Awesome experience with loon reservation services
Home was very clean and everything as described.Office staff were very helpful and accommodating! House was in great location. Lockbox for enter worked very smoothly! Superb experience!

Loon getaway
overall experience okay except for the deck. The floor paint was peeling, table was dirty and always had water on it.Deck not very clean and not a place you would want to spend time which was unfortunate.

Not in good repair
We have rented this unit in the past. Sadly this year it was not in good repair.<br/><br/>List of safety items that we wrestled:<br/><br/> <br/>Walkway detached from porch<br/><br/>main floor couch broken (no support/sink holes)<br/><br/>mudroom tile flooring loose (minor issue)<br/><br/>rodent droppings interior sliding door jam (many!)<br/><br/>Appliances not working properly<br/>- ice maker working sometimes<br/>- dishwasher rack wheels keep falling off -(minor)<br/>- stovetop burners not level make for safety issue while using large burner<br/>- microwave some buttons intermittently not working <br/>- dryer not drying clothes<br/>- toaster doesn't work properly - doesn't "pop" up (fire potential)<br/><br/>Upstairs smoke detector expired and battery alert at midnight<br/><br/>Upstairs toilet seat broken, light bulb burnt out<br/><br/>Downstairs carpets wet, dehumidifier running warm (85 degrees, and carpet still wet)<br/><br/>Downstairs ceiling peeling, plaster in/on guest bed linens rendering bed unusable<br/><br/>Downstairs couch dirty with rodent droppings and food crumbs.

Great Loon Rental

Great ski condo
This was a fantastic property. Even though it is not a ski on ski off, the location was perfect. Plenty of room for a large family. Well kept. Overall great experience.

Great Location
Great two family condo close to everything.<br/>Lot's of room, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Seperate area for kids and adults. Good size room for ski gear. I highly recommend this condo for a vacation in Lincoln

It was ok
I was a bit disappointed.. The pool was quite a walk (and a very long stairway) away from the house. The pool was dirty and the water was very cold. Advertised being a "riverfront" home, there was really no way of getting to the river unless you drove to their other location and even then it was a reach to get to the river without intruding on another property. If there was an easier way, we weren't told about it. The house itself is a bit dated and worn and could really use some TLC. For $2000 for a week I was expecting a little better but it was ok. The portable A/C units make it impossible to sleep, so most of the time they were off.

Great Property and Location
Right in the middle of the main mountain and south peak. Everything is within a short drive. Shuttle service about every 30 minutes. Property was clean, some things were a little dated but took nothing away from the stay. Id highly recommend the property and Loon Reservation Service. Great people.

Great Location
My husband and I and 3 couples stayed at the Riverfront Condo for a weekend in February and were very happy with our stay. The condo is clean and comfortable and a 5 minute drive to Loon Mountain.. I would recommend this place and go back again

Townhouses are okay
This appeared to be perfect unit for my multi-generation family get-away - 4 bedrooms, two living areas, 3.5 baths. We had 4 generations and wanted to stay togther rather than in two condos (we LOVE the condos at riverfront). We deiceded to try the townhouses because of their size. We experienced some drawbacks that will keep us from stying in the townhouses in the future (but may not be a problem for other families). First of all, we had to drive to the pool and diana's bath, not walk like you can from the condos. Safety was a problem in our unit - There were missing balusters on the deck that made it impossible to take our small child out on it. Inside, the loft and staircase balusters were spaced so far apart that she couldn't be trusted alone on the staircases. The lower level was very chilly - so we tried to use the electric heat to warm the two bedrooms. It did not work. The gas heater on that level was very tempramental and hard to regulate. People resorted to piling extra blankets over thier beds. The unit appears to be feeling its age - all the wallpaper is lifting in every bathroom from steam. Mattresses are tired. TV remotes missing batteries. The very large "dried" wreath above the fireplace is a fire hazard waiting to happen. My MIL thought it was a leftover Christmas decoration! If you enjoy rooms flooded with daylight, pick another town house - this is a very dark unit - not much natural light gets in. But the biggest issue for us was there was no privacy - 4 bedrooms, three levels and you could hear anything said in every corner of the unit - atrium styling made it very noisy. Did we have a miserable time? No! Was it the best value for the cost or for our needs - definately not. We will go back to the condos in the future.

Towels & /cleanliness
Every year the only complaint we have is that there are not enough towels. We would like two bath towels per person and you only leave one. Its verty difficult to wash and dry hair and body with the same towel. the unit this year was extremely clean and we were very pleased with that.

Nice except
We liked the house and it's location. We like the pools, the river, and peacefulness. The thing we didn't like was the basement was VERY musty. It smelled bad. I would not recommend staying there in the summer because there is no a/c. No matter what they say, you need a/c there in the summer. Trust me. Looks like it would a nice place for the winter or cooler months.

The mattresses on the beds in the basement were too soft. The basement also became pretty musty by the end of the trip. Overall the kitchen was really well stocked, though we could have used more kitchen trash liners and dish washing powder for the number of days we were there. Also would have liked a kitchen washcloth. The location was fantastic, the overall condos excellent and the service of the office expedient. We had a power outage that could not be fixed by fuse and the manager was there within a manner of minutes and called someone to fix it as fast as she could.<br/>

Great Weekend at Loon
From the moment we arrived at the Loon Reservation Office to pick up our keys we knew we were going to have a great weekend. The tone of the office was so friendly and welcoming it really added to our excitment of getting away. The agents were so helpful and gave us great information regarding our stay. We couldn't wait to get to our condo rental. The unit was beautifully decorated and so spacious & comfortable. My entire family loved it. We all want to rent it again soon!! Additionally on this level you will find a 1/2 bath, the laundry room and access to the back deck. The master and second bedrooms are located on the upper most floor and each have a queen size bed, flat screen television, air conditioning and private bath. On the lowest level you will find the third and fourth bedrooms each with two twin beds. These bedrooms share a bath. Also on the lowest level is a second living room with comfortable seating and another flat screen television.During the summer season make sure to take a dip in the near-by old fashion river swimming hole or spend time at one of the two outdoor pools. Tennis courts are also available during the summer months.
Pools and courts may be unavailable for short periods due to mechanical or physical maintenance. Admittance may be denied for non-adherence to pool/court rules.
