managerwithin 14 days of making your reservation, or prior to your arrival, if less than 14 days.
•All guests must be registered and on the agreement, this includes the number of pets on site.
•Limited Occupancy: Chelan County and our safety code determine the occupancy level of each home (unit). We do not allow sleeping on the floor, sofas or any other furniture that is not designated as a sleeping area. We do not allow camping in tents, on decks or patios or in RVs or campers on the property. Each vacation rental home has a clearly stated maximum occupancy, which may not be exceeded. Additional guests joining your group up to the maximum occupancy limit must be pre-approved by the Property Manager and additional rent must be paid in advance. Unauthorized guests will be evicted immediately.
•We reserve the right to cancel any reservation made under false pretenses, for families or groups exceeding the occupancy of the house or other legal reasons

Housekeeping: All of our vacation rental homes are completely cleaned and sanitized before your arrival and after your departure by private cleaning companies. If at your arrival there is something you find that is not up to your expectation, or seems amiss, please contact our office immediately so that we can get it resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. We do not offer daily housekeeping service; however, for visits longer than 7 days, a trash pick-up and hot tub check can be arranged for mid stay. Any issues with housekeeping will not be compensated.
Upon Your Arrival: Once you arrive to the property if there is anything that is not to your satisfaction, damages, cleaning issues, etc… please call us immediately at during business hours, after business hours, please call or text, so that we can get you taken care of. Anything brought to our attention after your departure does not allow us the opportunity to remedy an issue and is not privy to any reimbursements. We want your getaway to be as enjoyable as possible, so should the need arise, we want to take care of you as soon as possible.
Parties/Events:
We do not have any facilities for parties or events. If you are planning on an event in the area, please let us know and we would be happy to suggest some very popular and accommodating local options to contact. We do not allow house parties of any kind.
Courtesy to Neighbors: The Guests agrees to use the property in a fashion for which it is reasonably intended. The guests will not act in a manner that will infringe upon other guests' or neighbors' rights, enjoyment or use of property or adjacent property.
•Respect quiet times, and keep noise levels down between 10 PM and 8 AM (Local Chelan County Noise Ordinance). Disruption and/or a call resulting from blatant noncompliance of this ordinance will warrant a visit from the local sheriff. A second call will result in eviction from the property and forfeiture of all fees. We must have complete quiet after 10:00 P.M.
•The following items are strictly prohibited in the vacation home (unit), on the property of the vacation home (unit) or on any property adjacent to the vacation home: no paint balls, no water balloons, no firearms, no BB guns, no fireworks, no cigarette butts, no beer caps, no stickers, no silly string.
•No trespassing at any time on neighboring properties, private property, etc. if we are contacted from a local source that guest(s) are in non-compliance of this request, they will be asked to vacate property by local law enforcement, and will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. Nightly rentals are a very heated topic right now in the area, so it is imperative that rental guests respect and understand they are in mountain communities where people reside and they appreciate that rental guests do not in any way disrupt their use and enjoyment of their private home, just as we would expect them not to interrupt your use and enjoyment of your vacation rental home. We so appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Fireworks/Firearms: A discharge of either of these is not permitted at any time. Use of such will result in eviction from property by local law enforcement, and loss of all fees paid. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Vehicle Parking: Each of our vacation homes has a maximum amount of space for vehicles. Please note that this is for general passenger vehicles, such as cars, pickup trucks, mini vans, and motorcycles. We cannot accommodate any travel trailers, tents, campers, RV’s.
Smoking: All of our homes are non-smoking. We ask that guests who must smoke do so outside only, and use a water bottle full of water to extinguish/dispose of butts. Please do not litter the grounds of the rental home with cigarette butts or matches, at any time as this is a high fire danger area. Ensure at departure of the vacation home rental unit that you dispose of the water bottle securely in the trash, and that all of its contents are extinguished.
Fireplaces & Firewood: Most of our vacation homes are equipped with a fireplace or woodstove. If your home has a wood-burning fireplace or woodstove, we will provide a 3 hour Dura Flame fire log for 2 nights of your visit. You may bring additional firewood with you or purchase it at local stores. If the home has a gas fireplace, firewood may not be burned in the fireplace. This will damage the fireplace; you will be charged for repairs. Do not burn trash or other items in the fireplaces or woodstoves. Please do not make a fire on the day of your departure in any woodstove or fireplace, and be sure that any gas or electric fireplace is turned off prior to your departure.
Outside Campfires & Barbecues: We experience very dry summer conditions and are at very high risk for forest fires, so it is very important that our guests understand the severity of risk involved when not following the guidelines and county restrictions in regards to campfires and BBQ’s. Please do not build fires outside unless there is a specifically designated fire pit on the property. You must provide your own wood for outside fire; we do suggest the outdoor Dura Flame logs to help in keeping sparks from flying. Do not waste the firewood for the house if there is any on site, or cut down trees. Outside camp fires are usually banned by May 31st until Sept.30th. Please check this link for local restrictions Alerts/Notices prior to your traveling to the area. While cooking on BBQ’s, be sure there is someone monitoring the BBQ at all times. Leave coals and ashes from BBQ's, fireplaces and woodstoves where they are. Make sure you clean the BBQ's and turn off the propane after each use.
