Easy to find, super friendly booking staff and operators, definitely the closest accommodations to Baker, no cellular is fine. But no WiFi in the cabin? (Common amenity, building has it.) Two families of four shared the condo. It was tight, but manageable. Accommodations are definitely dated to the mid 1970's, with very, very few updates since then (old CRT television and there's wall-to-wall shag carpet everywhere including the bathroom - yuck). Three out of four mattresses in the bunk beds were horrible - soft and you rolled to centre. Stereo didn't work, but there were lots of games and movies provided. I think all accommodations in the area are relatively the same vintage, so we would still recommend it.

Owner Comments Dear Guest: Thank you for your review! We sincerely appreciate your taking the time to send us a review of your stay. A couple of points to clear-up; there is definitely no wifi in the condo. As such, no such service is advertised. There is also no cell coverage, but the condo is equipped with a land line. Local calling (countywide) is free. Also; there are no TV signals or cable service available in our wooded mountain area, but the condo is equipped with a DVD/monitor along with a reasonable selection of movies (movies can also be rented locally). In this regard, Guests should be prepared for a mostly "unplugged" experience. This is actually the point of a stay in the Mt. Baker area...a chance to disconnect. We looked at the bunk beds, and weren't able to confirm your comments. Having said this, bunks are really better suited for children...not so much for adults. The images accurately depict the condo...including the carpeting, (which is admittedly somewhat dated but clean and in good condition) so there really shouldn't be any unpleasant surprises. Although we didn't hear from you at anytime during your stay, we subsequently checked the stereo, and found that someone had cross-connected two of the jacks. We plugged them back in correctly, and the stereo seems to work just fine. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans bring you back to Mt. Baker. Happy trails |

This spacious 2+ bedroom, 2+ bath, ground floor condo is a secluded family retreat. Features include a master bedroom with 1-queen bed, a shower and sauna room, a full bath with a large soaker tub, one bedroom with 2-sets of bunk beds, another full bath, a fully equipped galley style kitchen, a separate adjoining dining area, one living area with a gas fireplace and a walk-out porch, and a second living area with another walk-out porch. All this, plus great Snowater amenities, at a bargain price. This vacation property will sleep 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy).PLEASE NOTE: While this property is not pet-friendly for guests, the property owners do have pets. Persons who are particularly susceptible to pet allergens should take this into consideration and reserve accordingly.
Snowater is a gated community in Glacier, WA positioned on 20 acres of magnificent forest on the banks of the Nooksack River which runs on 3 sides of the property. At an elevation of 1000 feet, Snowater is accessible year-round. Amenities include two full recreational buildings with two heated swimming pools, hot tubs, a sauna, four tennis courts, basketball, squash/racquetball courts and an adult fitness center. There is a lounge area with free WIFI, a pool table, ping pong table and a separate toddler playroom. The grounds have BBQ/picnic areas as well as a children’s play structure and trails along the river. Snowater is located at the edge of the Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old growth forests.
