Montejaque - a Typical  'Pueblo Blanco'.
Montejaque is a wonderful, typical Andalucian 'white village', with traditional Moorish style architecture. It has a central square, church, village shops, banks, local bars serving tapas, restaurants and narrow, winding streets to wander around with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. This is an ideal place to relax away from the coast, but there are also plenty of sports and leisure activities available in the area. Many picturesque 'pueblo blancos' are only a short drive away. Historic Ronda with its spectacular gorge and the Pileta caves (prehistoric paintings)are nearby.

Our lovely home is located within a small community, overlooking a lovely pool and garden, only a few minutes stroll from the centre of the village. Designed and furnished to a high standard in typical rustic Andalucian style with exposed wood beams and a wood burning stove for cozy evenings in the winter (radiators in other rooms). Cooling fans are provided for the hot summer months. There is a sheltered terrace with a table and chairs for alfresco dining. Our cozy sitting room has a sofa and comfortable chairs, tv, cd/radio/cassette player, and tables with lamps, books, games - a real 'home away from home'. Montejaque stands in the Grazalema Natural Park famed for its walking, birdwatching and magnificent scenery.