Bugs, Critters & Bears: Sometimes, furry/feathery residents of the mountain may decide to join you at your vacation home. We hope you enjoy watching the variety of wildlife we have in the area, such as birds, bats, deer, raccoons, chipmunks and the occasional black bear. There are occasionally bears and other wild animals (as well as neighborhood dogs) in the area that would like nothing more than to get into your garbage or to clean the BBQ grill for you. Be sure not to leave any food or garbage outside and to clean the BBQ grill after each use.
Repairs & Service Calls: Because we are in a rural area, it is often difficult to get repairs done the same day we are made aware of their need. Please be patient if something is not working properly and we will do our best to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Amenities: All of our vacation rental homes are fully furnished and include full kitchens with all appliances (refrigerator/freezer, stove top, oven, microwave, toaster, & coffee maker), and all bed, bath & kitchen linens. A full list of amenities for your vacation home will be provided to you when final payment is taken at 30 days prior to your arrival and when all other pertinent paperwork is sent out to you. If you would like a copy of the amenities list prior to the 30 days, please let us know and we will email you a copy. All you need to bring is your food and personal items. Most of our homes are equipped with Sat. or Cable TV, TV, DVD or VHS, CD player, IPOD Docking Station. If there are specific requirements that you seek in regards to any of these items, please do let us know so we ensure you book a property that provides those particular items.
Telephones & Internet Access: Most of our vacation rental homes are within good cell coverage. Verizon does seem to work best in the area as a whole. For those properties with limited to no cell coverage there are land lines provided, the numbers to these homes are for local calls and a guest on site will be able to contact either one of our local area supervisors should they need immediate assistance, and to get into contact with the Property Manager directly. Many of our homes have DSL or Wi-iFi Internet connections that are free for you to use. If the home does not have an Internet connection, there are also several locations around the Lake Wenatchee, Plain, Fish Lake, Coles Corner, and Leavenworth area that provide free Internet access.
Hot Tubs: Most of our vacation rental homes provide a private outdoor hot tub. If there is a hot tub at your rental, please abide by the rules near the tub. Guests agree to hold harmless Owner and/or The Property Manager Inc for any injury resulting from the use of the hot tub. Use of the hot tub is at guests’ own risk. Each hot tub is serviced by an independent, professional maintenance company according to County Health Code requirements. If there is a problem with the hot tub at your arrival or during your visit, please contact our hot tub subcontractor and can assist you to the best of his ability. Do not at any time adjust anything on the hot tub except the jets and lights. If the hot tub requires any extra maintenance or repairs due to misuse during your visit, you will be charged a minimum of $100 for the cost of repairs and maintenance. Please do not use hot tubs after 10:00 PM
Saunas: For our vacation rental homes that have saunas please ensure that timers, heat and any lights are all turned off, and doors are shut securely.
General Amenities: Our vacation rental homes are fully furnished and include full kitchens with all appliances (refrigerator/freezer, stove top, oven, microwave, toaster, & coffee maker), and all bed, bath & kitchen linens. Most of our homes are equipped with Sat. or Cable TV, TV, DVD or VHS, Internet, CD player, IPOD Docking Station. If there are specific requirements that you seek in regards to any of these items, please do let us know so we ensure you book a property that provides those particular items.
Furnishings & Equipment: All vacation rental homes are privately owned properties furnished and equipped by its owner. As such, the Property Manager cannot make any changes to the furnishings or equipment provided by the owner. If you require special appliances or equipment, please bring them with you. Decor, style, and color will vary & furnishings are subject to change without notice. Under no circumstances are furniture, bedding, mattress pads, utensils or any other property supplied with the rental property to be taken out or transferred from one property to another; you will be charged to retrieve or replace rental home property that is removed from the home. Moving of furniture is prohibited; do not move furniture or otherwise remodel the home. You will be charged for the time it takes to move furniture and for any repairs of any damages caused by moving items. Each rental home has a locked storage area for the owner's personal items and supplies; please do not attempt to open locked storage areas.
Security of the Vacation Home Unit: Contracted guest and their guests are solely responsible for the security of the unit; the content of the units, and any personal property of guests during their stay. When the unit is not occupied, all doors must be locked, windows locked, and outside light left on at night. Please be sure that the key is returned to the rolling lock key box when departing the unit. Codes are changed between guests, for the security of the unit and our guests.
Local Weather Conditions: Please be prepared for all weather conditions, as they can change very rapidly. We cannot be responsible for winter weather conditions, so please come over prepared with the right type of vehicle carrying chains, using an AWD, 4WD, or studded tires. Be sure to check the mountain road conditions for updated alerts and possible closures prior to heading over. For your person, please note that ice and snow are a very real occurrence, so we suggest boot chains, warm clothing, etc..so check our local weather forecast . During the winter months our driveways and county roads are plowed. There are no refunds for road closures, if both US2 Stevens Pass and I90 Snoqualmie Pass are closed simultaneously for more than 8 hours, guests will be allowed to reschedule for up to 1 year.

