Weekend getaway
My husband and I took my daughter and her friend up to NH to see the ice castles. We were only there for 2 nights before Feb vacation ended. The condo was a cute little condo that had everything we needed. We also checked out the pool and fitness area in the building next door.

Overall great location and stay
Modest and comfortable unit. Could use more towels for convenience for using pool. A couple of drawers and cabinets need to be fixed as well. There also needs to be directions left for TV use as it is not self explanatory. Location is great for skiing and laundry (coin operated) is right across the hall.

1st floor condo with beach access
Loved this unit. Will definitely rent again. Comfortable bed which is rare! 1 bedroom and a pullout and 2 bathrooms, a nice size kitchen and living room and a little outside area and just 10 steps to the beach. Very quiet and comfortable.

Last condo available at Loon
It seems there is a reason why this was the only condo available at Loon last weekend. From the furniture to the kitchen, the owners are obviously not putting any money into this property, and it shows. Fortunately, it was priced accordingly.

Deer Park unit 45.
Great location and beautiful view. The unit was clean with comfortable furnishings. Near all the attractions - Loon Mt., Flume, Cannon Mt. and trails as well as restaurants which a favorite is The Common Man. <br/>The TV in the living room was not working, however. Someone did come to try to fix it but could not. The screens in the bedroom window needed cleaning. The outside seating area had huge spider webs.

The room was nice and the view was great.<br/>I think though for the money spent for the room to ask the occupant to put trash in their car and bring it to a dumpster is out of line. I would'nt put trash in my car at home I would bring a truck. Every thing else was great. Please look at this im sure it does'nt only bother me.

Itchy Bites
The unit was infested with some sort of biting insect...not sure whether bed bugs, spiders, or what. My wife and I are still scratching, and hoping that whatever was in there did not travel home with us. Looks good so far. Also, all the drawers in the kitchen were broken off their tracks. A little basic maintenance would have been nice. That being said, besides the biting critters, the unit was clean and a nice spot to spend a week.

A nice place to stay
While it would be nice to have the rental office on the property of the condo we rented, our ground-floor condo was quiet and comfortable for the family. The bed wasn't bad and the building fronted a small pond. The boys loved the property and the pool/hot tub that was available. I wish we could have stayed a little longer.

This unit is not so great, but it has a nice view
It's a place to sleep, sort of. The fold out couch was unbearable as they usually are. We've stayed in this complex before, and enjoyed it, but this unit was clearly a ski crash joint only. Old CRT TV, second hand furniture, in the basement of a fairly nice building. Reminded me of college, not the good stuff.

Deer Park 45
Deer Park is an attractive, well managed facility. unit 45 is not a semi-detached house as are the 2-3 bedroom units which were functionally and attractively laid out. #45 is an apartment in a multiple unit building. It is on the lower level and overlooks a lovely pond. The unit is below grade, in the basement level. It would help if the code to the back door of the building , the door leading to the the parking lot were given to the tenant. Without the code to the side door, a guest must walk back up to the street level from the side parking lot and around to the front door of the building -- a long, cold journey, especially at night and if you have a young child. The unit is underfurnished. Feels bleak and out of date with a mauve and dark blue color scheme and faux-country mass produced sofa and chair. A couple of random posters form tag sales are the wall decor. The bed linens and blankets are scruffy and pilled. Not attractive. The forced air heat is not kind to skin or noses or throats. Some humidification is suggested for health The bed less than comfortable with an open-work scroll of bamboo making it impossible to sit up in bed to read or watch TV. Oouch!, Maybe a foam mattress topper might help, too. The low-wattage fluorescent lighting is not color corrected enough and is very dim, prison-like. Bring your own towels, both bath and swim. The Deer Park Rec center is right next door. It is clean and well run. There's a work out center and a racquet ball court, a small arcade and an activity room great for teens and preteens. One exception, the pool needs more maintenance. It was not being treated enough to keep up with the numbers of swimmers. It was cloudy!!! Yuck. Pool water should be clear and sparkling. Its not like folks were drenched in sunblock and lotions, but even then resorts keep the pools up to public health standards. I seriously doubt the Deer Park pool meets public health code. It was disgusting, truly.
