Living in a multi-family residence necessitates adhering to specific guidelines and practicing mutual consideration among all tenants. It is imperative for tenants and individuals within their premises to refrain from any actions that may disturb fellow residents. This house rule constitutes an integral component of the lease agreement.

Ventilation: Tenants must ensure proper ventilation of their apartments, even in their absence (twice daily for 10 minutes). Windows should not be left open or tilted during winter absences, and heating should be adjusted as needed.

Refrigerator: The refrigerator should be regularly defrosted when a thin layer of ice forms around the freezer compartment. Avoid forcing open the freezer door obstructed by ice. Set the refrigerator thermostat to a medium temperature (3) to minimize ice buildup.

Curtains: Periodic chemical cleaning is required for curtains. White curtains can be machine-washed at 30°C on the gentle cycle.

Descaling: Tenants are responsible for descaling faucet filters in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as the shower and toilet.

House Quiet Hours: Entrance doors, elevator doors, and room doors should be closed quietly. Radios and TVs should not exceed room volume. The entrance door should be locked with a key after 8:00 PM. Bathing or showering is not permitted after 10:00 PM.

Pets: Keeping pets is prohibited without written approval from the management. Exceptional tolerance for pets can be revoked at the discretion of the management at any time.

Waste Disposal: Waste should only be disposed of in the container in the courtyard using the provided 'Zürich-Säcke.' Violators will face a fine of CHF 100.-- by the city. It is forbidden to throw objects of any kind into sinks and toilets.

Prohibited Actions: Leaving bicycles or other items in the hallway, staircase, or basement is not permitted.

Laundry Room: Only tenants' laundry items, not those of other individuals, may be washed in the laundry room. Laundry items must not be left in the laundry room after use. After using the laundry room, it and the appliances must be cleaned. Turn off the lights, including those in the basement corridor; the light switch is located directly next to the elevator.

This house rule forms an integral part of the lease agreement. Non-compliance authorizes the landlord, after an unsuccessful warning, to terminate the lease.