What to Expect When You Arrive: All of our vacation homes are equipped with bed linens, and bath linens (wash cloths, hand towels, and bath towels), kitchen hand towels, and as a courtesy we supply a “starter supply” of 2 rolls of paper towels in the kitchen, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, amenity size shampoo/conditioner/soap, dish soap, D/W soap (if applicable), 2 to 3 loads of laundry soap, hand soap. We do have individual amenities list for each home and that is provided to you once final payment has been take. If you would like a copy of the amenity list for a particular property when you book, and it is before the 30 days, just let us know, and we will happily email you a copy to help in planning your visit. Since each home is privately owned, it is recommended that you bring all of your staples as we cannot confirm that things like salt/pepper, spices, etc…will be on site.
Grounds for Eviction from Vacation Rental Unit with forfeiture of all fees paid:
Please note that the reason for such stringent, yet very attainable, policies is that the vacation home rental market in the area is a very hot debate item right now, and we are awaiting a ruling from the Wa. State Supreme Court after a 5 year legal battle on how, and if, we as a community will still be able to operate. Hence, why it is imperative for all of us to be on the same page, and continue to operate and comply with some normal, no nonsense behavior guidelines. Your enjoyment of the vacation home you have occupied is our number one goal, so that your family, friends and the like, will not only make some great memories, but can indulge in the many year round activities this beautiful area has to offer, and that you will want to come back again and again. So please understand that the items below are the bullet points that truly are ones that we cannot budge on. We appreciate your understanding in helping us in the endeavor of a successful vacation home experience.
• Discharge of fireworks or firearms
• House Parties
• Complaints of noise, loud music, foul language or otherwise any other behavior that is disturbing to the peace of the neighbors are reported
• Number of guests exceed the maximum allowed at vacation home

WOW!!! Very nice location. Host was quite accommodating allowing us to check in early. Everything was in great condition, towels and blankets freshly cleaned. We had a great time walking around the property, laying out at the river, soaking in the hot tub, and just relaxing indoors. Other reviews complain about mosquitos but they really didn’t bother us. As long as you aren’t outside right at sunset you won’t be bothered as well. We noticed that the host took many measures to reduce the bugs which was much appreciated. We had an amazing week here, a real getaway!! Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Tuesday, August 13, 2019 Thank you Dan, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your time and took in the wonderful experience that Far and Away, so uniquely, has to offer. The solitude and privacy are remarkable and the sights from the river are magnificent. It is hard to want to go back to real life when you have the chance to see the incredible beauty that surrounds you there. I particularly love the spring when the mountains still have white patches of snow on the tops. I am so sad when that melts but then look forward to the salmon runs of the fall and the snow fall that blankets it all and silence and just permeates the whole area. When a deer tiptoes through the yard it just make a striking memory because it is all so natural. Thank you for being our guest here at Far and Away and we hope you will return again.

Stay at far and away cabin Very nice stay.. loved walking down to the river. Enjoyed skipping rocks. Dogs had a great time.. wish there was a gate to block the dogs from getting off of the back porch.. I get it is a cabin but do wish it was a little cleaner.. there was food under the couch. Our dogs got scent of. Wish the grill was a little bigger. Loved the wood burning stove. No Tv that was a downer. Hot tub was nice.<br/>We would come again... Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Monday, May 13, 2019 I am so sorry that the doggies found crumbs under the couch. Cleaning is an area we have very few issues normally, but from time to time items are missed and we appreciate the reminder to keep us on our toes. We are extremely cognizant of the need to be extra clean if we want our guests to enjoy a wonderful experience, pets tend to be the ones who can really find anything we miss, so we try to be very diligent. We also have to deal with living in the woods and we do not want any uninvited critters, so thank you for pointing that out and we will be sure to address this thoroughly. We are glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay. We have added WIFI recently, so guests can stream tv, there is also a nice little movie library, I hope those were helpful to you in lieu of TV. Thank you for being our guests and we hope to have you back one day.

Lovely cabin and area, but the MOSQUITOS (Oy!) My husband, senior pup and I had a lovely time at the cabin. It was nicely appointed with plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen equipment. The interior stairs are steep and narrow, so not appropriate for people with mobility issues.<br/><br/>The furniture (beds, couches) was very comfortable. Some awkwardness getting in and out of the tub. Would be nice to have a handle of some sort to grasp. Definitely use the bathtub mat to avoid slipping.<br/><br/>So, regarding those skeeters...when we pulled in we were very excited to get unloaded and explore. But we were blasted with mosquitos. They were absolutely everywhere and bit us all over immediately. We rushed into the house and looked around for mosquito spray. Luckily there was a small supply of it in a basket in the bathroom. There was also a small supply of citronella tealights. So we doused ourselves and proceeded to unload the car. We were able to spend a small amount of time out on the back deck before the skeeters got too munchy. We also attempted to walk down the path to the river. It was completely wet and muddy, and of course covered with mosquitos. We never got to see the river :( LUCKILY the lake is nearby (day use access via the South park entrance) and we were able to enjoy the water that way. Oh yeah, we did use the hot tub one night for a bit. Enjoyable until we had to bail out from being bit.<br/><br/>We really did enjoy our time there. Be prepared for possible mosquitos and bring charcoal for the BBQ. There's a small selection of DVDs, but bring your own if you really want to watch your favorite stuff. I would suggest bringing a Bluetooth speaker and your own music selection (digital or CD).<br/><br/>Finally - if you have a proper vehicle, DO drive up the White River Auto Tour - Stop 2. The end view is AMAZING. You won't see anything until you get to the very end. Totally worth it. But look out for the bitey red ants! They got me too :) We didn't get around to doing the first auto tour. I imagine it's Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Friday, June 8, 2018 Bianca, Thank you for taking the time to write your review, yes, those darn skeeters are bad right now! The owner went out right after your visit and sprayed the entire perimeter of the yard and trail area to the river been checking each day and so far, they are not returning. Will keep an eye on that and stay ahead of are sneaky little critters. We will add more bug spray just in case and have set up a propane style repellant system just as a precaution. Thank goodness they are seasonal. So glad you enjoyed the cabin the otherwise and got to venture out to our beautiful area. I have sent your comments over to the owner as it is always very appreciated to get our guests feedback. We do hope to have you back at Comfy Cabins in the future using your return guest discount.

Beautiful Area to unplug The only downside was the mosquitos were really bad, making it hard to enjoy the property and beach. The Bathroom window needs a screen. Other then that the cabin is amazing and the location is breathtaking. Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Friday, February 1, 2019 Thank you for your comments and input. We have purchased a vast supply of bug products to try and accommodate many different peoples needs. This year we are expanding the area around the house and applying mosquito pellets to the boggy area to diminish the mosquitos. For some reason people were unplugging the mosquito machine that sucks them into the trap so we may need to move it to an untouchable location. It is almost silent so I am not clear on why that was happening. This was our families first year owning the cabin so we intend to attack with vigor this coming year. Luckily they are gone quickly once the weather gets really hot. We hope you will come back again and visit anytime, please be sure and take advantage of the return guest discount. Thank you again.

Beautiful but serious mosquito problem This is a beautiful place. The mosquitos however made it very hard to enjoy our stay. We learned quickly our son is allergic to the bites and this was his celebration. We left first thing this morning as soon as we could and can’t wait to not feel like bugs are crawling all over us. Unfortunately the bugs issue is just too much so we will not be returning. It’s pretty pricey to not be able to actually enjoy the outdoors. We tried to enjoy the hot tub and were unable to do so. We tried to have a fire and also were unable to do so due to the mosquitos. If you think like we did it can’t be “that bad” it is most definitely that bad. If you want a place where you don’t go outside at all, this is the place for you. Also they send the checkout list to you through an app. They don’t have WiFi and there’s no service for miles and miles but expect you to basically clean the entire place yourself when you’re charged a cleaning fee AND have no access to even see the list? Doesn’t make sense to us at all. Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Wednesday, June 27, 2018 Ashley, You are correct about the mosquitos they are unseasonably bad this year. We are so sorry to hear that they made a return after the last spraying. We rushed over there the moment your review came in and brought every concieveable repellant, spray, etc. that they had at the store. I got to the cabin and found that the big 'mosquito magnet' trap that we set up had been shut off. (I posted a sign on it telling people PLEASE do not turn this off, it eats mosquitos!!!) But as I was there doing all of that, very few bugs made an appearance so I think that trap was helpful. We maintain a landline at the cabin and could have brought you mosquito coils and yard spray had you called and let us know. The mosquito magnet trap works very well and when it is left running makes a huge difference. I walked out to the river and sprayed the entire way. Hopefully it will keep the next generation from hatching. It makes me so sad that you did not enjoy your stay, it could have been addressed had we known you were having troubles. I am so very sorry. I also wanted to say that there is NO NEED FOR ANY CLEANING ON THE PART OF OUR GUESTS, not sure where you saw that or why you thought that, the only request we make is that your dishes are loaded dishwasher turned more. When you book with a third party booking agent, they send instructions that are not part of our program. It is helpful to always book direct to save fees and get the necessary information that pertains to the property you have rented. Far and away cabin stay Was fun. Was wayyy far out and about a 45 minute drive to Leavenworth! The sleeping situation is a lil odd but it worked out! I would stay again! Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Monday, January 14, 2019 Thank you so much for your comments. The cabin was aptly named for its remote location, which makes it a really wonderful experience but it is a bit further from town. A very nice and scenic drive however, and the privacy is refreshing for sure. I wish you had been there without snow so that you could enjoy the tranquility of the private river and mountain views. The loft style sleeping is photographed but and has much better photos if you were to view it on the NW Comfy Cabins website, where there is also a 3D interactive video as well. The owners are considering adding a bathroom and opening up the 'bunk house' which would add additional private sleeping arrangements. I hope you will book with us directly next time and save an additional 10% as our return guests.

Our favorite. We loved this place. Very cabiny, just the way we like it, The jacuzzi was amazing and can seat 6. everything was fully stocked, and the would heat stove fireplace was plenty to warm the entire cabin sufficiently. The surroundings of the woods and mountains were made it all the more predestine and beautiful. Although the Kitchen was fully stocked, I would maybe bring a smaller frying pan for eggs, and some zip lock bags or small containers for storing left overs. Other than, I can't think of anything else.. they even had a fully stocked spice rack. I just brought my own condiments which saved on shopping $. Beds were comfortable and everything in good working condition. will come back for sure. Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Thursday, February 7, 2019 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are to thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time so much. Hopefully you will want to come on back again (using your return guest discount) and enjoy the other seasons. The summer on the private beach is hard to match. Once you are on the beach and look back toward the cabin, there are amazing sheer mountains that are so impressive, I always expect to see mountain goats, but I never remember to bring binoculars to really get a good look for them. I guess I better put that on my 'to do list'. Thank you again and please be sure to come back again, we would love to have you anytime.

Definitely Far and Away... A very nice, cozy, well maintained log cabin in a beautiful secluded area with plenty of room for our dogs to run and play<br/><br/>The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking utensils, the furniture is nice and comfy, and there is a enclosed porch with a small dining table and futon on the back of the cabin that would be a great place to hang out in warmer weather. <br/><br/>The only issue we had is that the house is several feet above the ground, which I'm sure is necessary in the winter with the snow, but it made getting our 14yr old Lab up and down the stairs to the yard difficult since he can't climb or descend them by himself. The young guys didn't have any trouble, but maybe something to consider if you have a large senior dog that requires assistance with stairs.<br/><br/>Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. There was also no cell reception. The garbage was not emptied from the previous renter and the animals had strewn the garbage everywhere. We would have liked the drive way to be cleared of snow a bit wider as it was difficult to avoid the over hanging branches. Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Saturday, January 7, 2017 Glad to hear the house was clean, we try to put all bedroom types on our website in the description with the pictures so potential guests are aware of the layout of and am sorry it did not seem to be as you had expected. There is also video tours of the cabin that show all aspects of the accommodations. In all honesty, I am not sure how the bed configuration could have been missed and that is regretful, as the sleeping arrangements are critical when people are booking a vacation getaway. We do our best to make sure guests know if the property does not have WiFi so you can prepare for that so it is listed in the 'important to know about this cabin' and there is a land line that includes long distance. The guest book and also the sign on the fridge state the departure procedures, they are only that the dishes are washed or put into dishwasher and if you are willing to throw towels in the washer, it is appreciated. NO other cleaning is required at all. I am so very sorry that the cleaners forgot the garbage, that is removed after each stay and should not have been left behind. UPDATE: THIS HOME NOW HAS WIFI

Really great place! We had a great time at the Far and Away Cabin! Our family of five were super comfortable and loved the big table for games and meals. We loved that there was no internet -- we played games instead! The sun room worked as a bedroom, sleep with the stars, wake up to sunrise with rocky peaks. Would do it again! Response from NW Comfy Cabins Inc.; Thursday, July 14, 2016 Yay! Awesome, it is good to unplug once in a while. Danny

The Good: Great location, very peaceful. The cabin was perfect for our getaway. Loved the hot tub under the stars. The kitchen was well stocked and appointed. The furniture was comfortable and in good condition.<br/><br/>The Bad: The bathroom floor is very uneven with the large stones. The stairs to the loft sleeping area are steep and narrow - could be an issues for some people. The bathroom was not very well cleaned prior to arrival - dirty sink, dried urine on the front of the toilet, shower curtain stuck together with soap/shampoo residue.<br/><br/>The bathroom was the only problem we had with the cabin, but it wouldn't prevent us from staying there again. The overall size, location, and amenities provided were great. It's a nice scenic drive from Leavenworth to the cabin.

We loved this place so much that we didn't even care that there was only one bathroom for 5 of us. Highlights included star gazing, playing games at the dining table, and sitting by the outdoor fire. We will definitely be back.

I grew up taking family trips to the mountains, and I wanted my kids to have the same experience. What we were looking for was a cozy cabin, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, with lots of snow to enjoy some quality family time. Far and Away cabin delivered all of that and more. The scenery was beautiful, the cabin was perfect for our family.<br/>We had planned on visiting some local attractions during our stay, but we were all enjoying the cabin so much we just stayed there the whole time, playing in the snow outside, playing games and reading inside, and having the cell phones off. It was just perfect - we hope to make Far and Away a regular tradition.

We were looking to get" Far and Away" for a few days with no technology. Cell phones were turned off upon arrival and we never looked back. The cabin was warm and the lights on when we arrived making it feel cozy right away. The view of the mountains and river in the snow was fantastic. There was lots and lots of snow while we were there and we went skiing at Steven a couple of days, snowmobiling at Misty Mountain and just enjoyed the rest of the time playing in the snow.........absolutely magical!! What a treat!<br/>An amazing and restful experience for the whole family. We will definitely be back!<br/>

The house was clean. We did not expect a loft with only curtains dividing the beds. No wifi so e-mails with instructions for departure could not be received. There was also no cell reception. The garbage was not emptied from the previous renter and the animals had strewn the garbage everywhere. We would have liked the drive way to be cleared of snow a bit wider as it was difficult to avoid the over hanging branches.

We loved the cabin and the privacy. Our 4 night stay was so worth it. We especially loved cooking our turkey in the little cabin stove. Our Thanksgiving meal was so delicious. We enjoyed the walks to the river with the dogs. The best part was being detached from cell phones and TV. They have a great board game and DVD collection. We will be back for sure.

I was 100% satisfied with the Far and Away Cabin. What a beautiful cabin on a beautiful property. Loved the private river beach where we spent most of our time. I would 100% come back again. The only negative is I think $650 for two nights for this size of a cabin is a little steep.
